Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 423: Chapter 423: The Wonderful Feeling of Being Held by Mr. Nalan

After the final exam results were announced, some were happy while others were worried.

The happiest was Ao Meng, Class 2 finally got rid of the reputation as the underachieving class, and she walked with her head held high: ”Come on, kiddos, keep up the good work, don’t just indulge in eating during the New Year, keep up the momentum, next semester we’ll continue to beat Class 1!”

The most unfortunate was Gou Dachun, wherever he went these days, his name was called in reverse, accompanied by meaningful laughter.

However, surprisingly, he didn’t mind at all, and responded cheerfully, ”Okay, okay.”

And he took the opportunity to promote, ”Hey, I recently published a paper in an academic journal, have you seen it?”

His obsession with academia made people wonder if he had changed internally.

Before the winter holidays, Imperial University routinely held a New Year dance.

This was an event that attracted the attention of both faculty and students across the campus.

After a semester of intense studying, everyone needed such an activity to relax and prepare for the next year.

Also, each college or class had their star performances on stage, and there was a hidden competition.

Especially after hearing that the major sponsor of the school orchestra would be watching the performances from the audience, the participating students were even more eager to be the highlight.

What if they got noticed by the sponsor? They could be set for the future, right?

Looking for a job after graduation would be a sure thing.

This afternoon, Qin Wenrou came early for the rehearsal, even though her piano performance was the last one to go on stage, she was really meticulous, afraid of any details going wrong.

She even rehearsed her steps up and down the stage three times.

Her fellow students were quite annoyed: everyone’s time is precious, and here she was, wasting others’ time with her fuss.

The rehearsal teacher, however, was quite pleased: ”Well done, Wenrou, tonight’s finale will be amazing, everyone should learn from her.”

This was the most comforting compliment Qin Wenrou received since the announcement of the grades.

She smiled gracefully: ”Thank you, teacher.”

”Wenrou, don’t be nervous, as long as you perform steadily, the best show tonight will definitely be yours.”

”Thank you, teacher, I will do my best.”

The best performance at the dance would get a personal meeting with the sponsor, along with a reward.

The other students felt a mix of envy and frustration.

Qin Wenrou’s first place seemed almost settled, right?

But there was no helping it, many at Imperial University could play piano, but some weren’t as pretty as Qin Wenrou, some didn’t have higher grades than her, some weren’t favored by the teachers, and some didn’t have strong connections in the Student Union, in the end only Qin Wenrou had resources in every aspect, making her the final act.

The finale!

The last performance!

The sponsor and the principal and teachers serving as judges would surely remember the last act most vividly.

As long as Qin Wenrou didn’t mess up catastrophically, she would almost certainly take first place.

In the dormitory.

Song Anjing gossipingly asked Qin Xin: ”Xinxin, what program did your class choose to compete with?”

Qin Xin looked indifferent: ”I don’t know.”

The arts committee member is Yu Xiaochun, nobody likes Yu Xiaochun, nobody paid attention to it, eventually nobody knows what program Yu Xiaochun put together.

Song Anjing continued: ”Well, but I’m different from them, I’m not focused on which class will get first. I’m more curious if any boys will invite me to dance during the final dance when everyone dances together...”

Qin Xin glanced at her: ”What’s so exciting about dancing with boys?”

Song Anjing: ”Oh come on Xinxin, you don’t get it, they say some boys have great strength in their hands and waist, dancing with them feels like floating, it’s really fun...”

Qin Xin: ”...”

What Song Anjing described didn’t sound like dancing, more like a man with a woman...

She coughed, suddenly picturing Mr. Nalan lifting her with his strong arms, what’s going on in her mind?

[Master Yun: Goodnight kiss! Waiting to be hugged tomorrow night, hehe]
