Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go

Her hand softly rested on the one around her waist, carefully lifting it away. She tried her best to be cautious, not to wake him. He was sleeping so soundly now; she really had no reason to disturb him.

She picked up a soft pillow and placed it in his arms for him to hold, and then she tiptoed out of bed, picked up her clothes, and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When she came out, she passed by the bedside. She dared not return to the bed now. After tucking him in, she went to the sofa at the foot of the bed and lay down to sleep. Now that she had taken a bath, her whole body felt much more comfortable, allowing her to sleep soundly.

In the morning, when shafts of sunlight streamed in, she felt a strong glare that was quite dazzling, so she frowned and turned around to find a dimmer place to drift back into sleep.

But soon, a tingling sensation spread from her neck to her whole body. She found this feeling very familiar, so familiar it startled her into giving an involuntary shiver, and she suddenly opened her eyes wide.

What appeared before her were the zoomed-in handsome features of Beitang Yao, with a hint of mischief in his eyes, his body bare.

”Good morning...” Xia Qingqian was stunned, unable to react, staring blankly at him as she spoke.

”Morning.” He gave her a light glance, then looked down at her and asked, ”When did you fall asleep here?”

If you looked closely, you could see a hint of anger in his eyes. Actually, you could also hear his displeasure in his voice.

As he spoke, he reached out and pulled her into his arms, kissing her forehead. ”When did you take a bath?” Her body, other than her natural scent, also carried the fragrance of a bath, but not the smell after lovemaking.

After the late hours of last night, he was truly exhausted and had fallen asleep holding her. He didn’t even know when she woke up, let alone when she moved to the sofa to sleep.

”I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling sticky and uncomfortable, so I got up to take a bath,” she explained.

”Then why, after washing, did you not sleep in the bed but here instead?” His kisses had already reached her lips, his cold eyes staring at her unblinkingly.

Suddenly, she recalled how peacefully he slept last night. She had never seen him sleep so soundly and calmly, and she really didn’t have the heart to return to bed and wake him. ”I was afraid my movements would wake you.”

If she lay down, he would definitely sense it. If he woke up, she wouldn’t be able to escape, and it would disrupt his rest.

She was only wearing a silk camisole nightdress, which made his heart race! The material of the nightdress was scant and silky, making it unbearable for him!

After the intense battle last night and some rest, he was even more invigorated when he woke up in the morning. When he reached out to the side and found emptiness, he felt a moment of anger! Not seeing anyone early in the morning! It was really an unpleasant thought!

But when he got up and saw that little woman lying on the sofa at the foot of the bed, her petite body slightly curled up asleep, he bent over her and scrutinized her for a long time. The little woman’s skin was snow-white and tender, her cheek pristine and unblemished, silky smooth, prompting a surge of passion within him!

”I’m telling you, now you’ve made me feel uncomfortable all over. What do you think we should do about this?” His gaze locked intensely on her body, from her neck all the way down to her feet.
