New Age Of Summoners

”Grandpa, looks like things will be much easier for us with the fifth round of the contest.”

After learning about the invasion time, Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he informed Elder Boron about it.

”Good.”

Elder Boron nodded his head as he replied, “There will be no changes in our plan. I will go now to arrange the things with the contest and inform the protectors of the world.”

Elder Boron has a positive opinion on the protectors of the Purple stone world and he knew he could make use of them for the demon invasion.

Stopping the invasions from the other races is the true objective of their title. So, Elder Boron knew they would not complain when it came to stopping the demon invasion.

As for the other cultivators, they were bound to join the fight when the invasion was huge.

”Okay. We will join you when the fifth round starts.”

Ajax nodded his head as he knew there would be things for Elder Boron to take care of if they want to stop the demon invasion.

Moreover, Elder Boron decided to add that demon invasion as the fifth round for the contest. So, of course, he had to take care of so many things.

…..

In one of the special quarters.

”Cain, did you recover your complete strength?”

The assassin sect leader, Oliver, asked his son about his recovery.

Earlier, everyone thought Cain died in the secret realm; however, they were surprised to see him alive and well in the fourth round.

What’s more, he even won both fights in the fourth round with less than half of his original strength that he recovered.

”Thanks to Ancestor, I was able to recover completely.”

Cain no longer looked pale and weak; instead, he was filled with a lot of vitality as he replied to his father with a slight smile on his face.

”Good. Can I talk to the ancestor for a while?”

Oliver was happy that his son recovered his complete strength and asked whether he could talk with the ancestor of the assassin sect.

”Okay.”

All of a sudden, Cain’s eyes turned pitch black and a dense black smoke surrounded Cain’s body as he spoke in an eerie tone, “I also have something to talk with you.”

”Ancestor.”

As soon as he saw the pitch black eyes of his son, Oliver was no longer calm and composed; instead, he was shivering and shaking a little as he politely bowed to show his respects.

”Did you prepare the goods?”

Ancestor, who recently took over Cain asked Oliver about some goods.

”Everything is prepared, Ancestor. As soon as the contest is over, you can ha…”

”Okay.”

Before Oliver could finish his words, Ancestor interrupted him with a nod as he asked, “The demon invasion will begin in two hours. So, look for an opportunity to kill as many demons as possible.”

”Huh?”

Oliver was a little confused as he asked, “We and the demons are not enemies, right? So, is there a reason for unnecessarily killing them?”

Oliver already knew that their assassin sect’s ancestor is a follower of one of the demon emperors. So, he felt killing their allies would be just a waste of energy.

”Idiot. How did you become the sect leader with that head of yours?”

If anyone heard that they would have been shocked because in their eyes, Cain was the one who was scolding his father.

However, it was the ancestor who was scolding Oliver for his lack of intelligence.

’…’

Oliver remained silent as he knew if he spoke anything, he would get scolded even more.

”Since you are not as intelligent as any of the sect leaders of the assassin sect, I will tell you something interesting.”

Ancestor revealed an evil smile on his face as he continued, “The true motive of this invasion was not to destroy the Purple stone world; instead, the demon emperor wants the assassin sect to take full control of the Purple stone world at any cost.”

”What?”

Oliver was surprised for a moment; however, when he thought about it, he was no longer surprised.

Because, rather than destroying a normal world, it would be good to have it under their control. As long as the assassin sect controls the Purple stone worlds, it means the demons are practically owning the world.

”Yes. Even though the Purple stone world is just a weak normal world, all the powerful cultivators from the greater human worlds were looking for something in this world. So, owning this world will open a great path for our assassin sect to venture other greater worlds.”

Ancestor was looking forward to the day where his assassin sect would be established in the greater worlds.

”I heard you mention that artifact in the past, ancestor.”

Oliver nodded his head as he recalled the artifact where the ancestor was desperately searching for in the Zrochester province and other provinces.

”No. I am not talking about the artifact. I am talking about the artifact that was much better than the artifact I searched for in the past.”

Ancestor closed his eyes as he called the features of the artifact; however, he was unable to remember much about it.

”Damn it…there is something wrong with my memories whenever I think about the artifact.”

Ancestor was frustrated as he wanted to destroy something; however, he controlled his urge.

”I think it is related to your physical body. Once you recover your physical body, you might remember it.”

Oliver didn’t know much about those things; however, he was not completely ignorant about them either.

”By the way, ancestor, King Stephen requested to meet up with Cain as he…”

”Reject it.”

Before Oliver could finish his words, Ancestor asked him to reject.

”I already rejected.”

Oliver nodded his head as he continued, “However, he said it is related to the Protector of the skies and he also mentioned ‘ancestor’ in his lines. I think he knows about you.”

’Who is inside him?’

Ancestor raised his brows for a moment as he revealed a slight smile on his face.
