Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 584: Chapter 584: Eye-Seering Avant-Garde Piano Art

The concert is about to start.

Qin Wenrou finally hurried over, lifting her skirt, and said to Qin Xin, ”Sister, we’ve got a room at 2019 specifically for makeup and resting. Xiao Shuang is in there tuning the guitar. I’ve arranged for him to go on the second performance. After I finish playing this piece, he’ll go on stage. If he doesn’t come in time, could you go and hurry him up? I’m giving him ten minutes to play, so don’t let him waste this opportunity.”

Qin Wenrou said this with particular sincerity, like a reformed, caring big sister looking out for her brother.

Qin Xin just hummed in response, saying nothing.

If Xiao Shuang really is scheduled for the second performance with ten whole minutes, then the sun must be rising in the west.

Would Qin Wenrou really be this kind-hearted?

She decided to listen for now.

After specially instructing on this matter, Qin Wenrou once again jogged to the stage, lifting her skirt.

Since it wasn’t a particularly formal concert, there was no host to make introductions.

Instead, Qin Wenrou herself read a short introduction.

It was nothing more than thanking her mother, thanking her brother and sister, thanking all the friends and family present.

She especially thanked someone by name, and when she mentioned that name, a dry, skinny old man with a hooked nose stood up and greeted everyone.

From a distance, Qin Xin felt a sense of unease.

Is that Qin Wenrou’s new piano teacher?

Finally finishing the long list of thank-yous, Qin Wenrou sat at the grand piano and began to play.

It has to be admitted that Mrs. Qin really dotes on Qin Wenrou beyond words.

This grand piano isn’t cheap. The Qin Family’s current financial situation definitely couldn’t afford it, and even renting it costs a lot of money.

Mrs. Qin not only rented the venue and hired a teacher but also extravagantly rented this expensive grand piano...

Thinking about how Xiao Shuang only got the cheapest guitar to teach himself at home, Qin Xin’s eyes grew colder.

She stood up, not wanting to listen to Qin Wenrou’s piano for another minute.

It would be better to go to the dressing room to find Xiao Shuang.

Just as she stood up, she heard an exclamation from the front, followed by a round of applause!

Qin Wenrou heard a few sharp, exaggerated piano notes and thought, with such unpleasant melodies, people are actually clapping. Have these relatives gone mad?

Turning her head, she saw an unexpected and rather eye-searing sight.

She saw Qin Wenrou actually using a pair of chopsticks to play the piano.

Of course, the force of chopsticks and fingers is different, so the melody sounded completely different from the usual piano music.

At some angles, the chopsticks were tricky to use, so Qin Wenrou slightly leaned forward, brushing her chin across the keys, creating a series of heavy chords.

Her little dress, due to the leaning, immediately exposed a faint glimpse of scenery.

Though playing the piano with chopsticks and chin was certainly not elegant, its novelty and the fact that no one had seen it before made the relatives find it interesting, and they began to applaud, led by Mrs. Qin.

Qin Xin was speechless for a while.

She thought Qin Wenrou was diligently learning from some impressive teacher.

Turns out, she’s taking an unconventional path.

Turning the art of piano into a circus act, ha.

She coldly retracted her gaze and decisively stepped away.

The busy Qin Wenrou, playing the piano with chopsticks and her chin, caught a glimpse of Qin Xin leaving, and her lips slightly curled up.

Ha, sister, if you can’t appreciate my new-age piano art, then go enjoy the private service I arranged for you!

Take your time and enjoy tonight.
