New Age Of Summoners

’I should have controlled my mouth.’

Zaglanath bitterly smiled as he didn’t expect Ajax to ask for something that is going to be very expensive.

In the entire universe, only humans were given the ability to naturally become summoners and the other races were jealous of that ability.

By forming contracts with different elemental spirits, humans could have different abilities. Moreover, with enough time and resources, every single elemental spirit of a summoner would become a huge asset.

However, there were some natural treasures like Summoner stones and other things that would let the members of the non-human races become the summoners.

Nevertheless, it was almost impossible to find them and every time such an item appeared in the auction house, there would be crazy bidding for it, eventually, it would end up in the hands of a rich and powerful cultivator.

Since such items were rare, the cultivators were very interested in directly buying the elemental spirits that were captured from the elemental spirit world using special methods.

It was not rare and at the same time, it was not cheap since the Golden Demon Emperor sold dozens of them in every auction.

Moreover, it is very easy and convenient as the buyer didn’t have to do any extra work after buying as the

Therefore, the value of an Elemental spirit slave was very costly among the non-human races.

’Moreover, this elemental spirit slave has the cultivation of an emperor realm. So, without a doubt, the bidding for the elemental spirit would skyrocket.’

Zaglanath could easily tell it would be very hard to buy the elemental spirit slave.

’Let it be. I don’t have much use for the trader’s tokens anyway. I will just try bidding with everything I have on me right now.’

Since Ajax was the disciple of the Bloodline Emperor Mostror, the second person he respect and idolize after his master the Demon Executioneer Aaron Alpineswift, Zaglanath decided to bid for the Elemental Spirit Slave.

The reason why he visited the auction house was to buy something and increase his trader’s rank so that he could ascend to the high-level trader’s realm.

Therefore, Zaglanath decided to give it a try; however, he was not sure whether he could buy it or not.

’I need to free it at any cost.’

Seeing the elemental spirit, Ajax naturally sympathized.

From the moment he learned about the elemental spirits from Elder Boron, Ajax had a soft corner for the elemental spirits.

To venture into the outside world or even to start their cultivation, the elemental spirits have to form a contract with the humans. After that, they have to follow every order given by the summoner whether they like it or not.

What’s crueller is that when a summoner dies, his unofficial elemental spirits will die whereas the official elemental spirits would be seriously injured.

’It would be a little  better if the summoner is good; however, if a summoner doesn’t care about the elemental spirits and mistreats them, it would be even worse.’

Ajax muttered as he looked at the green-coloured elemental spirit slave in the cage and continued thinking, ’The official and unofficial elemental spirits might dissolve the summoner’s spirit mark when they become powerful; however, the elemental spirit slaves like him will not have any choice to escape their fate.’

As he thought about the life of the elemental spirits, Ajax could not help but his determination to free the elemental spirit increased.

”The starting price of this Life elemental spirit slave is 10 million trader’s tokens with an increment of one million trader’s tokens.”

The succubus didn’t give much information about the life elemental spirit slave as she stated the starting price.

”100 Million trader’s tokens.”

A voice came from the special chamber, instantly raising the price to 100 million trader’s tokens.

’Huh? Why is this voice familiar?’

Ajax felt that voice was familiar and soon, he realized who the owner of the voice was.

”As usual, the first bid of the first item is from the Blood Vampire King.”

The succubus revealed the owner of the voice as she asked, ”Is there anyone who is willing to pay more than that?”

’What? The Blood Vampire King? And the price is already 100 million trader’s tokens.’

Ajax was a little surprised to see the Blood Vampire King; however, when he thought about how rich the blood vampire king was, he was not surprised.

However, what shocked him the most was the Blood Vampire King’s bid of 100 million trader’s tokens.

’After forming the deal with eight cultivators, I made 100 million trader’s tokens and the Blood Vampire King increased that much in a single bid.’

Ajax could not help but bitterly smile as he looked at the special chamber.

”110 Million Trader’s tokens.”

It was Zaglanath who raised the bid and surprised Ajax.

Even though Ajax believed that Zaglanath would buy him an item, after hearing the price of the Blood Vampire King’s bidding price, Ajax felt Zaglanath would not bid for the Elemental Spirit anymore.

110 million trader’s tokens was a huge amount for the low-level traders; however, that doesn’t mean it was a small amount for the mid-level traders.

”Shard Goliath Leader bids 120 million trader’s tokens.”

”Infernal Hawk King bids 130 million trader’s tokens.”

.

.

.

”Storm Naga Queen bids 480 million trader’s tokens.”

One cultivator after another started bidding for the item. Some of them were special cultivators whereas the remaining few were sitting in normal seats.

From the looks of its no one wants to back down and give their all to bid for the Elemental Spirit Slave.

”Blood Vampire King bids 500 million trader’s tokens and if anyone bids higher than that I will gladly stop bidding.”

Just like before, the Blood Vampire King informed other cultivators that he would not entertain them further if anyone bids higher than 500 million trader’s tokens.

’It looks like I have to bid using the Normal World Core.’

Ajax silently thought in his head and was about to bid when he heard Zaglanath raise the bid with a nonchalant look on his face.

”510 million trader’s tokens.”
