Cultivation: Starting from a Mortal Bone

The Empress frowned slightly, what’s this?

This is my tribulation.

Could it be, you want to lend your full strength again as you did for Little Yan Yu... to assist?

Ha, that’s unnecessary!

”I have my own ways to deal with it.”

The Empress gently waved her arm, and a golden lotus platform suddenly appeared beside her.

On the golden lotus, divine light surged, filled with an extremely rich Power of Dao Rhyme.

What’s more peculiar is, beneath this golden lotus, there are eight lotus leaves, each one surrounded by Thunder Power.

”Buzz...”

With the appearance of the golden lotus, the mysterious Power of Dao Rhyme filled the entire room.

Qin Yu could clearly feel the Nascent Soul slightly trembling on the lotus platform, as if it particularly enjoyed the feeling of bathing in the Power of Dao Rhyme.

”You can return to that space for now.”

The Empress appeared weary, even with Qin Yu’s miraculous energy assistance, she still felt her Realm unstable, and needed to prepare as soon as possible... to undergo the tribulation.

This golden lotus was crafted with utmost effort by a Grandmaster of the Great Yan Royal Family, using collected materials, and is known as the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus.

It is also part of the Empress’s preparations for the impending tribulation.

However, facing the Dao Heart Tribulation, even the Empress did not have complete confidence in passing safely.

To avoid inadvertently harming Qin Yu, it would be best for him to leave.

”I am deeply indebted to the Emperor’s grace, how can I leave just like that?!”

Qin Yu shook his head, truly worried.

The reason being nothing else, the Empress’s current state was too poor, he dared not imagine, if Little Ling’Er and the Empress Dowager saw her like this, how distressed they would be.

The Empress glanced lightly at Qin Yu, just about to ask him to retreat, but her expression suddenly changed.

”Boom!”

A powerful force of Dao Rhyme suddenly swept out from within the Empress, and her recently stabilized aura became chaotic again.

Now, the Empress could no longer concern herself with letting Qin Yu leave, she immediately supported her arms to sit up from the bed.

However, at this moment, almost all of the Empress’s mind was focused on suppressing the situation within her body, trying to walk to the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus yet her steps were unsteady, her figure staggering, almost falling to the ground.

Seeing this, Qin Yu quickly stepped forward, disregarding etiquette, and supported the Empress by her waist.

Although there wasn’t much contact, Qin Yu could clearly feel the softness of her slender waist.

It must be said.

The Empress’s slim waist fitted perfectly against his palm!

That soft touch was like gently caressing a piece of warm Divine Jade.

The Empress gave Qin Yu a glance, at this moment simply unable to mind his offense, of course, the most crucial point was, this fellow maintained a serious demeanor, with no trace of lascivious thoughts in his gaze, leaving no room to question his intentions.

”Are you not afraid that in my uncontrolled state, I might harm you?”

Supported to the side of the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus, the Empress asked in a low voice.

”Your Majesty’s words are too detached, as a Royal Court Tributor, having received the vast grace of the Emperor, how could I sit idly by in Your Majesty’s time of peril?!”

Qin Yu spoke with utmost righteousness.

These words, heartfelt and sincere.

He could establish himself in the Imperial Capital, with no one daring to challenge him, and receiving reverence from others, thanks in most part to the Empress’s favor.

Otherwise, no matter how capable he was, upon first arriving at the Imperial Capital, not everything would go so smoothly.

The Empress was in an extremely poor state, hearing these words, she couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotions.

In this world of cultivators, most valued their own interests, and there were too many people who were ruthless and unfaithful, but people like Qin Yu, who valued loyalty and righteousness, were indeed rare.

And during such a crucial moment.

However, the Empress did not say anything further.

She clearly felt her emotional fluctuations growing stronger, necessitating rapid preparations to face the Dao Heart Tribulation.

”You, turn around.”

The Empress supported herself, barely able to stand steady.

This fellow, why is his hand still at my waist?

”Yes.”

Qin Yu was stunned, then belatedly realized, sheepishly withdrawing his hand and turning around.

Immediately following, came the rustling sound of unfastening robes.

Qin Yu was taken aback.

Is this really necessary?!

However, the Empress seemed extremely inconvenient in her movements, soon stopping her actions.

”Your Majesty, do you need me to help you... sit up there?”

Qin Yu asked with some concern.

The golden lotus was over a meter high, with the Empress’s current state, it seemed difficult for her to ascend by herself.

”You... close your eyes.”

The Empress hesitated, but still spoke.

Upon hearing this, Qin Yu nodded heavily, and to ease the Empress’s mind, he specifically took out a piece of black cloth and covered his eyes before turning around.

At this point, the Empress had shed her dignified Dragon Robe, leaving only a thin undergarment.

And her arm was reaching back, as if unable to reach the ribbon on her back.

Although he couldn’t see the scene before him, that enchanting fragrance almost automatically sketched a perfect picture in Qin Yu’s mind.

However, Qin Yu showed no offense, with his eyes covered by black cloth, standing reverently, silently, in a manner indicating he was ready to follow the Empress’s orders.

The Empress was originally somewhat tense, after all, even if Qin Yu had been asked to massage her before, she had always worn a thin silk garment, not so... candidly.

Yet, although she was weak and exhausted, her perception remained sharp.

Indeed, Qin Yu showed no signs of peeking, nor did he use Spiritual Power to perceive, his behavior was proper and disciplined.

To this, the Empress felt a hint of appreciation in her heart.

No wonder this fellow faced with the Empress Dowager’s advances, managed to remain unmoved, it turned out, he possessed such resilience of character.

It seemed, she had somewhat misunderstood him before.

