Cultivation: Starting from a Mortal Bone

Never has a lady been pregnant!

And with the Empress, it’s only been less than ten days, how could this happen?

Qin Yu didn’t notice the Empress’s deep eyes growing heavy with a trace of solemnity.

Immediately, she focused inwardly, examining the situation within her body.

Good news?

This is impossible!

This fellow has so many Dao Companions, and this situation has never occurred.

This is one of the reasons why the Empress was able to feel at ease.

Originally, she could use tribulations to soothe herself, but if a good event truly occurs, how would she face Little Ling’Er, how would she face the Empress Dowager?!

The Empress doesn’t even dare to imagine them knowing, that she is carrying Qin Yu’s child...

Little Ling’Er and the Empress Dowager’s expressions would be like what?!

Soon, the Empress found, her lower abdomen was flat, without any abnormal discomfort.

Could it be that she overthought it?

The Empress’s brow slightly furrowed, her mind sinking into her body, and then her eyes narrowed.

Right at the position of her abdomen, there was a hazy mass of gas she intended to explore, but was astonished to find that the gas within her body, she couldn’t discern its reality or fantasy?!

What is this stuff?

The Empress didn’t even know when this gas was born within her body.

It doesn’t seem to be a warm current.

Although she couldn’t discern it, it seemed as if she had a telepathic bond with it, as if she sensed something, being born within that hazy gas.

Could it be... truly pregnant?!

Even the Empress can no longer remain calm.

Her body trembled slightly.

In that instant, countless thoughts flashed across her mind.

What should be done?

If indeed pregnant, returning to the Imperial Palace, there is surely no escaping the sharp eyes of the Empress Dowager.

That’s certain.

After all, it’s the Empress Dowager’s Innate Divine Techniques.

Then perhaps...

As soon as that thought arose, the Empress dismissed it. She furrowed her brow, as an Emperor, she surprisingly found herself uncertain of what decision to make.

Reason told her, to keep it secret by going unnoticed, there is only one way.

But she still couldn’t bear it.

After all, it could be her... child?

She is not truly indifferent or heartless.

This can be seen in her treatment towards Ling’Er and the Empress Dowager.

The strong demeanor she embodies is for outsiders.

The Empress’s inner thoughts were complex; originally, as long as this tribulation passed, she kept silent, Qin Yu surely wouldn’t dare to randomly speak.

Naturally, it could be concealed as if none of this ever happened.

After all, little Qin Yu, would he dare to force her?

But now the situation is different...

”Your Majesty, Your Majesty, what’s wrong with you?”

Seeing that the Empress hadn’t reacted for a long time, Qin Yu was a little worried, gently holding her fragrant shoulder, wanting to let her lean into his embrace, but unexpectedly, her body stiffened, and she did not comply.

Hmm?

This... seemed a bit off?

Could it be, the Empress’s consciousness has awakened again?

”I... I’m a bit uncomfortable.”

The Empress came to herself, enduring her discomfort, her body slightly leaning into Qin Yu’s embrace.

”Uncomfortable? Let me have a look.”

Qin Yu’s expression turned serious.

Could it be, the Empress is truly pregnant?

Hiss!

This one is the Great Yan Empress, the pinnacle existence of this world.

Most crucially, she is also Ling’Er’s elder sister!

Qin Yu couldn’t care less, gently clasping the Empress’s jade hand, a strand of True Essence entering her body.

Whether it’s that the two are already entwined by a scarlet thread of destiny, or the Empress is in a state of undergoing tribulation, this time, his exploration was not repelled outside.

Even so, Qin Yu’s perception remained quite vague.

He could only faintly sense that the Empress’s body was flooded with a hazy energy, he wanted to delve into it, but could not.

Thus he asked, ”Tell me, where do you feel uncomfortable?”

”I... In my abdomen, there is a strange mass of gas with something seemingly being born inside.”

The Empress initially did not want to answer, but she couldn’t be certain at this moment, so she gave a rough description.

Could it be?

Really pregnant?

Sounds like it doesn’t quite match Yan Yu’s experience.

Could it be a question of Realm?

Qin Yu was first shocked, then overjoyed.

If the Empress truly has a child between the two, then she certainly couldn’t deny it now.

”You are likely pregnant.”

Qin Yu feigned calmness, speaking earnestly.

???

!!!

The Empress’s heart immediately trembled, to avoid Qin Yu noticing, she closed her eyes.

Finished.

Why must such a thing come crashing to her?

This fellow has so many Dao Companions, yet not one offspring, and herself, in just a few days?!

But regardless, it must be faced.

Since it’s already happened...

Ten months of pregnancy.

At worst, upon returning to the Imperial Palace, she won’t see the Empress Dowager, nor Little Ling’Er, and first retreat for a year.

Thus, it might conceal the matter.

”Your Majesty, Your Majesty...”

In Qin Yu’s calls, the Empress opened her eyes again, her gaze still full of sorrow.

”Your Majesty, are you alright?”

Qin Yu was a bit worried, the Empress was in the ’Sorrow’ phase of the Seven Emotions Tribulation, if her mental state fluctuated too much, might she get lost in this tribulation?

”I, I’m fine.”

”Qin Yu, could I truly be pregnant?”

”Give birth with peace, I will take responsibility.”

”But I’m afraid...”

The Empress’s eyes flashed with coldness.

Ha!

Responsibility?

What will you take responsibility with?!

Must I rely on you for responsibility?

Ridiculous.

The ensuing time, Qin Yu originally intended to take it slowly...

But the Empress unexpectedly shed tears.

No choice, then must continue cultivating.

However, he was much more cautious than before, as if truly fearing he might harm the child within the Empress’s womb.
