Chapter 1451: Closing for the Day!

Elasha read the details on the card with an astonished face. The first beast she summoned was the White Vermillion Bird, a mutant beast with only Supreme Quality. Since there was no way to improve the quality of the beast in the store, the beast had been stuck at peak Divine Lord for years.

The Fiery Behemoth on the card had no such disadvantage, as it was the ultimate quality, the highest available quality in the store.

Elasha liked the details, so she immediately put her hands down on the Fiery Behemoth. Her mood was good since she got a likable beast only on her second try, saving her a possible large summoning cost.

Leaving the line, she walked toward the square device and joined the line. While waiting for her turn, she began to think of ways to defeat the beast.

After waiting for several minutes, it was her turn. She then put the beast card in the card compartment and her hand in the hand section.

The next moment, her consciousness appeared in a different environment. Big beads of sweat appeared across her face as Elasha looked around.

She was currently in rough terrain, with small lava pools and volcanoes randomly spread across the battlefield. The sun was at the top, so it further added to the increased temperature.

The fire element was so rich in the environment that Elasha saw the formation of a lava pool through her naked eyes.

Rumble!

The next moment, her attention was taken away by a loud sound. It was the beast that had jumped out of one lava pool.

As the Fiery Behemoth was an enormous creature, Elasha seemed like an ant in comparison to it. A single drop of lava streaking across its rough body was more than enough to drown her.

Roar!

The Fiery Behemoth coldly stared at the intruder, sending chills down Elashaʼs spine.

Elasha didnʼt stay that way for long and soon calmed down. She had been in the store for several years, and that had helped immensely with her strength.

Ding!

The directionless bell rang, announcing the start of the battle.

Elasha immediately acted, and a bow formed in her hands. It was formed of fire energy. Since the White Vermillion Bird was also a fire element creature, Elasha had some relation with the fire element.

Elasha stretched the bowstring and an arrow made of fire began to form, and she then released it. She had been an archer for numerous years, so in the span of a second, she created a rain of arrows.

Fire arrows didnʼt have much impact on the Fiery Behemoth due to its lava terrain, and to solve that, every arrow had a slightly glowing tip in white.

Since there was no moon on the battlefield, Elasha was cautious about using too much moonlight energy.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A loud explosion rang with every shot that struck the Fiery Behemoth, but its carapace was more than enough durable and handled the strikes with ease.

Elasha used the beastʼs slow speed to her advantage and bombarded it with repeated arrows. She would add a random skill in the middle of the arrows to confuse the beast.

The Fiery Behemoth wasnʼt just brawn, so it didnʼt fall for Elashaʼs tricks. Whenever it saw an energy skill, it would defend using skills and not just its strong body.

Time flew by, and the battle between the two kept on raging for hours.

The Fiery Behemoth was slow, but due to its enormous body, it easily crossed large distances and kept on attacking Elasha. Neither of the two sides was willing to give up on the battle, and with time, it kept getting bloodier.

After more than ten hours had passed, Elasha finally began to feel exhausted. Her natal element was moonlight, but there was no moon on the battlefield to gain moonlight, so her storage was drying out. In the case of the beast, the area was filled with fire and earthen elements, so it had unlimited resources at its disposal.

Elasha could see defeat approaching her, and she didnʼt want to lose because of exhaustion, so she decided to take one last chance.

Whatever moonlight energy remained in her body was drawn out at once, forming a cloak around Elasha. The cloak couldnʼt fully form due to insufficient energy, so Elasha fed it with its essence, and in no time the cloak fully formed and covered her fully.

She had only stepped into the True God level, so she wasnʼt able to float, but in that state, her control of energy was so fine that she easily took flight.

A bow made of fire emerged in her hands, and as she stretched the bowstring, an energy arrow began to form. With every cm stretch, Elashaʼs face grew paler since her blood essence was feeding energy to the arrow.

There was no arrow wing, and the shaft had a darker tint to it, and when the arrowhead formed, it was in the shape of a moving snake.

At the same time, Elasha was also getting bombarded with the Fiery Behemothʼs attack. The cloak was protecting her from those attacks, but with every successful defense, it was slowly fading.

After a long struggle, the arrow finally fully formed, and at that moment, Elashaʼs face was drained of all her blood. She seemed unable to keep floating in the sky, but whatever remained of the cloak kept her afloat.

Elasha gritted her teeth and released the bowstring. The next moment, she was also thrown backward by the force of the release, and the arrow flew, tearing through the space, aiming for the beastʼs gigantic head.

BOOM!

A loud explosion rang in the sky after the arrow successfully struck its target. Space cracked open around the beastʼs head, increasing the intensity of the damage.

When things finally subsided, the beast was still alive, but half of its face had disappeared. It tried to restore that injury but was unable to since a snake made of silver light flashed from time to time, further aggravating the injury.

At that time, Elasha had exhausted her moonlight energy reserves, so she was at her weakest, but she forced herself to keep standing. Going down at that moment meant she would be the first to lose after all that.

The beast had the same intention, so it flayed its enormous body. It hoped for a chance since even a casual hit from the beast in that condition would kill Elasha.

Elasha gritted her teeth, forcing herself to persevere, and soon she saw an enormous hand approaching her.

Growl!

A beast-like growl escaped her mouth as she decided to give up her left shoulder and was knocked back. Darkness slowly descended in front of her eyes, but she forced herself to stay awake, gritting through the unbearable pain.

Elashaʼs gruesome struggle didnʼt fail her, and the silver snake finally aggravated the beastʼs injury to the point where its brain stopped working, resulting in the death of the beast.

The next moment, a white light engulfed Elasha, and following that, her consciousness returned to the store.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

The time for the sun to set arrived, and slowly, a cover of darkness began to cover Thorr and its nearby cities.
