I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1762: 24.23 Sixth Violet Star - Distortion

The unknown black eggs origin wasn’t seen by the wardens and the systems as they didn’t follow the world’s villain back to his home. However, just by how it was fed with human blood, this egg isn’t an ordinary beast egg. It is something more sinister than a beast and something that shouldn’t have existed in this world. But the obsession shown by Pei Jin was something he isn’t in control with. Even his words suggested that in another timeline, this black egg wasn’t able to hatch at all.

Pei Jin watches as his big black egg absorbs all the blood in the basin. He then commanded people to clean up the dried corpses to be cleared.

”Servants, clean up the bodies! Do you want to be sacrificed next!”

The servants waiting at the side tremble at the words of their young lord. They immediately move to clean up the area as they truly believe that this cruel young lord of theirs wouldn’t just threaten them and would truly do as he says. After all, a lot of servants before them had been sacrificed to that evil egg and had their blood drained from their bodies like these slaves that just died. The servant left in a hurry afraid that he would be killed next. Their young lord looks at them like dead people.

Pei Jin caressed the black egg lovingly before preparing to leave.

”I will be back. Once I grabbed that beastman cub from Long Juedi and fed it to you, you should be able to hatch successfully.”

Ancient Forest. Beastman Village.

After the sun had set, Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie were picked up by some adult beastman and sent to their leader. Though they were allowed to play at the outskirts of the village, they were required to return before the sun sets. That’s why some beastmen would always come looking for them before the sun completely sets. Huzi, the nine tailed fox beastman, sent them back to the cave and served their dinner.

After eating dinner, Huzi said to his children, ”Dad has to attend a village meeting. You don’t need to wait for dad to come back. Go to sleep early, my babies~”

He only rubs their heads gently before tucking them in their beds. Only when Huzi saw his cubs yawning that he decided to tuck the children for the night.

”Good night, Cubs~” Huzi said.

Ye Xiajie responded, ”Good night.” As for Hei Anjing, who is pretending to be a beast, only rubs its face on Huzi’s hands.

The lights in the cave were turned off before Huzi had taken his leave to attend a late village meeting. This is a meeting in name. In reality, the adult beastmen gather at night to have a drinking party. This usually only happens twice a month and today happened to be the day for it. After the footsteps of Huzi became distant, the God of Destruction who was pretending to be a small fox transformed into another toddler similar to the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Ye Xiajie also opened his eyes and saw this scene as well. Though he had seen his wife turned into a child, this is the first time he is seeing him in a baby form. He immediately fell in love with such a cute wife.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness hugs his wife and rubs his cheeks with the other with an adorable smile on his face.

”Baby~ you are so cute. A bit similar to Xiao Jing when he was born. However, much cuter than he is,” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing whose cheeks were being lightly bitten by his husband, ”Noh bating!” his age was so young that just talking is making him twist his tongue. This is very similar to twins when they are young.

Ye Xiajie just felt his wife was cuter even when his tongue was twisted as he tried to speak words. He can only jump onto his lover and hug him. However, because they are both young, chubby and round. This hug ended up with them rolling down the bed. Thankfully there are people who caught them on it. It was the wardens who resumed their original forms.

Zhi Yue commented, [Safe~ Phew! How can they suddenly roll off the bed? Is it because they are round?]

[Don’t say round. They are just small and chubby looking a bit puff,] Zhi Yang said.

Zhi Yue looked at his alter ego with confusion on his face. [Is that any different from what I’ve just said?]

Warden Yun Ming said, ”That’s dangerous!” In the end, the Chief Warden helped carry the two toddlers back on the bed.

The two gods looked at their subordinates calmly as they didn’t mind much how they looked and how others looked at them.

The God of Destruction asked, ”You’ve come back in just half a day? Have you found them?”

”Master, we cannot find any traces of the two Ancient Lords. However, the world plot says that the protagonist of the world had bought a Beastman Egg mistaking it for a Beast egg. This egg is something from the laboratory, meaning the Ancient Lords might be with the protagonist,” Warden Yun Ming said.

Lou Wuye added, ”We also found a variable in this world. The villain seems to have been reincarnated.”

”We thought that he might either be reincarnated or a transmigrator. But he cannot be a transmigrator, as the scent of his soul is similar to this world. He is definitely a reincarnator,” said Warden Yun Ming. ”This world had too many things that had not been recorded in the World Plot.”

The God of Destruction said, ”The distortion in this world had begun. Once those flowers have fully bloomed then... this world will be beyond saving.”

”Would using the time element stop the distortion?” asked the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

Hei Anjing answers, ”No. Unless it is a domain, it would be affected by it no matter what.”

”I have a minor domain of time elements,” said Ye Xiajie.

The God of Destruction shook his head and said, ”You cannot get too close to it. The power of gluttony was born from Chaos itself. You might lose control if we are not too careful. The safest bet is to make the two of them (Hunluan and An Shizhe) solve the problems about chaos flowers.”

The power of chaos is simply too dangerous for ordinary gods. Even for the Sovereign of Void and Darkness, there is no guarantee that it would badly affect him. After all, this is a power which gives life to the universe and stars as well as death to all existence. The Chaos flowers in this world compared to the ones before are completely different. Before Hunluan had returned to life, all chaos bloomed in its dormant state.

In short, the distortions wouldn’t be born from it. Now that Hunluan had come back to life, these dormant flowers started becoming active. This is all because they are affected by the rebirth of the Ancient God of Chaos in the current era. As long as the Ancient God of Chaos is present in the world with chaos flowers, its effects will be multiplied and be deadly to all other existence.

Hei Anjing said, ”You guys are going to the protagonist’s house tomorrow. Make sure to find those two and immediately report the situation to them. Once the distortion has begun, this world will be beyond repair. I can only destroy it to prevent it from spreading chaos. Chaos cannot be spread. Once it does, it would attract those beings beyond this cosmos. It loves the power of distortion the most.”

As the God that had been protecting this world from those aliens beyond the cosmos, he knows what attracted them in their cosmos. That is the power of chaos and gluttony. He who was born from chaos itself had attracted all the enemies on the Cosmos Battlefield and it was also for the same reason why he had killed all those aliens and prisoned them at the depths of his domain. They had gone insane just being exposed to the power of chaos.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”Will I still be affected by those flowers even after borrowing your powers?”

”This... I haven’t tried. I do not advise you to try it though. Let Hunluan handle that power. I am worried about the things that might be called to this place because of distortions once it began,” the God of Destruction said and noticed that Huzi was about to return home.

He abruptly informed the others about it and said, ”Huzi is coming. You should take your leave. Do not forget. You must find them as soon as possible and report the current situation to them, especially to Hunluan.”

”Is there no way for the distortion to be halted?” The Chief Warden asked.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Since the blooming of Chaos Flower would cause distortion, isn’t it better to uproot it before it blooms?”

”Not possible. Since it was about to bloom destroying it now would cause all energy in it to explode and spread. That would lead to instant death of this world and all gods not born from chaos will be affected and go insane. You cannot try doing so,” said Hei Anjing.
