Madame is Pretending to be an Academic Slacker Again!

Chapter 253: Chapter 253: How Many Tables Did Sister Xin Smash This Week?

”Trust me, I won’t let you suffer in vain!”

Qin Xin’s calm yet firm tone made the dim look in Song Anjing’s eyes brighten momentarily: ”Xinxin, do you have a plan?”

But quickly, that glimmer faded: ”Xinxin, forget it. If I speak out about my experience, no one will believe me. Feng Liang seems so dignified and has a high status in the Medical College. People might even think I’m framing him! Failing to expose him might just make my life in the Pharmacy College unbearable, with people pointing fingers at me. I’d rather just endure it...”

Anyway, as long as I don’t give him any opportunities to approach me, I’ll make it through to graduation.

If I can’t fight him, can’t I at least avoid him?

Xiangxiang also sighed: ”Girls always end up on the losing side, we just have to endure, to hide...”

Song Anjing: ”Yeah, I heard he’s the chief judge of the competition this time, he’s really in the spotlight, even the dean of the Medical College respects him greatly...”

Respect?

Endure? Hide?

Qin Xin’s eyes were cold and she slapped the table: ”Who said girls must swallow their pride?”

Song Anjing was stirred by this powerful question, feeling a spark of defiance, but quickly took a nervous sip of her chestnut-flavored milk and then anxiously clutched Qin Xin’s arm to stop her:

”Xinxin, you mustn’t be impulsive. If you charge into Feng Liang’s office, break his table, or even his head... you’d end up in jail... sob, I don’t want you to go to jail for me... Even though Xiangxiang’s cooking is really good, and I could bring you meals every day, I don’t want you in jail...”

Qin Xin’s lip twitched: ”Not swallowing my pride doesn’t mean acting recklessly...”

Is she really that straightforward and violent?

Breaking someone’s skull?

However, Song Anjing and Xiangxiang were both looking at her with hopeful eyes saying, ”Yes, yes, Sister Xin, you are just like that.”

At that moment, the sturdy dining table made a ”crack” sound, splitting into a beautiful spiderweb pattern right where Qin Xin had slapped it, and then shattering into countless pieces!

Stainless steel bowls fell to the floor.

Qin Xin: ”...”

Alright, she does have a bit of trouble controlling her strength when she’s angry.

Ao Xinghao, Hu Yi, and Huo Zhen walked in just as the table shattered.

Ao Xinghao, with a bit of grass in his mouth, squinted and smiled: ”Xin, who dared to make you angry this time?”

Hu Yi took out a little notebook, flipping through it seriously: ”Let me count how many tables Sister Xin has broken this week... one, two, three, four, five...”

Huo Zhen stood silently to the side, lips pursed, a bit of a loner like a solitary little animal.

Qin Xin invited him over: ”Come sit over here.”

Ao Xinghao exaggeratedly complained: ”Xin, why don’t you invite me to sit over?”

Qin Xin rolled her eyes at him: ”You have legs, can’t you walk over by yourself?”

Ao Xinghao chuckled, satisfied, yes, yes, Huo Zhen is like a little brother, without legs.

After the table broke, Qin Xin moved to a different seat.

Two rows of four seats were joined together, enough for eight people.

Finally, people wouldn’t have to fight over the seat next to her in the cafeteria.

Huo Zhen sat obediently across from her, but his eyes remained downcast, his hands nervously twisting the hem of his shirt. If you looked closely, you could see the skin beneath his bangs twitching uncontrollably, as if in pain.

Qin Xin thought about the scene she saw outside the cafeteria earlier.

Feng Liang was standing at the cafeteria entrance, calling out to a male student he was talking to, and that was Huo Zhen.

Huo Zhen’s ”Tourette syndrome” hadn’t acted up for several days, he had been managing it well, so why was it suddenly flaring up again?

Was he triggered by something?
