I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1769: 24.30 Sixth Violet Star - Excuse us

The sudden appearance of the two wardens made the Long Clan be on guard. They thought they were intruders targeting their family. Assassins like before who wanted to kill the marshal and his family. Even though they are used to this kind of thing, the fact that they didn’t notice the presence of the two until they were close enough terrified them. Thankfully, the youngest in the group recognized these people.

The moment they heard that this pair is the one who gave away the support type beast egg to their youngest, Long Juedi, made them realize that these two must have come to meet the two lord beasts at the manor as they were informed by Lord Hunluan and Lord An. Long Huang, the old marshal, stepped in and still asked politely for the intention of the pair even though they had already guessed who they came for.

Long Huang asked, ”If these friends are kind enough to tell us why they came, please do inform us.”

”The letter had been sent. We felt that the imprint we left on it had been activated meaning that the people who are supposed to read it had gotten the letter. We only came for the Ancient Lords and meant nothing more,” The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye, said.

Warden Yun Ming ignored the adults and smiled at Long Juedi waving a hand at him. The innocent child also waved his hand as he saw the gentle looking uncle again.

”Uncle, did you come here to take the egg away?” Long Juedi asked as he looked like he would cry next if Warden Yun Ming answered yes.

Warden Yun Ming immediately said, ”No. That’s the gift we carefully choose for you. Your future is full of blood and battles. That support type egg can give you the biggest support. Of course, the main beast the ancient lords would chose for you is your greatest strength.”

”Ming’er, it’s time to go,” said the Chief Warden as he walk forwards without saying anymore words to the Long family.

Long Kian was a bit annoyed by the Chief Warden’s action and muttered, ”What a rude person.”

Warden Yun Ming is used to his lover ignoring everything else except for the mission they have. He smiled at Long Kian as if soothing the awkward atmosphere in the group.

”Please don’t mind him. His personality is like this. He is like this to everyone except the lord. Old Marshal, we will introduce ourselves the next time we meet. Do excuse us for now,” Warden Yun Ming said as he chased after his lover.

However, when the Long family turned around, the pair had long disappeared. It seem they had entered the manor without them noticing and was surprised by it,

Long Kian exclaims, ”What the hell?! They suddenly disappeared.”

”Alright. Let’s not get involved. Go back to the palace,” said the old marshal, Long Huang.

The face of the old marshal was serious as recalled what his eldest son had asked just now about the ancient forest and what kind of beings can come out of that place alive. As if he had a realization, he wishes to leave this place and go back to their house to think of things more deeply. But it seems his sons didn’t noticed much about this interaction making the old man a bit disappointed.

Long Kian said, ”No wonder they survived the ancient forest and took out a beast egg from such a death zone. Looking at that rude man, he looks quite powerful.”

”Just because the other person is smiling and looks kind doesn’t mean he is weak. Just the fact that another person is letting him stay by his side shows his strength,” The marshal, Long Tian said. ”However, how can a human come out of the ancient forest when even a gold ranked beast master died in there?”

”Who told you those two are humans?” The old marshal said.

His words had rendered his sons speechless with shock imprinted on their faces. Unless they are fools and couldn’t understand the hidden meaning of their father, then what a waste of them being a part of this family. They were stunned because they understood the hidden meaning of their father’s word leaving them unable to react due to incredulity.

Long Kian asked, ”Oh my god! Is this for real!?” He glanced at the closed door of the detached manor and shivered thinkin what kind of beings had just appeared before them.

With a deep frown on his face, Marshal Long Tian speaks, ”Is father trying to say that those two aren’t humans? Is that even possible?”

”Have you forgotten what happened inside the manor just now?” The old marshal asked and took his grandson to walk back to the main house in a hurry.

It took awhile before the old marshal’s words sank into his two sons. Once they realized what their father’s words meant.

Long Kian asked, ”Brother, are those two men not human?”

”Don’t talk. Shut up. Let’s go back,” said Long Tian as he dragged away his brother to follow their father.

Meanwhile, inside the detached manor...

The two wardens and the two systems who materialized knelt before the two ancient lords. They are all in their god forms which are humanoid shapes. In the presence of the Ancient Lord of Chaos, these four current era’s gods can still remain calm. However, in the presence of the world eater who emits the aura of gluttony, it made things a bit hard for the four to endure. In his overbearing presence, these four gods can barely breathe. At first, Hunluan didn’t notice things until he saw Yun Ming’s trembling legs and he understood what was happening.

Before whenever they meet these children, their son is with them bearing the aura of his other half for them. Now that the God of Destruction isn’t around, there is no one protecting them from the sinister aura of his beloved.

The Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan said to his other half. ”A’Zhe, your aura is leaking. The children can’t hold on.”

”I forgot. The mortals can’t feel my aura so I was leaking it unconditionally. It increases the growth of my vessel in this world so I let it be,” said An Shizhe, the world eater, as sealed off his aura. ”Shouldn’t you guys be used to it now?”

The young gods in front of them lowered their heads as they knew that they couldn’t get used to it.

Hunluan said, ”They aren’t used to it. Before our son protects them from your aura, now that our son isn’t around they are unprotected before your aura.”

”Aren’t you guys a bit spoiled? You should gain some resistance to my aura and Luan’er’s chaos energy. At least you won’t be as you are now,” said An Shizhe.

The Chief Warden spoke without meeting the eyes of the ancient lords. ”We will try our best.”

”Alright. Stop teasing them,” said Hunluan.

Tsk!

The world eater, An Shizhe said, ”These guys are quite fun to tease~”

System Yue, who found out that the two lords are indeed born from this pair thanks to their personality and appearance, couldn’t helped but have the following thoughts: ’Lord Hei’s mischievous side was inherited from Ancient Lord An, while his cold demeanor was taken from Ancient Lord Hunluan. Amazing, I never thought I would just realize this.’

The world eater noticed Zhi Yue’s gaze on him and instead of fear there is more of interest in those innocent looking eyes.

”Would you look at that? This little moon seems to be a bit bolder compared to the rest. Kid, is there something wrong?” The World Eater, An Shizhe asked with a smirk on his face.

Zhi Yue exclaims, ”Wow~ Even the way the ancient lord smiles is quite similar to Lord Hei. The only difference is that Lord Hei’s smile inclines to being alluring yet playful. While the old lord’s smile is more like an arrogant taunt.”

Hunluan, who was about to drink his tea, almost choked when he heard the brave little moon. He didn’t know why this timid little moon god who was quivering before was now fearlessly looking at his husband and even throwing words that made the latter speechless. He also saw as the other system named Zhi Yang reached out his hands to cover the courageous little moon’s mouth preventing the latter from saying more things.

Zhi Yang whispered, ”Yue’er, don’t speak anymore.”

As for the two wardens beside them, they were silently sweating buckets for that stupid moon god who couldn’t hold back his mouth. Fortunately, the World Eater wasn’t offended and instead was happy with those words.

”Seriously! This is the first time someone said that my son looks like me. Hehe~” The World Eater An Shizhe said looking delighted.

Even Hunluan was quite happy, after all, the God of Destruction is their only son. Born from both of their powers and was given a life by the chaos. Even so they still failed to protect the child and even in the end left him behind to bring them back to life. What made them relieved is that, at least the child was someone whom he had given his heart to and is now happy with this person even having children.

The Ancient God of Chaos lost the softness in his eyes for thinking about his son and said, ”Let’s focus on what you have discovered. Tell us every single detail you saw in that barren land.”
