Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

The mentor was rambling on with introductions, making Qin Xin drowsy.

Finally!

The history class and the opening ceremony were over.

The mentor moved on to the main topic: ”The Divine Academy is your shortcut to cultivating supernatural abilities. Here, every subject’s mentor will use everything they’ve learned throughout their lives to guide you in honing your abilities and maximizing your talents. So, the most important thing in our classes is imitation and practical combat! You need to keep moving every second!”

Qin Xin finally understood why the classroom was so peculiar, with no tables or chairs.

It turns out that supernatural ability classes require learning and practicing simultaneously, focusing on practicality.

This is entirely different from the theory-based courses at Imperial University.

You need to practice on the spot to imprint it in your mind; taking notes is useless.

Hmm, it’s somewhat interesting.

Aside from not being able to sleep during class, no problem.

But soon, she felt this ”interest” was not friendly to her at all...

This class, the mentor was teaching the basics—telekinesis.

Every student in the class had slightly different abilities, but the source of everyone’s abilities was their innate talent and accumulated Spiritual Power.

So, regardless of the type of ability, you can concentrate your power to provide strength for combat.

High-level ability users don’t need to act themselves to remotely control objects, even moving mountains and overturning seas.

But these beginners have to start from the basics, starting with telekinesis.

The mentor first taught the spell, then demonstrated how to move a piece of chalk from the table about one meter forward to the blackboard.

”Alright, everyone practice on your own. I’ll give each of you a piece of chalk. Before class ends, whoever can move the chalk the furthest within three seconds will receive excellent marks for this class. Those who are not qualified...” The mentor hummed twice, ”stay for extra practice until you succeed.”

The crowd groaned: ”...Okay.”

Qin Xin raised her eyebrows.

It seems, in any world, ”extra practice” is the teacher’s ultimate weapon.

As soon as the mentor finished speaking, everyone started eagerly to see how far they could move the chalk.

For a moment, the voices chanting spells echoed through the classroom.

Soon, some bright minds succeeded in their experiments!

”One centimeter, one centimeter, I succeeded!”

The crowd booed: ”Tch, you boast about one centimeter? Young Master Jing has already moved half a meter, okay?”

Jing Zhichen wasn’t the first to succeed, but he exerted the most power.

In his black robe, he stood completely still, eyes slightly focused on the chalk on the ground. You couldn’t even hear him chanting spells, and the chalk shot forward like a swimming fish!

It stopped only after moving half a meter.

”Wow—!” The female students gazed in admiration.

The mentor was full of praise: ”Not bad, not bad, Young Master Jing is truly a worthy successor! No wonder he scored 59 points in the talent test for extraordinary brilliance!”

After praising for a while, the mentor realized something was off.

Until Ding Dou softly reminded him: ”Mentor, Sister Xin scored 100 on the talent test...”

Oh right, the first place is Lan Qingxin. How could he have forgotten that enigmatic, unattractive girl?

The mentor quickly took small steps to Qin Xin, eager to witness the stunning performance of a 100-point talent.

Then he saw an astonishing scene.

No matter how Qin Xin chanted the spell, the chalk didn’t move at all.

”This...” The mentor was quite worried and personally taught Qin Xin again on the spot.

Qin Xin tried again.

The chalk remained stationary.

Another lesson.

Another attempt...
