New Age Of Summoners

If the child of the previous emperor was alive, then King Stephen’s goal of becoming the emperor of the Purple stone world would be ruined.

’Not only that child has emperor realm cultivators as his parents but he also has the help of some mysterious artifact. Will that child become an obstacle for me?’

King Stephen already guessed that child would become an obstacle for him; however, he wanted to hear his master’s thoughts about that child.

’You don’t need to worry about that child because while I was fighting Protector of the skies, the child’s mental sea was destroyed.’

However, King Stephen’s master doesn’t’ seem like he was worried much about Emperor Vaugh’s son as he continued, ‘Even if he got the cultivation talent of his parents, the maximum cultivation realm he could reach in his life will be peak level 10 elite general.’

The cultivation in this world could be divided into two parts. One is before reaching King realm whereas the other one would be after reaching King realm.

Before reaching the king realm, a cultivator would completely focus on his spirit consciousness; however, to reach the king realm, they need to unlock their mental sea where their cultivator’s soul could be stored.

So, with a broken mental sea, it would be impossible for a cultivator to become a King realm cultivator as there would be no place for him or her to store their cultivator’s soul.

’What? You damaged the mental sea of that child?’

King Stephen was surprised as he had an unbelievable look on his face.

Even though it sounded very simple, destroying or damaging the mental sea of a cultivator is very difficult unless you have strong soul attacks.

’Actually, it was not intentional as it happened while I was busy fighting Protector of the skies.’

Lord of water didn’t take pride in hurting the mental sea of the child; however, at the same time, he didn’t regret it as he found some pleasure in hurting someone close to Emperor Vaugh before his body was destroyed by him.

’Oh. Is that so?’

King Stephen was excited as he already started walking a path that most cultivators were not fond of. So, he didn’t feel sad about that child at all.

’Anyway, I sensed another guardian for a brief moment. Do you want to meet him?’

As they continued to talk about Emperor Vaugh and the events from the past, the Lord of water informed King Stephen something unexpected.

’Really? Who is it?’

King Stephen remembered the promise his master made to him where he would help him learn the signature technique and combat styles from the other guardians except for the Protector of skies, of course.

’Patriarch of Nightmares, also known as the Ancestor of the assassin sect.’

Stephen’s master replied without wasting any time as he explained the problem, ‘However, I only sensed his presence for a moment from one of the participants promoted to the final round.’

’What?’

Once again King Stephen worried because if other guardians have their own personal disciples, they might not be willing to teach their signature techniques to the disciples of other guardians that easily.

’Stop worrying about such things. Leave such matters to me, your invincible master.’

Lord of water bragged about his capabilities and asked King Stephen to not worry much about it.

’Okay, master. But, how are you going to find in whose body that guardian ‘Patriarch of Nightmares’ is staying?’

King Stephen knew that he could trust his master despite the fact his master is not truly invincible. So, he asked how he wqas going to find who is hosting ‘Patriarch of Nightmares’.

’It is very easy to find. Anyway, for now, just relax as the final round of the contest will start at any moment now.’

’Okay’

King Stephen nodded his head as he was looking forward to the final stage while thinking about his future.

At the same time, he didn’t forget about his daughter and how to use her for his future.

Because Elder Boron was protecting her, King Stephen was unable to talk to his daughter as she didn’t want to talk. Soo, all he could do right now was grit his teeth and think of a way to talk to his daughter.

….

Time continued to pass and in a flash another few hours passed by.

An announcement was made regarding the contest’s final round.

”Swoosh”

Soon, the colosseum was filled with cultivators as they settled in their places without wasting much time.

”Everyone, are you ready for the final round of the contest?”

The old minister resumed his usual place as he looked at all the onlookers and the 15 participants, asking whether they were ready for the final round.

”Yes.”

Everyone nodded their heads as he could not wait to see what the final round of the contest was about.

”The final round of the contest is completely different from what it used to be from the previous contests.”

The old man looked at Elder Boron for a moment as he continued, “The arena for the final round is the entire Ylercester province; however, it will start from the center of the Colosseum.”

’Huh?’

Everyone raised their brows except for Ajax and his three friends, Jason, Hector and Damon.

”According to the intel received by our guardian ‘Protector of the skies’ and the three protectors, the demon race will invade the Ylerecester province in an hour. So, these 15 participants will be responsible to stop the demon invasion and protecting the Ylercester province.”

The old minister hesitated a little before informing everyone about the demon invasion.

’What?’

’Demon invasion?’

’15 young cultivators are responsible for stopping the demon invasion? Isn’t that too much for them?’

’Hey, why are you worrying too much about it? Don’t forget 70 percent of the strongest cultivators in the Purple stone world are gathered here. It is the safest place in this world right now.’

The onlookers has their own whispers and discussions as they looked at Elder Boron who removed his face mask.