”Your Majesty?”

Seeing the Empress not giving further instructions, Qin Yu tentatively called out.

”Help me...”

The Empress began to speak but found it hard to articulate.

How should she say it?

Let him help her undo the last piece of intimate clothing?

However, to ascend the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus, she needed absolute serenity, it would be best if...

”Can’t reach it, Your Majesty?”

Qin Yu took a deep breath and asked softly.

”Hmm.”

The Empress felt a strange sensation arise in her heart, speaking on such a topic with a man felt exceedingly bizarre.

By nature, she was aloof; in the past, even if such needs truly arose, they would have stirred no waves in her heart.

At this moment, the Empress clearly realized that she could no longer effectively control her emotions.

She had to face her... Seven Emotions Tribulation!

”Swoosh!”

As soon as the words fell, the Empress felt Qin Yu’s hand stretch out to touch the ribbon, his fingers sliding lightly, precisely landing on the knot, expertly picking it open.

The Empress only felt a chill in front, her whole person somewhat startled.

How many times must he have done this to be so skillful?

This could no longer be described as reaching the peak.

It’s simply transcendent!

As the undergarments slipped off, a body akin to a masterly crafted artwork was wholly exposed to the air, the proud... White Dragon greedily sucking in fresh air against gravity.

If Qin Yu could behold it with his own eyes, he would certainly marvel inwardly, what a magnificent True Dragon Roaring at Heaven Painting!

The Empress instinctively brought her arms forward, trying to cover herself.

”Hmm!...”

Nevertheless, this tiny move seemed to trigger some internal circumstances, her cherry lips parted slightly, uttering a faint moan.

Qin Yu maintained a calm demeanor, his Dao Heart unwavering, as if none of this could shake his resolve.

After untying the knot, he immediately withdrew his hand, showing no hint of abnormality, standing dutifully without any transgression.

Actually, even without witnessing it firsthand, he could clearly hear the gentle rustle of robes sliding, fully imagining in his mind the breathtaking scene unveiled before him.

Yet, the Empress’s status was too revered, Qin Yu would naturally not dare to take advantage of the situation.

Angering the emperor might result in a wrath beyond his ability to endure.

”Help me up.”

The Empress’s emotions were complex, but witnessing Qin Yu’s decorum, she refrained from saying more.

”Yes!”

Qin Yu responded reverently, extending his arm.

”Watch your hand!”

The Empress’s countenance sharpened, this guy, intending to hold her up?

No need at all!

The Empress firmly resisted such intimate actions, especially without a single garment, her stance was simply...

Too embarrassing.

Qin Yu paused, his hand freezing mid-air, without moving until the Empress extended her arm for him to hold. Only then did he gently grasp it, hesitating a moment before his other hand encircled her slender waist.

The Empress intended to refuse, but the weakness within rendered her powerless.

Without Qin Yu’s assistance, ascending the Lotus Platform would be exceedingly difficult for her.

But...

Though Qin Yu’s eyes were covered, the scenario still stirred a peculiar emotion within the Empress.

Qin Yu was not only a Royal Court Tributor of the Great Yan Royal Family but also the Empress Dowager’s and Ling’Er’s intended future husband.

This was her future brother-in-law, after all!

Even Ling’Er had never shared such an intimate interaction with Qin Yu, right?

Her future brother-in-law embracing her unclothed form, is this rational?!

Definitely irrational.

If Ling’Er and the Empress Dowager were to know of this, what then?

Fortunately, Qin Yu showed restraint, sparing the Empress excessive embarrassment, gently lifting her graceful figure onto the Lotus Platform.

He even raised his arm deliberately to avoid certain sensitive areas, showing no disrespect.

”This matter must not be disclosed to anyone.”

The Empress spoke coolly.

”Not even to Ling’Er and the Empress Dowager?”

”???”

The Empress was startled, was this guy doing it intentionally?

Does it even need asking?!

If they find out...

As the emperor, as a sister, she wouldn’t know how to face them.

After all, she was strict with the Empress Dowager.

Yet, she herself took the lead?!

The Empress Dowager would undoubtedly utter something shocking.

Even wary of her pressure, refraining from rash words, the Empress couldn’t imagine the scrutiny the Empress Dowager’s gaze would cast upon her.

Just thinking about it was unbearable.

”Absolutely not!”

The Empress’s voice was chilling.

”Yes!”

Qin Yu answered respectfully.

On his fingertips, there remained a trace of that unique smoothness, unimaginable before him lay a scene of such perfection.

”You may turn around now.”

Regardless of whether Qin Yu had seen anything, the Empress glared at him sharply, casually instructing.

Though aware that Qin Yu hadn’t looked.

Yet, the current scenario between them still unsettled her.

Not until Qin Yu turned away did the Empress relax, then sat cross-legged.

”Buzz...”

Following the Empress’s movement, the next moment, the Lotus Platform bloomed radiantly, the eight lotus leaves swirling with dense electric arcs, gathering the Golden Thunder Dao Rhyme Power between heaven and earth.

Within the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus, her figure stood tall and dignified, her graceful body akin to that of a Divine Maiden from the heavens.

Her face was cold as jade, eyes slightly closed, with a hint of weariness between her brows, yet still bearing an undeniable aura of dominion over the world.

On the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus, the two powers of Dao Rhyme rippled like waves, creating a sacred and majestic domain amid the intertwining golden light and silver thunder power.

The Empress’s body entirely enveloped in golden thunderlight, seemingly merging with the Golden Thunder Dao Lotus.

With each calm breath, the surrounding golden thunder Dao Rhyme stirred, its power flowing gently and steadily into her body.
