New Age Of Summoners

In this world, reviving others is considered the most powerful ability because, with it, one can fight others without worrying about death.

Moreover, when one was overpowered, then he could go all out and even explode one’s own body to kill the enemies before reviving back to life.

Right now, the young human in front of him could revive not one, or two but three re-cultivated contracted spirit beasts.

Hence, Aveline could not help but wonder about Ajax’s background and how he got that ability.

”I am your death.”

[Celestial Void Step]

’Swoosh’

As soon as he finished his words, Ajax used his movement skill and appeared right before Aveline.

[Purgatory’s Embrace]

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax activated one of his official skills.

’What?’

Aveline was still surprised by Ajax’s revival skill and he was a little late in reacting to Ajax’s sudden appearance in front of him.

Before he knew what was happening, Aveline was trapped in an inescapable ring of hellish fire.

’What’s happening…aragh.’

It was because Ajax’s bloodline was still active that the attack power from his official skill reached the next level, making even Aveline, a powerful ruler of the Floating Island, unable to escape the hellish fire.

As for the hellish fire, it scorched Aveline’s wings as he struggled to escape from it.

”How is it? Are you enjoying it?”

Looking at the struggling Aveline, Ajax asked with a slight smile on his face.

If Ajax wanted to kill Aveline, he would have done it the moment he saw him; however, Ajax intended to see Avelin in pain and that’s the only thing that would complete his revenge.

First, Ajax successfully destroyed Aveline’s normal and special army and now, it was finally time for Aveline to go through some pain.

Thus, Ajax executed it.

”Aargh…Divine Fire Rule, activate.”

Since he was experiencing hellish flames, Aveline knew the one way for him to escape from it was by activating the Divine Fire Rule.

’Swoosh’

As soon as Aveline activated the Divine Fire Rule, his body released golden-coloured flames and they slowly transformed into his wings.

’Screech’

’Swoosh’

There was a loud screech as Aveline soon started flying in circles.

’Aargh…Damn it…these flames are more powerful than my golden flames.’

Even though Aveline activated his Divine Flame Rule and did everything in his power to resist the hellish flames, he could still feel the pain.

What’s more, the hellish flames were not just scorching his body but the Bestial Spirit Consciousness in his body was also rapidly depleting of the Essence of Nature.

’Damn it…these flames were definitely normal just like that brat. I need to escape from it as quickly as possible.’

Aveline became anxious as he increased his speed and circled.

’Swoosh’

’Swoosh’

As he completed each circle, his golden wings left behind a line of golden flames and soon, it became a tornado of Golden Flames.

’Phew.’

Once Aveline completed the tornado of Golden Flames, he heaved a sigh of relief and then looked at Ajax with mixed emotions.

’The other party’s three main forces…if they activate their Divine Rules and attack me together, there is no way I am going to survive.’

Aveline looked at Raweth, Sparrow and Twilight as he continued to silently think in his head, ’Also, there is that brat, who is yet to activate his Divine Rules.’

Even though Aveline had two more Divine Rules other than the Divine Fire Rule, he was no longer confident in winning against Ajax.

His earlier confidence, and greed for the Metal Region, had long disappeared when his Special Army was killed and his opponent’s main forces were revived.

’Should I just give in and surrender to him?’

Suddenly, Aveline thought that he should just surrender to Ajax.

Even though Aveline is a proud eagle man, when it comes to his life, he wants to survive because only by surviving, one could achieve something in their life.

If dead, other than bones nothing will be left. And with time, even bones turn to dust.

Moreover, it was a physical duel and not a duel hosted by the Spirit of the Floating Island.

If it was that, even if Aveline begged Ajax to leave him, the Spirit of the Floating Island would kill the loser of the fight.

In a way, Aveline felt thankful that Ajax chose to attack him physically; instead of issuing a challenge using his Rulership Authority.

”Human, as long as you do not kill me, I will tell you the secret about the Floating Island.”

Although he decided to surrender, it was not an easy thing for Aveline as he gritted his teeth and tried to make a deal in exchange for a secret of the Floating Island.

”Of course, I will give you this region and even turn to your subordinate.”

Before Ajax could say anything, Aveline added a few more things in exchange for his life with a heavy heart; however, Aveline became sure that Ajax would definitely let him live.

Who could let go of a powerful subordinate?

Even though it was quite humiliating for Aveline, he stole his heart and decided to bear that humiliation while waiting for an opportunity to take care of Ajax once and for all.

”A secret about the Floating Island? Leaving this Fire Region to me? And you will even become my subordinate?”

Seeing that Aveline had escaped from the Purgatory’s Embrace, Ajax was about to go to the next step of his plan to torture Aveline.

However, he didn’t expect Aveline to give up on the fight and even decided to become his subordinate.

”Yes. I am willing to do all that as long as you don’t kill me.”

Aveline nodded his head as he heaved a sigh of relief thinking Ajax would accept the deal.

”If it was not for the incident in the past, I might have accepted that deal; however, currently, I am not interested in that deal.”

[Divine Dark Rule]

As soon as he finished his reply, Ajax activated his Divine Dark Rule and revealed an evil smile, ”Shall I start my true revenge now?”
