Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 269: Chapter 269: Young Master’s Temper Is More Unpredictable Than the Weather Forecast

Nalan Ye Jue glanced at the message from Bai Chi, his eyes turning a few degrees colder.

What color hat his woman liked to wear was none of this idiot’s business.

Annoyed, he replied with four words: ”Mind your own business.”

After sending the message, he looked up at the group of mid-level managers in the conference room who were reporting their work, finding them all displeasing to the eye.

He interrupted a vice president’s report coldly: ”Cut down on the nonsense and just say if you can meet the performance targets by the end of the year.”

The vice president was in the middle of explaining the difficulties of the project and quickly reported: ”Young Master, we expect to only reach eighty percent. The business environment in the second half is really tough, mainly due to intense international competition...”

Before he could even finish his reasons for complaining, Nalan Ye Jue ruthlessly cut him off again: ”If you can’t meet one hundred percent target, then don’t bother working. There’s no competition for the position of cooking for your wife at home.”

The vice president froze, his old face turning red!

The Young Master had never been so harsh with them before!

When it was the next vice president’s turn to speak, he was trembling, not daring to mention any difficulties, and patted his chest guaranteeing he could meet one hundred percent of the target, and one hundred percent profitability, thinking this would get him through without a scolding.

Who knew?

Nalan Ye Jue still coldly interrupted his pledge: ”If there’s no difficulty, one hundred percent means standing still! Raise the target to one hundred and fifty percent, and if you can’t meet that by the end of the year, you can also stop working!”

The vice president looked distressed, unable to express his grievances.

The following speakers, without exception, had their mistakes and work deficiencies pointed out sharply by Nalan Ye Jue, each opening their reports with trepidation, ending dejectedly and silently receiving a lecture.

What was wrong with the Young Master?

Everyone couldn’t help but cast questioning glances toward Lu Yi, the secretary serving behind the Young Master.

Lu Yi helplessly spread his hands.

He didn’t know either!

It was always said that the Young Master’s heart is like a needle at the bottom of the sea!

The Young Master’s temper is harder to predict than the weather forecast!

As the number of people scolded by Nalan Ye Jue increased, more and more eyes seeking help turned toward him.

Under the pressure, Lu Yi quickly lowered his head to browse his phone, checking the live report of the scholarship competition sent by Principal Shi.

Whoa.

The young lady got first! First! First!

Lu Yi almost jumped up in the conference room.

He couldn’t care less about the scolded executives and quickly went forward to report this news to Nalan Ye Jue.

Nalan Ye Jue’s face was calm as water, remaining utterly undisturbed.

Lu Yi almost doubted he heard what he was saying.

Young Master wasn’t surprised?

Young Master wasn’t shocked?

The next second, Nalan Ye Jue asked him in a calm voice: ”As far as I know, those idiot judges couldn’t possibly give her first.”

Feng Liang and Bai Chi alone could drag the score down.

Lu Yi thought to himself, could it be really a mistake?

He quickly sent another message to Principal Shi for confirmation.

Principal Shi’s confirmation came back quickly: No mistake, indeed first place, solidly first place, two million in scholarship was awarded on-site, presented personally by Young Master Bai.

After reading the reply, Lu Yi reported to Nalan Ye Jue with complex feelings: ”Young Master, the young miss really took first place, and as for the two judges... she directly sent Feng Liang to jail; and made Young Master Bai so angry he had a mild heart attack and went to the hospital for oxygen...”

Nalan Ye Jue responded calmly: ”Mm.”

He didn’t ask for any other details.

Lu Yi wished desperately that Mr. Emperor would ask how the young lady managed to infuriate the two judges to death?

Then he could properly laud the young miss for catching Feng Liang’s many weaknesses and fiercely confronting Young Master Bai on-site.

But the Young Master didn’t ask... not a single word...
