The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 640: Chapter 642: Your Eyes Betrayed Your Heart

Outside, the night lights were just coming on. The light shone on Situ Yan’s face.

It was hard to discern any expression.

He was silent for a moment before suddenly turning around and pressing his body close to hers.

Xia Xiaonuan stiffened and hurriedly turned her face away.

Sniffing near her ear, Situ Yan murmured, ”I want to take you away from Nangong Yaoling...”

As he spoke, his warm breath hit the hollow of her neck, causing her to shiver slightly.

Xia Xiaonuan was about to lose it.

She reached out and forcefully pushed Situ Yan’s head away.

Glaring at him, she said angrily, ”Situ Yan, do you think this is fun? Do you really enjoy teasing girls like this? But I’m telling you, I won’t fall for it! There’s absolutely no possibility between you and me!”

”Who told you I like teasing girls?”

”...”

”But you’re the first girl I’ve known for so long who hasn’t fallen in love with me.”

Xia Xiaonuan was speechless again.

”Has anyone ever told you that you’re unbelievably narcissistic?”

”Yes, you are the first.” Situ Yan stared at her.

Xia Xiaonuan: ”...”

”If you plan to use me for some unspeakable purposes, all I can say is, please let go early. I won’t let your schemes succeed.”

”Am I really that bad in your eyes?” Situ Yan covered his chest, looking hurt.

Xia Xiaonuan glanced at him and said, ”Stop pretending. Your eyes have betrayed your heart.”

Situ Yan chuckled.

”Alright.” He sighed, looking up at the ceiling. ”I’m done for. You are the first woman to see through my schemes and still be able to live well in front of me. But I still can’t bear to hurt you now.”

Xia Xiaonuan: ...

”You should consider becoming an actor.” She said mockingly.

Situ Yan suddenly grabbed her hand with his large palm.

Xia Xiaonuan struggled, ”What are you doing!”

The warm and strong hand guided hers, placing her palm over his heart.

”Xiaonuan... can you feel the heartbeat inside?”

Xia Xiaonuan felt his erratic heartbeat pounding against her palm, feeling strange.

Her expression changed, and she unceremoniously retorted, ”Nonsense, if it wasn’t beating, you’d be dead.”

Situ Yan looked at her seriously, ”Xiaonuan...”

Xia Xiaonuan frowned, ”Can you not call me that with that tone...” It feels strange.

Her face flushed slightly.

Seeing her pure face with a hint of blush, Situ Yan awkwardly lowered his head.

He suddenly felt something stirring within him. The next second, with a powerful tug, his large hand pulled her closer.

Xia Xiaonuan exclaimed in surprise, but before she knew it, he had bent down, with one hand gripping her head.

His lips landed on hers.

Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes widened. He kissed her forcefully, his strong tongue prying open her teeth and invading her mouth.

Xia Xiaonuan was stunned for a few seconds, then reacted and struggled desperately.

She clawed at his back frantically.

Situ Yan, with his immense strength, held her head firmly, giving her no room to escape.

Her fingers tugged at his coat, pounding on him wildly.

He was completely unmoved, kissing her madly like a lunatic.

Xia Xiaonuan was completely thrown off by his kiss. This was a public street; if anyone she knew saw this, she’d be done for.

Situ Yan, this lunatic. She tried to bite him, but he was too sharp, never letting her get a chance.

Everywhere was filled with his scent, unfamiliar yet slightly familiar.
