Cultivation: Starting from a Mortal Bone

She could only watch helplessly as her foot fell into Qin Yu’s palm, those clear eyes filled with a faint and nebulous mist, holding countless unspoken words.

Qin Yu gently grasped it.

He didn’t rush to submerge it in the water for washing but instead slowly and carefully brushed off every speck of dust from it.

His movements were so cautious, as if what he held was not a foot but a priceless work of art, fearing that even the slightest mistake would mar its innate beauty.

However, he was unaware that his actions had already intoxicated the Empress beyond recognition.

The Great Yan Empress, who always showed a dignified and indifferent front, now revealed a side that belonged only to a woman.

The expression on her face was very complex.

It seemed to be a mix of resistance, yet there was also a tiny bit of...

Expectation.

Perhaps even she didn’t know what she was expecting.

The Empress’s cherry lips parted slightly, several times wanting to speak but stopping, and finally, as if exhausting all her energy, she whispered in a trembling voice, ”You... why haven’t you started washing yet?”

”This... at once, at once.”

Qin Yu gave a slight cough to hide the sudden embarrassment.

Just now, he had been so intoxicated that he almost forgot there was still the task of foot washing to be done.

He adjusted his position a little.

Then, with a hint of reluctance, he slowly immersed that warm, jade-like ankle into the warm water.

The foot was already spotlessly clean, yet he continued to wash it earnestly and meticulously.

And very slowly.

With an attitude akin to treating it as a precious artifact!

Who knows how much time had passed.

”Give me the other one.”

Even though Qin Yu was reluctant, time seemed to stand still, and the Empress had yet to move. He finally looked up and saw that the usually indifferent Empress now exuded enchanting charm.

Her eyes seemed to be covered by a light veil, misted with fine dew, half-open, revealing endless allure. Her red lips slightly parted, her breathing carrying a barely noticeable rapidness.

This scene involuntarily mesmerized Qin Yu.

No!

Absolutely not!

This is the high and mighty Empress!

A glance would be enough to get one killed.

Qin Yu repeatedly reminded himself deep down, not to violate this illustrious existence out of a moment’s impulse.

He forcefully suppressed the turmoil in his heart, using all his strength to bow his head. Then, with trembling hands, he reached for the other foot.

And then.

Meticulously repeated the steps from before.

It took Qin Yu a full hour to wash the Empress’s feet.

Afterward, Qin Yu let out a long breath of pent-up air, murmuring softly, ”These feet, truly exhausting to wash.”

As he spoke, he wiped the nonexistent sweat from his forehead.

Anyway, he felt drenched in sweat himself.

If not for his strong willpower, he might have acted against the Empress’s dignity long ago.

It can’t continue!

At this rate, Qin Yu truly feared he might commit an offense.

He glanced up.

The Empress had surprisingly fallen asleep with a rosy face, sleeping exceptionally sweetly, her breathing long and steady.

Qin Yu quietly stood by her side, feeling slightly relieved when noticing nothing unusual.

Not a moment to lose!

The next moment, he disappeared, entering his Lifebound Space.

...

The Beauty Clan Leader had actually been paying attention to Qin Yu’s situation all along.

However, under his intentional shielding, even the Beauty Clan Leader had no idea what was happening outside.

The damn fellow!

Fortunately, though she couldn’t see the outside, the Lifebound Space was quite expansive, and its scenery was pleasant, suited for cultivation, so it didn’t feel tedious.

She thus cast aside distracting thoughts and began to cultivate.

What a blessed land this is.

The longer she stayed, the less she wanted to leave.

And she couldn’t quite understand how Qin Yu had obtained such a small world.

During this time, the Beauty Clan Leader and Lin Shuishui had some exchanges.

By probing indirectly, she accidentally discovered an unexpected situation... Qin Yu had only just broken through the Lotus Platform?!

But why did he have a resonance of the Dao on him?

Could he possess an Innate Dao Spirit Body?

Not out of the question, after all, as a Tributor of the Great Yan Immortal Country, having an Innate Dao Spirit Body was plausible.

However, whether it was the Lotus Platform or Foundation Establishment, why did it lead to a Celestial Tribulation?

The strongest in cultivation here was just that Flame Guard, yet even for her, the Clan Leader, the things she couldn’t figure out kept increasing.

