The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1273: Chapter 1294: Mr. Liang Takes a Bullet for Xia Xiaonuan

But Princess Rasha’er should be in Australia right now, she shouldn’t be here, right?

Xia Xiaonuan didn’t know why, but a wave of unease suddenly surged in her heart.

At that moment, Rasha’er’s gaze suddenly turned toward her. Their eyes met, and Rasha’er seemed to give her a faint smile.

Xia Xiaonuan’s whole body went rigid on the spot.

”Watching so intently?” A magnetic voice sounded as Nangong Yaoling asked with a smile.

Xia Xiaonuan snapped back to her senses.

She hurriedly said, ”The dance is... pretty good.”

Just then, a few waiters came over with the food.

”Sir, the dishes you ordered.”

Nangong Yaoling lifted his eyes, his gaze falling on the waiter’s face and the tray in his hands.

The waiter’s hand moved slightly beneath the tray.

His brows twitched faintly.

Right at that moment, the waiter suddenly whipped out a handgun. Nangong Yaoling flipped the table up and rammed it toward the waiter.

Xia Xiaonuan hadn’t yet understood what was happening when Nangong Yaoling yanked her up hard, pulling her into his arms.

”Bang—!” A gunshot cracked through the air, shattering the peaceful atmosphere of the entire hotel.

Screams erupted from the crowd.

”Nangong Yaoling, go to hell!” the waiter shouted, raising the gun again, ready to fire at Nangong Yaoling.

”Bang—!” Before the waiter could pull the trigger, a bullet slammed straight into his forehead.

Qin Yi stood behind Nangong Yaoling, calmly holding his gun.

The man’s eyes widened as his whole body toppled backward.

”Ah—!” Xia Xiaonuan screamed. Nangong Yaoling yanked her into his arms. ”Don’t be afraid!” he ground out between his teeth.

Across from them, Liang Shaochen and Zhong Li were also startled.

At that moment, the guests who had been quietly dining suddenly turned into cold-faced killers, charging at Nangong Yaoling and the others with guns and knives.

”Protect the Young Master!” Qin Yi shouted. Nangong Yaoling’s bodyguards immediately rushed forward and engaged those men in combat.

Qin Yi darted to the front of Nangong Yaoling. ”Young Master, you go first, leave this to me!”

Nangong Yaoling’s face was dark as ink. He glanced at the terrified, stunned Xiaonuan in his arms, grabbed her and was about to leave when a burly man came at them swinging a knife.

Xia Xiaonuan saw the gleaming blade slicing toward them. Her legs turned to jelly and she screamed. In the next instant she was lifted off the ground—Nangong Yaoling scooped her up, lashed out with a flying kick that sent the man sprawling, then raised his gun and shot him dead with a single bullet.

”Stay behind me!” As a few more burly men rushed over, Nangong Yaoling dragged Xia Xiaonuan behind him and took two of them down with one kick.

Xia Xiaonuan was shaking all over, completely stunned by the scene before her.

Why did this feel like shooting a gunfight movie...

Except this was a real fight... with real blood... and real dead people...

Xia Xiaonuan’s hands and feet trembled, but she still forced herself to hide behind Nangong Yaoling.

All the guests were screaming and fleeing in all directions. Liang Shaochen and Nangong Zhongli also joined the fight.

The attackers were clearly prepared. The dozen or so who had come all had strong combat skills.

Bullets whizzed through the hotel lobby.

Sometimes Nangong Yaoling would scoop Xia Xiaonuan up; other times he’d shove her down beside him.

Just then, the man who had been knocked to the ground suddenly raised his gun and aimed it at Xia Xiaonuan.

Nangong Yaoling was fighting the man in front of him and didn’t notice what was happening behind him.

Liang Shaochen had just taken down the man in front of him. As he turned, he saw Xia Xiaonuan in immediate danger.

His pupils instantly dilated, his gaze dropping to the floor.

The man jerked the trigger.
