The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 636: Chapter 638: I Want to Save Shaochen

Xia Xiaonuan froze completely.

”Are you really going to abort this child?” she frowned. ”This isn’t a small matter, you... you should reconsider.”

Nangong Zhongli lowered her head, stirring the cup of coffee in front of her absentmindedly.

”I understand, this is a small life, but... I can’t keep him. He shouldn’t have come into this world in the first place!”

”Shouldn’t you discuss this with Qin Yi? After all, he is the child’s father, he should take responsibility for this...”

”I don’t need him to take responsibility!” Nangong Zhongli suddenly got emotional, biting her lip angrily. ”I don’t want anything to do with that bastard anymore! Xiaonuan... I’m begging you, don’t tell him, and don’t tell my brother or Shaochen, alright?”

Xia Xiaonuan: ”Alright. But, I have to prepare for a press conference tomorrow, I can accompany you in a few days, is that okay?”

”Okay...” The two chatted for a while longer before Nangong Zhongli’s phone rang.

”Hello... Liao Ping, what’s up? What? Still no news? Okay, got it...”

Nangong Zhongli hung up the phone, her face extremely grim.

Xia Xiaonuan had an inkling of what it might be, but still forced herself to ask, ”What happened?”

Nangong Zhongli said, ”Shaochen’s assistant Liao Ping called me, he said Shaochen has gone missing, it’s been two days of no contact!”

Xia Xiaonuan’s heart sank slightly.

”Xiaonuan, Liao Ping said Shaochen also went to Thailand, did you and my brother run into him there?”

Xia Xiaonuan clenched her lowered hand into a fist, hesitating about how to explain this to Zhongli.

But the next second, Nangong Zhongli had already stood up.

”No, I have to go to Thailand, I’m worried something might happen to Shaochen!”

”Zhongli!” Xiao Nuan stepped forward to hold her back: ”You can’t run around like this! Your body won’t be able to take it!”

”But... there’s no time for that!” Nangong Zhongli said urgently. She then noticed Xia Xiaonuan’s odd expression.

An inkling of suspicion flashed through her eyes.

She grabbed Xia Xiaonuan’s hand: ”Xiaonuan, do you know something? Do you really not know where Shaochen is?”

Xia Xiaonuan bit her lower lip: ”Actually... actually, he’s been locked up by Nangong Yaoling...”

”What!?” Nangong Zhongli’s eyes widened: ”Why would my brother do that? Oh...” Nangong Zhongli thought for a moment and then grabbed Xia Xiaonuan suddenly enlightened: ”Did Shaochen remember something? He got into a conflict with my brother over Qiqi, right?”

Xia Xiaonuan hesitated.

She gritted her teeth and nodded.

It was indeed because of Qiqi... but Zhongli didn’t know, she was Qiqi!

Xia Xiaonuan felt very uncomfortable, wanting to tell Nangong Zhongli the truth but lacking the courage.

She suddenly felt like a bad woman, like a sinner in front of Nangong Zhongli. Especially since Zhongli trusted her so much.

Nangong Zhongli clenched her fists in anger.

”Damn Jiang Xue! It’s all because of that bitch! I will never forgive her!” She said, grabbing her bag: ”No, I have to go to my brother to ask for him! Xiaonuan, I’m leaving first! You can take a cab back yourself...”

Nangong Zhongli finished speaking and turned to walk outside.

”Zhongli—!” Xiaonuan chased after her, but she had already stepped out and got into a white Maserati sports car. The car sped away in an instant.
