Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Behind Closed Doors, ”One-on-One Tutoring

Everyone gathered around with concern and asked, ”Why? It’s not even noon yet. We haven’t returned to the lab, so how did we lose?”

The classmate moved their lips, lowered their voice: ”There’s no need to wait until noon. Over in Class 1, Qin Wenrou has already been called to the office by Feng Liang for one-on-one tutoring! Our class barely learned how to dissect rabbits or make heart slices, and now they’re getting extra help. Their scores will definitely be better than ours!”

Everyone gasped, one-on-one tutoring?

”Damn, this isn’t fair!”

”Why does Class 1 get one-on-one tutoring?”

”Aren’t we just sitting ducks waiting to die? We’re doomed. Our class is heading for a loss...”

Ao Xinghao heard this, frowned slightly, and walked away from the crowd.

Feng Liang actually dared to give Qin Wenrou one-on-one tutoring before the competition results were out. What a shameless move!

He hurriedly walked towards the office building.

He was very familiar with the Medical College’s office building. He went up to the third floor, where Feng Liang’s office was at the end of the corridor.

All the other professors were out giving lectures in the morning, so the third floor was very quiet.

Ao Xinghao boldly walked to the office at the end, pushed but found that the door was locked.

He frowned and knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside.

Just now, someone from Class 2 saw Qin Wenrou enter Feng Liang’s office. Had the ”tutoring” already ended so quickly?

Feeling frustrated, Ao Xinghao kicked the door a few times to vent before turning to leave.

At this moment.

The two people inside the room held their breath nervously!

Only after Ao Xinghao’s footsteps faded away did Feng Liang squint his clouded, wrinkle-covered eyes at Qin Wenrou, who was sitting in his office chair with her review materials spread open.

Qin Wenrou, having been startled by the knocking, looked terrified, like a rabbit awaiting slaughter, and leaned closer to Feng Liang: ”Professor Feng, what if someone discovers us...”

Feng Liang chuckled and reached out to pinch her cheek: ”What are you afraid of? So what if they find out? I’m tutoring you openly... Now, look at the materials and follow my actions...”

He grabbed Qin Wenrou’s hand, mimicking the action of holding a scalpel, his cloudy eyes glinting with a bit of sharpness: ”Your movements must be precise...”

Feng Liang’s touch made Qin Wenrou somewhat uncomfortable.

The smell of the old man’s breath, peculiar to his age, reminded her strongly of the stench from the dying rabbit on the lab table yesterday.

But Qin Wenrou endured it, inwardly feeling a slight joy as she thought: So what if that ugly freak has Ao Xinghao and Hu Yi protecting her on both sides? Now, she was under the protection of the top judge!

The scholarship competition results, due at noon today, were entirely in Feng Liang’s hands.

Although she had taken Brother Jun’s keys last night and made some preparations, that was only to ensure the ugly freak’s elimination and didn’t guarantee her victory.

But now, if she could handle Feng Liang, she had secured the competition!

There was no better shortcut than this!

Thinking of this, Qin Wenrou became bolder, timidly holding Feng Liang’s arm: ”Professor Feng, my heart’s not doing too well. I was just scared by the knocking. Could you check on me? Otherwise, it might affect my performance in the competition later...”

Feng Liang stared directly at Qin Wenrou, readily agreeing: ”Sure, sure... there’s no need to worry about the competition results; it’s all up to me!”

This little girl is quite savvy, voluntarily asking for a heart check, hehe...

At eleven-thirty noon.

The lab reopened on time.

Students gradually returned to their respective lab stations.

Qin Xin, who hadn’t slept well the night before, wore a baseball cap, its brim pulled low to cover her still sleepy eyes.

With her hands in her pockets, a bit of morning grumpiness on her face, she walked indifferently to the front row, to the center lab station.

As her gaze swept over yesterday’s experiment slices, the chilling aura around her intensified a bit more!

She resembled nothing so much as an iceberg on the verge of eruption.
