Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

86: Instantaneous speed, incredibly close!Three minutes were up!

Following a whistle from someone on site.

Zhang Yu drove the car, leaving the starting point and heading toward the summit.

Ahead lay the winding Panshan Mountain road.

At the sharpest turns, half the car body would have to be outside the road.

”This guy really dares to challenge him! Second Young Master Wu has driven in rally races before.”

”This Panshan Mountain road is child’s play for him.”

”That person actually dared to challenge Second Young Master Wu. He really overestimates himself.”

”Wait, I just remembered, the whistle was blown 10 seconds late. Will that affect anything?”

”Ten seconds late? Do you know how many people get left behind in a rally race in 10 seconds? But it doesn’t matter. Second Young Master Wu will definitely overtake him by the minute, so it’s irrelevant.”

”Sister Hong, what do you think?”

A group of people looked toward the sexy woman wearing leather pants.

”I’ll watch while sitting.”

Sister Hong pulled out a tablet computer.

There were several red dots on the screen, clearly showing the real-time location information of each car.

This was because a tracking device had been installed on every car before the race.

The trackers weren’t expensive, only a few hundred yuan each, but they were effective.

Because the Panshan Mountain road had been cleared beforehand.

They had also arranged for their people to set up road signs at some of the more dangerous locations.

The safety measures were also very well done, almost comparable to professional racing organizations.

After all, many of these car enthusiasts had experience competing in amateur races.

At this moment.

Su Mei and Sasha watched Zhang Yu drive out of sight.

They didn’t know how he was doing and couldn’t help but feel a little worried.

”Come here, you two.”

Sister Hong looked up and beckoned to the two of them.

”Are you calling us?”

Sasha asked, pointing at her nose.

”You must want to follow his race status, right? Come and look.”

Sister Hong smiled.

The others didn’t understand why Sister Hong was doing this, but...

She certainly had her reasons for doing so.

All the others needed to do was keep quiet.

After all, Sister Hong had a major background. Even Wu Yilun had to give her some face.

Naturally, they wouldn’t dare question her.

Su Mei and Sasha moved closer.

They saw the red dots on the tablet.

They were labeled with serial numbers 1, 2, and 3, corresponding to the starting order.

”Holy crap, what’s going on?”

At that moment, someone in the crowd suddenly shouted.

They saw that Zhang Yu’s car no. 3, after slowly adapting to the mountain road conditions during the starting phase...

...was gradually picking up speed!

Because of the three-minute staggered start time.

Initially, car no. 3 was far behind car no. 2, and the gap with Wu Yilun’s car no. 1 was even greater.

But now.

They could clearly see that Zhang Yu’s car was steadily accelerating.

The distance between him and car no. 2 had been reduced by nearly half.

It had only been a little over ten minutes since the start.

How did he manage to be so fast?

At this moment.

Feedback messages from partners stationed further up the mountain also came through the remote walkie-talkie.

”car no. 1 has passed the first series of major turns!”

”car no. 3 has passed the first continuous uphill and downhill section and is currently accelerating!”

”That’s interesting.”

Sister Hong murmured.

The person named Zhang Yu should be visiting Panshan Mountain for the first time.

But aside from being unfamiliar with the road conditions and starting a bit slow.

His current instantaneous speed is already the fastest!

If he maintains this instantaneous speed and manages to close the gap a little more later, Zhang Yu’s total elapsed time will be the shortest.

Seeing the data on the screen, Sasha couldn’t help but pump her fist and shout, ”Yeah!”

”Sasha, what’s going on?”

Su Mei still didn’t quite understand the data.

”Zhang Yu’s average speed per minute is the fastest among the three cars!”

Sasha explained, ”He was only a bit slow in the beginning. If he catches up a bit more later, he can take first place!”

”Zhang Yu is that amazing?”

Hearing this, Su Mei’s eyes lit up.

Wu Yilun had the skill level of a professional race car driver, and the driver of the car in the middle had also participated in many rally races.

Zhang Yu, however, had no prior professional racing experience.

He came to Panshan Mountain without checking the road conditions or memorizing the route book beforehand.

Who would have thought that his instantaneous speed would actually be the fastest right now?

”Hmph, don’t celebrate too soon. The real test hasn’t started yet!”

”In my opinion, he’s just lucky and reckless.”

”The road section so far barely has any turns. Who can’t drive straight?”

Everyone in the crowd said dismissively.

The Panshan Mountain road is divided into three major sections.

They have only just passed the first section.

The road conditions in the subsequent two sections are much more complicated.

The higher they go, the worse the situation becomes.

At that point, a slightly delayed reaction could easily lead to crashing into a pile of rocks.

Furthermore, the poor visibility at night further tests skill and familiarity with the road conditions.

”I think you should tell your Zhang Yu to withdraw, lest he drives off the road later.”

”Hmph, why don’t you tell your Second Young Master Wu to withdraw? Zhang Yu will definitely win!”

Sasha retorted indignantly, placing her hands on her hips.

”Sister Hong, how much am I leading by right now?”

At that moment, Wu Yilun’s voice came through the walkie-talkie.

”Your current speed ranks second.”

Sister Hong said expressionlessly.

”Second?”

Wu Yilun in the car was clearly surprised.

”That Fatty Bo kid, it was hard for him even to finish a race before. Why is he performing so well this time?”

The Fatty Bo he referred to was the racer who started second.

”No, the fastest driver is Zhang Yu!”

Sister Hong said, staring at the screen.

In terms of instantaneous speed, Zhang Yu is currently 10 seconds ahead of Wu Yilun.

”What, it’s him?”

Wu Yilun’s voice immediately rose by more than ten decibels.

Then.

Everyone heard the sound of him accelerating his car through the walkie-talkie.

”Wu Yilun, the road conditions in the second section are more complex than the first, and visibility is poor,” Sister Hong warned. ”The maximum tested safe speed is 80 kilometers per hour. You are already at 83. Slow down quickly!”

”Don’t worry, Sister Hong,” Wu Yilun laughed confidently. ”I’ve driven this section more than once. Anything under 85, and I’m fine.”

”Second Young Master is truly amazing, driving at 85 on this section!”

”If it were me, I’d only drive 40 at most!”

”Great skill breeds boldness! Young Master Wu will definitely win this time!”

At this moment.

Worry appeared on Sasha and Su Mei’s faces again.

They were afraid he wouldn’t win, but they were also worried about the danger of the mountain road; they just wanted him to finish the race safely.

The two emotions intertwined, and for a moment, they didn’t know what to do.

Moreover.

When Zhang Yu started the race, he hadn’t taken the walkie-talkie they gave him.

They didn’t know if he had forgotten or done it on purpose.

In that case, Zhang Yu wouldn’t know what his current situation was.
