Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 559: Chapter 559: Kiss of Life and Death (Part 4)

The nurse was scolded until she hung her head low, forced to stay put and attend to the so-called ”critical” patient, who showed no signs of improvement.

She wasn’t a fool; she understood the ways of the world. After a few glances at the little note, she realized these specially marked patients were acquaintances of the hospital director, just like the two patients being treated now, commonly known as people with connections.

No wonder, even after half an hour, no students or staff got any chance to see a doctor.

She felt deeply unfair, but dared not say anything.

After all, she had encountered such situations working in the hospital before, where patients who had queued up were pushed aside by acquaintances with special connections. She could only swallow her anger.

What could a mere nurse say?

Seeing hundreds, if not thousands, of students around, who only needed a bit of aid to get back on their feet out of danger, yet were receiving no help, was truly heart-wrenching.

The medical team leader had a fit of anger.

Frustrated, he stepped away a few paces.

Finally.

He noticed Qin Xin and the others, who had appeared at some point.

These people were more orderly than professional medical personnel, continuously transporting the injured outside!

Watching for a few minutes, his brow furrowed: ”What are you doing! Who gave you permission to do this!”

No one paid him any attention.

Everyone was busy with their tasks, rushing to rescue people.

The medical team leader was furious: ”This is my turf, you moved my patients without my permission, that’s illegal!”

Qin Xin had just finished resuscitating a critical patient, performing a simple surgery with a surgical blade and a piece of suture she carried, instructing Huangfu Feng to carry the person to a safe spot and keep them warm.

Upon hearing, she calmly looked up: ”This isn’t your patient, it’s my classmate. You abandoned him; I didn’t abandon him.”

The medical team leader was stunned: ”You’re still a student?”

In the dim light, seeing Qin Xin’s young face, he became even more surprised and angry: ”Just a student, yet you dare to operate at will? Did you sterilize? Did you anesthetize? Did you suture? Did you stop the bleeding...”

A barrage of questions was thrown at Qin Xin.

Qin Xin maintained her indifferent tone: ”You seem eager to learn my techniques, I don’t mind giving you a chance to observe.”

As she spoke, she instructed Hu Yi: ”Next one.”

Hu Yi: ”Got it!”

Immediately, he directed classmates to carry over the next critically ill person, this time an old man, quite aged, probably a professor. Because he shielded students to get out first, he was the last to go, and got hit by a piece of the hallway ceiling, suffering severe head injuries.

Ao Xinghao anticipated he might have intracranial bleeding, and was afraid to let Song Anjing bandage him carelessly, so he brought him over to Qin Xin.

Upon hearing the brief of the situation, Qin Xin’s expression grew more severe. She waved to stop them: ”Don’t lift him, I’ll go over.”

Given his age and potential intracranial bleeding, it’s better not to move him lightly.

The medical team leader was infuriated by Qin Xin’s disregard and arrogant attitude towards him. Yet she was focused on attending to an almost dying old man, making his anger shoot through the roof:

”You want to learn my technique? Are you aware my apprentices number in the hundreds, each taking pride in watching me perform a neurosurgery?”

”Someone like you wouldn’t even qualify as an intern at our hospital, you’re not even fit to tie my shoelaces, yet you dare to show off your surgery skills in front of me?”

”Do you even understand that this old man’s head is beyond saving? At such an old age, a blow to the head turns everything inside to mush, there’s no way to save him.”

”I seriously want to see how this reckless girl gets people killed, and then have the President Mansion deal with you properly!”