”Swish!”

Qin Yu suddenly appeared, and the Beauty Clan Leader opened her eyes in that instant.

As she intended to block the small cabin, she was stunned to find Qin Yu rushing toward the nearby courtyard in a hurry.

The next moment, a crying voice came over...

”Ptoo!”

The Beauty Clan Leader spat lightly and directly blocked off the room behind her to prevent the little fox and Little Ling’Er from being disturbed.

Soon enough.

She noticed something unusual.

First, her younger sister cried, then the elder sister cried, then her martial sister and her master cried together.

This guy seems a bit different today.

After spending this time together, the Beauty Clan Leader could also see how much Qin Yu pampered his beloved wives.

But the situation coming from over there seemed a bit...

Out of control?

What on earth happened?

The Beauty Clan Leader was very curious.

This guy wasn’t with that Great Yan Empress?

How could this be?

The sound of sobbing continued to spread throughout the courtyard.

Then it was the boatwoman, and then the little demoness.

Ever since Qin Yu crossed the Celestial Tribulation, the little demoness not only didn’t restrain herself but provoked Qin Yu at every turn, just to...

Feel the power of the Celestial Punishment.

Sect Leader Su Xihe really couldn’t stand it any longer and went to help, but the result was...

She couldn’t get off the ground.

Qin Yu walked out of the courtyard in high spirits and saw the Beauty Clan Leader staring at him. He was about to walk over to add some sunk cost to this great beauty.

Only to find that the Empress inside the room had already awakened.

He had to give up.

”Swish!”

He disappeared again.

The Beauty Clan Leader originally saw Qin Yu walking towards her, and her whole body tensed up, having even thought of how to scold this shameless guy.

Yet he just left?!

As she breathed a sigh of relief, the Beauty Clan Leader inexplicably felt a bit...

Disappointed?

She wanted to see what was happening outside, but she was still in a blocked state.

How annoying.

...

”Qin Yu!”

When Qin Yu’s figure came into view, the Empress’s eyes suddenly sparkled like stars. She leaped lightly from the Lotus Platform, her face brimming with unconcealed joy, and went straight into Qin Yu’s embrace, her hands tightly wrapping around his neck.

This sudden hug left Qin Yu momentarily stunned, unsure how to react.

What is this situation?!

Isn’t this more direct than the Empress Dowager?!

Could it be...

Looking at the Empress’s eyes filled with pure joy, Qin Yu seemed to understand something.

This was one of the Seven Emotions Tribulation the Empress was going through—the Joy Tribulation.

However, the Empress’s passion made him feel a bit uneasy.

Especially because the 3D True Dragon totem in front of the Empress seemed to inadvertently draw close to him, giving him a lot of... pressure.

Moreover, the distance between them was so close that they could almost touch each other’s breath. Qin Yu only needed to lower his head slightly to easily capture the Empress’s cherry-like lips, which were indescribably tempting.

He wasn’t sure if the Empress’s consciousness was silently observing all of this.

However.

Qin Yu already had a plan in mind.

He wouldn’t take the initiative to step over the line.

Of course, he wouldn’t resist or reject either.

Well.

Everyone could see it, it was the Empress who threw herself at him, he did nothing.

Surely, just because her jade foot picked up some dust and he kindly helped clean it, he wouldn’t encounter some unwarranted disaster?!

The Empress has always been reasonable and shouldn’t be so inhuman.

Even if Qin Yu hadn’t done anything, he still endured a lot of hardships. He definitely wouldn’t end up in such a miserable state.

But this secret delight didn’t last long.

Qin Yu soon found himself caught in unprecedented dilemma and torment.

Because the Empress always hung on his neck, refusing to let go, either that or snuggling tightly in his arms.

This was simply...

It couldn’t be entirely called torment.

There’s still that little bit of...

Pleasure.

His heart was also constantly rising and falling.

Even by nightfall, when Qin Yu once again held the water to wash the Empress’s feet, she sat leisurely on the Lotus Platform, holding her face in her hands, her eyes sparkling with joy as she focused intently on his every move.

This scene was supposed to be warm and serene, yet Qin Yu’s mind was elusive, sometimes soaring to the clouds, sometimes sinking into the abyss.

His heart was struggling.

Maybe...

Come what may, just let it happen?!
