New Age Of Summoners

As the oldest ruler of the Floating Island, Aveline had long dreamt of having another region under his control and he indirectly tried to take the other regions; however, the rulers of the other regions were not easy to deal with.

Thus, his dream was left like a dream, making Avelin risk a bit to get his hands on another region.

At first, he thought of taking over the Metal Region because it was believed that the rulers of the Metal Region were the weakest.

However, not only Aveline but the remaining rulers of the Floating Island learned that these eight rulers of the Metal Region were the strongest ones among all the rulers when they worked together.

Thus, Aveline changed his target from the Metal Region to the Water Region which was next to the Fire Region and the next weakest region in the Floating Island.

From then, the enmity between the Fire Region and the Water Region has begun.

However, to Aveline’s surprise, his region was being invaded by the new ruler and soon, his greedy nature surfaced as he decided to go all out against the new ruler and get his region first.

’With another region under my control, I can get more resources and subordinates to recruit. With new subordinates, I can increase my army and kill those blood-sucking monsters from the Water Region.’

Just thinking about it made Aveline excited.

”Didn’t you recognize me?”

Ajax didn’t bother to answer Aveline’s question; instead, he asked Aveline a question.

”Recognize you? Who are you?”

Aveline raised his brows hearing Ajax’s words and tried to figure out what Ajax meant by those words.

”Sigh…it looks like you have already forgotten the death of your son.”

Ajax took a long sigh as he explained, ”A month back…not for you, it must be 50 years ago, a human killed your son and you have sent your huge army to search for the killer…is it enough to jog your memory?”

After saying a few words, Ajax asked Aveline whether he remembered something.

For Ajax, the incident where Snow was killed and later, killed the Golden-winged young man has only been less than two months; however, for Aveline who was living inside the Floating Island, that incident happened over 50 years ago.

Aveline had already forgotten about his son and moved on from it to his dream of conquering another region in the Floating Island.

Of course, in the meanwhile, Aveline had other children who had already grown big; however, their cultivation was not significant enough to join him in his today’s battle.

”Y-you are the one who killed my son?”

Aveline didn’t become furious; instead, he only frowned his brows as he replied to Ajax, ”The killer of my son will have a scent on him; however, you don’t have that scent on you.”

”Scent?”

Ajax shook his head and said, ”Whatever, I said what I have to say and as for whether you believe it or not, it’s your wish.”

The reason Ajax said those words was because he wanted to make Aveline furious; however, he felt that he had failed in it.

Thus, Ajax didn’t bother to stress on that topic and said, ”Let’s fight.”

”It doesn’t matter whether you killed my son or not, today, I am going to kill you and take your Metal Region.”

Compared to his son who was dead 50 years later, Aveline gave more importance to his goal of conquering another region in the Floating Island.

Thus, he was also ready to fight Ajax.

”Shall we fight one versus one or should we let our armies fight first?”

Even after agreeing to Ajax for a fight, Aveline didn’t make any moves; instead, he asked Ajax something.

”I am ready for anything. What about you?”

Ajax wanted to tear apart the army flying behind Aveline and hearing Aveline’s words, Ajax got a really good idea.

By killing Aveline’s army right in front of him, it would give a sense of meaning to Ajax’s revenge.

”I am very proud of my army and I think you are also proud of your army too. I would very much like to see whose army is stronger. What do you say?”

Aveline didn’t think much as he suggested their armies fight.

”Sure.”

As for Ajax, he also didn’t think much because he was also very much proud and confident in his army.

Thus, he agreed to Aveline’s suggestion.

”You heard him. What are you waiting for? Show your strength and kill his entire army of Contracted Spirit Beasts and the Elemental Spirits.”

As soon as Ajax agreed, Aveline didn’t waste any time as he ordered his army of Silver-Winged Men, Fire Hagravens, and other winged humanoid monsters.

’Raweth and Sparrow, you lead the Contracted Spirit Beasts except for Twilight.’

’Twilight, there are no rules for you…just go berserk and wipe out as many opponents as possible.’

On the other hand, Ajax was calm but he was silently giving commands to his Contracted Spirit Beasts to follow Raweth and Sparrow except for Twilight.

As for Twilight, he was given full permission to go all out today.

’Yes, master.’

All the contracted spirit beasts nodded their heads before Raweth and Sparrow took the lead to fight the incoming Aveline’s army.

’Roar’

The cute young boy beside Ajax transformed into a huge Divine Dragon and roared at the incoming bird army.

’Shook’

Just a roar from Twilight shook the entire army a little; however, they recovered quickly and rushed at the dragon before their master could scold them.

’All Fire, Water, Wind, Earth and Metal Elemental Spirits form into five different times and attack.’

’As for the remaining Elemental Spirits, depending on the situation, change your role from supporting to attacking and vice versa.’

After giving orders to the Contracted Spirit Beasts, Ajax did the same with the Elemental Spirits.

’Yes, Summoning Master.’

Except for 20 plus Elemental Spirits, for the remaining Elemental Spirits, it was their fight time fighting for Ajax. Moreover, their cultivation rapidly increased after forming the contract with their Summoning Master.

Thus, they were very excited about the fight.

Soon, the fight between the two armies had officially begun.
