The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 872: Chapter 892: Are These Two Women Crazy?

Just as Xia Xiaonuan was lifting a glass of water to give Situ Yan a drink, suddenly, she heard Qi Yue’s voice from outside the door.

”Nurse, can you tell me which room Xia Xiaonuan is in?”

”Xiaonuan... Ah, it seems to be the room in front.” Being a VIP ward, the people living there are either wealthy or noble, so the hospital has extremely professional nurses on this floor, and they generally remember the names of the patients inside.

”Thank you...”

Hearing the voice outside, Xia Xiaonuan’s body stiffened, and as a result, she unconsciously tightened her hand.

”Pfft... Cough...”

A glass of water was abruptly splashed onto Situ Yan’s face, even some went up his nose.

Instinctively, Situ Yan let go of Xiaonuan, took a step back, and covered his nose with his hand, coughing dryly.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

At this moment, Qi Yue reached the doorway.

And then she saw Situ Yan with water splashed all over his face, looking disheveled, the water running down his chin and onto his clothes.

”Pfft...” Unable to help herself, Qi Yue burst into laughter again.

Situ Yan lifted his eyes to see Qi Yue at the door, doubled over with laughter, and Xiaonuan holding a water glass, looking innocent while trying hard not to laugh, his eye twitched slightly.

”Xia Xiaonuan, you must have done this on purpose!” he said, wiping the water from his face, gritting his teeth.

”I... I didn’t...” Xia Xiaonuan hurriedly replied with a laugh.

Qi Yue walked up to Xia Xiaonuan and whispered, ”Xiaonuan, well done.”

Even though she spoke softly, Situ Yan still heard it, his lowered hand clenched into a fist, he glared viciously at Qi Yue through gritted teeth.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”Are you two... okay?” Xia Xiaonuan asked, her face full of black lines as she looked at Qi Yue and Situ Yan.

”Of course we’re fine!” Qi Yue eyed Situ Yan and said to Xiaonuan, ”I just find your friend extremely irritating, Xiaonuan... while we sisters are talking, irrelevant individuals, please vacate for this princess!”

With that, she winked at Xiaonuan.

Xia Xiaonuan’s eye twitched as she looked at the pitiful Situ Yan still dripping with water, holding back her laughter, she said, ”Situ Yan, why don’t you vacate for this princess first then...”

Situ Yan: ”...”

Have these two women gone mad?

His eyes dark and sparkling, Situ Yan suddenly tossed the tissue into the trash and strode towards Xia Xiaonuan.

”Xia Xiaonuan, what did you just say?” he stared at her, asking coldly.

Xia Xiaonuan was taken aback, and Qi Yue by her side, her expression changed.

Had she... gone too far with the joke? This man, it seemed he really wasn’t to be trifled with?

She glanced nervously at Xiaonuan.

Xia Xiaonuan patted her hand, raised her eyebrow, and said to Situ Yan with a half-smile, ”I said, ’you, vacate for this princess first then!’”

But suddenly, Situ Yan extended his hand and pinched Xia Xiaonuan’s chin.

The scent of tobacco on him was overwhelming, and Situ Yan gritted his teeth saying, ”Xia Xiaonuan, how dare you speak to your emperor like that?!!”

”...” Your emperor...

”Pfft...”

Situ Yan glared at Qi Yue with a black face, saying word by word, ”As for you, for the sake of being the good sister of Nuan, I can let this slide, but if you dare tease me again, you’ll be executed!”

Qi Yue was stunned, almost overwhelmed by Situ Yan’s aura. For a moment, she felt like this guy really had an emperor’s spirit.

Xia Xiaonuan’s eye twitched, but Situ Yan had already turned around and left swiftly.

Qi Yue was completely flustered.

Once Situ Yan had left, she completely collapsed with laughter.
