I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1757: 24.18 Sixth Violet Star - Barren Land

The Marshal, Long Tian, instantly understood everything when he saw a broken contract scroll near the two beasts that lived in this manor. Force contract: the culprit wanted to force a contract on a beast that was unaware of the situation. Thankfully, Long Teng didn’t know that there were two beasts, and he was taken in by one of them and successfully destroyed this contract. This action of theft is clearly done by Long Teng, but it is impossible to do such a thing unless it was intentionally done by someone. The Marshal knew that it was instigated by his younger brother, the uncle of Long Juedi and father of Long Teng, Long Kian.

”You wanted your son to sign a contract with my son’s beasts?! What kind of bullshit do you have in your head!?” Bellowed Marshal Long Tian.

Upon hearing the ugly words of his elder brother, Long Kian had also lost it. Why do his elder brother and his family get the best of everything? It was simply unfair in his eyes. He just wanted his son to get the best beast that can do healing. Healing is a rare ability, and a person who signs a beast of this kind will be considered by them as the most important. Moreover, in battles, the healer was the one who was tightly protected by the group.

That’s why he sent his son to force a contract with this beast, all because he can acquire it, and as long as the contract between him and the beast was made, no one else can say anything. Who would have thought that Long Teng would be caught off guard and would be caught while in the middle of stealing? Now he might have become a fool as a backlash from the contract scroll being destroyed.

Long Kian finally snapped and talked back to his elder brother: ”Bullshit? If not for you and your family taking most of the resources of this clan, I wouldn’t have done such a thing. With how limited the eggs that can be bought in the market are, how come your son has two uncontracted ones in his possession!? Isn’t that unfair?! I am also a father’s son! How come you get everything, brother!?”

”I think you are getting the wrong idea here. The two eggs these beasts had come out of weren’t something Father had given to Jue’er. This is something he had bought with his own money. He was lucky enough to find an auction and bought it with his own savings. It had nothing to do with Father!” said Long Tian.

Long Kian said, ”I don’t believe you! You are just saying nonsense!”

”Why the hell should I lie? If there is someone who has received support from your father about the eggs, it was you and your son! While my Jue’er bought his own eggs. Now you still want to steal a junior’s beast. Aren’t you embarrassed?” the marshal, Long Tian, said. He is definitely angered by this situation.

The brothers were fighting and didn’t even notice how annoyed the World Eater, An Shizhe, was. They just have to cause commotion in the area where he and Hunluan live. Moreover, they were too loud, and Hunluan was still sleeping. Finally, he couldn’t hold back anymore and snapped at them.

”Too fucking noisy! Can’t you two bastards fight somewhere else?” The World Eater, An Shizhe, said in his human form.

His words were almost a curse on himself, and the brothers, who never got along, were both caught by surprise. They suddenly stop fighting and look for the source of that small voice, yet his words are full of thorns.

”WHO IS TALKING!?”

”I do. Do you have a problem with it?” The World Eater, An Shizhe, said.

The Marshal, Long Tian, and his younger brother, Long Kian, turned their heads to the source of the voice and saw a small, black lion cub looking at them with contemptuous looks and even looking at them like some kind of trash. Long Tian was still a bit okay as he knew that this small beast was not completely a beast but a beastman cub. The type that is powerful enough after just being born, and has the ability to learn language well.

The most surprised among them was Long Kian, who now looked like he had seen a ghost. He exclaims, ”What the hell is this thing? It can speak!”

”You guys are truly annoying. Get the hell out!” An Shizhe shouted as he used wind to push them out of their manor.

WHOOSHED!

All the humans who were inside the manor just now were sent out stumbling from the mansion. Then, a scary blackish-purple mist surrounds the mansion. This mist prevents anyone from going to the mansion, and those who try to forcibly go inside will suffer delusions caused by the strange-colored mist around the mansion. When the old marshal learned what had happened, Long Kian was punished, while the two of them were scolded by the old man as soon as he returned with Long Juedi.

The angered voice of the old marshal was heard in the mansion of the Long family. Long Kian was scolded and punished for what he had done.

He wanted to complain and rebel. ”Father! I am not wrong! What is wrong with me wanting the best beast for my son!”

”I told you those are my son’s beasts; he had them hatch themselves. Be thankful that they didn’t kill the two of you. Those two beasts were no ordinary beasts. One of them is a beast king; do not play with your lives,” said the old marshal.

Long Kian couldn’t believe that he had just sent his son to a beast king’s lair, and just thinking about him made his face turn pale. What kind of existence is a beast king? That’s a beast that can lead a horde of its kind. Powerful, intelligent, and someone who cannot be easily provoked. Who would have thought that his two sons would ignore that kind of existence and even fight in front of it?

The old marshal said, ”You guys are forbidden from approaching that manor! Do you understand?”

”Yes, Father!”

—

In the barren lands, the territory of all beasts, the two wardens and two systems were walking around unhindered by any beasts. The reason for that was that most beasts in this place are sensitive to danger. If they scent the smell of humans, they would definitely come out and attack his people. Unfortunately, they don’t smell something like that coming from these two. There are even two systems that were unknown to them.

System Zhi Yang said, [There is a strange aura coming from that direction.]

Zhi Yang had pointed in the direction that gave the two wardens an eerie feeling. Whatever that thing is in that direction made them shiver. However, they couldn’t back out. Only when everything in this land was explored by them could they go back to report to their masters.

System Zhi Yue said, [Are we truly going?]

”Don’t stay close. If something has gone wrong, immediately teleport us away. For some reason, I think that a bit of this aura is similar to Master’s. It is just that it was too weak compared to Lord Hei’s aura,” Warden Yun Ming said.

When the other three heard his words, they became more vigilant. A power similar to the one possessed by the God of Destruction. That is a simple power. It might be something extremely powerful and dangerous. Moreover, this is the territory of the beasts. The Chief Warden might be alright, as he is born a beast in this world, but Warden Yun Ming is born as a beastman. With such unknown power, he would be in danger if it’s something that affected beings that aren’t beasts.

The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye, said, ”Ming’er, hold my hand. If there is danger ahead, you mustn’t hesitate to leave.”

”I know. Don’t worry. I will become your burden,” said Warden Yun Ming.

The chief warden said, ”You are never a burden to me.”

The four of them walked in the direction Zhi Yang had pointed. They had hidden their aura just in case. What they didn’t know was that as soon as they left the area they just rested in, a large number of various beasts had come out. They were looking at them as they ventured deeper into this unknown land. At the center, the drying earth of the barren land, they saw something they had never expected. A sea of silver flowers, and at the center is a colossal black beast that looks like a bear. I was asleep. But what caught their attention wasn’t the beast itself but the silver flowers surrounding it.

”Chaos Flower,” Warden Yun Ming mumbles.

His mouth was suddenly covered by his lover’s hand as he noticed the chief warden looking so vigilant as they tried to walk slowly back. This is a flower that couldn’t just be touched so easily. This is a flower filled with chaotic energy. Its effect was already well known to everyone. A power that makes one stronger but influences one to spread insanity and distortion in existence.

It’s just that when they were about to leave, they heard the sleeping beast at the center of the flower garden waking up.

The chief warden said, ”Run!”
