The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 873: Chapter 893: Can You Really Bear to Leave the Young Master?

Xia Xiaonuan couldn’t help but laugh, and Qi Yue burst out laughing, ”That Situ Yan... is just too hilarious!”

Xia Xiaonuan laughed while looking exasperated, ”Right... he must have forgotten to take his medicine this morning...”

Qi Yue: ”...”

The two sisters held each other and laughed for a while.

Qi Yue remembered something and said, ”By the way, Xiaonuan, what did you want to see me about today?”

Xia Xiaonuan’s expression suddenly turned serious.

She pulled Qi Yue over to the bedside.

”Qi Yue, I might have to leave for a while, but there are some things here that I can’t let go of. I hope you can help me keep an eye on them.”

Qi Yue was slightly taken aback.

”Xiaonuan, have you really decided? To leave here? Do you really, want to cut ties with Young Master so definitively?”

Xia Xiaonuan gave a bitter smile, ”It’s come to this now, and I really have no other choice!”

”You do have a choice!” Qi Yue held her hand and said, ”Xiaonuan, Young Master surely still cares about you. If you explain it to him clearly, he will believe you!

If you’re willing to yield to him, he won’t be so heartless! You two, it’s just that neither of you is willing to admit defeat, and that’s why things have gotten to this point.”

Xia Xiaonuan shook her head, ”Qi Yue, some things, even if I tell you, you might not understand. In this matter, it’s not just between me and Nangong Yaoling, it involves many people and things. Leaving now is the best choice.”

”Xiaonuan, why wouldn’t I understand! Isn’t it just a misunderstanding between you two? Once that’s cleared up, everything can be like it was before, right?”

Xia Xiaonuan looked at Qi Yue’s naive and innocent face, and inside, she didn’t know what she felt for a moment.

The matter between her and Nangong Yaoling is far from just a simple misunderstanding.

Even if she stayed, even if Nangong Yaoling believed her, would Nangong Zhongli let her off? Would Situ Yan let Nangong Yaoling off?

And then there’s Nan Mo...

Nangong Zhongli was right, leaving now is the best choice.

”Qi Yue, promise me, will you?”

Qi Yue helplessly shook her head, ”Don’t worry, of course I’ll promise you. If anything happens with the Xia Family, I will definitely contact you!”

Xia Xiaonuan gratefully held Qi Yue’s hand, ”Thank you.”

”But...” Qi Yue thought of something and couldn’t help but ask, ”Are you... planning to leave with Situ Yan?”

Xia Xiaonuan hesitated but nodded.

Qi Yue was uncertain about how she felt for a moment.

She never thought that the person that night would be Situ Yan.

She originally thought she would never see Situ Yan again, but... if Xiaonuan is with Situ Yan, then... if she gives birth to the child and meets Xiaonuan again, she might meet Situ Yan too.

If that’s the case, what if... Situ Yan realizes something?

”However, Situ Yan and I... it’s just because of an agreement, and after a while, I might leave him, or perhaps, go somewhere else.”

”Xiaonuan... do you... do you really not care for Young Master? Do you really have no feelings for him at all?”

Xia Xiaonuan lowered her head.

”There’s no point in saying these things now, is there?”

A hint of bitterness welled up in Qi Yue’s heart.

”When are you leaving?”

Xia Xiaonuan hesitated for a moment before speaking, ”Tomorrow...”

”Alright then. Well... I wish you a safe journey. Once you get there, you must call me, and... please take care.”
