New Age Of Summoners

”Harbinger of Destruction bids 1.01 billion trader’s tokens.”

As soon as Ajax got the confirmation regarding the Heavenly Lion King’s character, he didn’t waste any time as he directly raised the bid by 10 million trader’s tokens.

”Ajax, I only have one billion trader’s tokens. Why did you raise a bid? Do you have the 10 million trader’s token?”

Zaglanath was calm until now; however, he frowned when he heard Ajax raise the bid.

Actually, the thing is, Zaglanath only has 900 million trader’s tokens in his account and with the remaining 100 million trader’s tokens, he thought he could sell an item that he was planning to see for a while.

He was sure that he would barely get 100 million trader’s tokens. So, he felt a little complicated to bid more than one billion trader’s tokens as he didn’t want to sell the other items to him because he needed them.

”I have 100 million trader’s tokens. Let’s pool our funds together.”

Ajax assured Zaglanath that he had enough funds to buy the Elemental Spirit Slave.

”Oh.”

Zaglanath nodded his head.

”Another new trader has raised a bid. There are so many hidden black horses in today’s auction.”

The beautiful succubus didn’t expect the price to increase after reaching one billion trader’s tokens. So, when she heard Ajax’s bid, she revealed an excited smile.

”1.01 Million trader’s tokens….once…twice…”

Suddenly, Zaglanath raised the bid of ”1.02 billion trader’s tokens.”

It surprised everyone in the auction house; however, compared to them, Ajax was the one more shocked.

’What? Why is he raising the bid?’

Ajax was confused as he didn’t understand why Zaglanath wanted to raise the price; however, he didn’t raise the price.

’As long as the Elemental Spirit Slave is freed from the spirit mark in his body, it is enough for him.’

For Ajax, it didn’t want how bought the elemental spirit slave between him and Zaglanath as he only cared about removing the contract inside the elemental spirit before sending him back to the elemental spirit world.

”1.02 Million trader’s tokens….once…twice and thrice.”

The beautiful succubus was having an ear-to-ear smile as he called Zaglanath’s price three times before ending the auction for the Elemental Spirit Slave.

”Trader Zaglanath gets the first item of today’s auction.”

After announcing that, the beautiful succubus didn’t wait for anything as she continued to auction off the next items in the auction.

”I need to spend money to ascend to the high-level trader’s realm.”

On the other hand, Zaglanath explained the reason why he bid against Ajax.

Even though they might be Elemental Spirit Slave, Zaglanath’s main goal for entering today’s auction would have been in vain if Ajax buys the Elemental Spirit Slave.

If he wanted to ascend to the high-level trader’s realm, then the spending should be from his account. It was as simple as that and since Ajax had 100 million trader’s tokens, Zaglanath didn’t mind spending another 10 million trader’s tokens.

”Transfer me 20 million trader’s tokens. I will go and finish the payment.”

Since he didn’t have any money left to buy the other items in the auction house, Zaglanath decided to finish the payment.

Of course, he didn’t forget to take 20 million trader’s tokens from Ajax before leaving his seat.

”I hope there will be a good but cheap item in the next nine items.”

After transferring 20 million trader’s tokens to Zaglanath, Ajax focused on the auction; however, he was unable to buy them.

They would be either too costly or cheap but completely useless for him.

Moreover, even though there were a couple of costly items that Ajax was interested in, he was not willing to sacrifice his normal world cores for those items.

’It looks like there is no plant essence in the auction today.’

What Ajax was really hoping for in the auction was the appearance of the plant essence; however, his luck was not good.

Time continued to pass as the tenth and the last item of the auction had finally arrived, making everyone in the auction house curious and excited.

”The final item of today’s auction is from the famous World Conquering Sect.”

The beautiful succubus didn’t reveal the item; instead, she revealed the information about the seller of the item.

”What? Word Conquering Sect?”

”Are they finally back?”

”How many years has it been?”

”I think I already know what the final item of the auction is.”

”I know it too.”

Once they knew who the seller was, all the participants knew what the final item was and everyone became excited.

”I wonder whether they will resume their business consistently or not this time around.”

Everyone wondered only one thing whether the World Conquering Sect could sell the world cores consistently or not.

’What? Is this the same World Conquering Sect that sells the world cores?’

Unlike everyone, Ajax frowned a little as he became slightly anxious.

Who would like competition in a monopoly business? If there is another seller for the world cores, Ajax had to sell the world cores at a cheaper price to attract his customers.

’Whatever. Since I have already made a long-term contract with some cultivators, there is no need to worry.’

According to the contract, Ajax had to give them at least one world core per month and the total quantity of the world cores should be 12, meaning he could trade with them for a year.

Whereas he could trade with the five elemental human emperors for another five years instead of one year.

Therefore, Ajax didn’t have to worry much because he was not going to sell the world cores forever.

He just needed to raise some funds to buy the plant essence and battleships to travel to other worlds and some other rare treasures that might catch his eyes in the future.

”The final item of the auction is none other than the World Conquering Sect’s signature item, a World Core and the grade of the core is Normal Grade. The starting price is 300 million trader’s tokens.”
