Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

81: A top-level figure wants me to open a bank? The last time they had officially met, she had been riding her bike and rear-ended his lamborghini.

That’s right, the woman before him was none other than the Female Police Officer, Su Mei.

Su Mei was completely stunned to find Zhang Yu at Sha Ruikang’s home.

Just what kind of status did he have?

To be invited to such a high-profile family banquet today!

This world is truly small; to run into each other here of all places.

”Do you two know each other?”

Sha Ruikang noticed something off in the eyes of the two young people.

”We’ve met, but we aren’t close,” Su Mei said.

”The car I rear-ended last time was his.”

No wonder she had seen a familiar car downstairs earlier; she had thought she was mistaken and felt suspicious.

After coming up, she realized it really was him.

”Oh?” Sha Ruikang said thoughtfully. ”So you have that kind of history. What a coincidence.”

”Indeed, I never expected Captain Su to be related to Sha Ruikang?”

”Oh, let me introduce you.”

Sha Ruikang pointed to the middle-aged man next to Su Mei and said, ”This is the Deputy Mayor of Jiang City and Director of the Police Bureau, Su Guoqiang, who is also my brother-in-law. Su Mei is my niece.”

”This must be Mr. Zhang Yu, right? Hello, I’ve heard of your reputation.”

Su Guoqiang extended his hand.

”Hello, Director Su.”

Zhang Yu also extended his hand.

To think that a small family banquet would gather the three true titans of Jiang City.

And Sha Ruikang and Su Guoqiang were actually relatives!

If these three joined forces, Jiang City would be theirs.

The level of the gathering was truly too high.

Zhang Yu felt at least a little bit nervous inside.

After all, many people wouldn’t see a scene like this even once in their lifetime.

Let alone eating at the same table.

Furthermore, the three of them all had direct mutual interests.

He was the only one who had no direct connection to them.

He was still quite surprised.

”Everyone is here, we can start eating.”

Sha Ruikang called out toward the kitchen.

Two women from the kitchen brought out the dishes.

Zhang Yu then realized they looked very similar; they were undoubtedly sisters.

That made perfect sense; they were the mothers of Sasha and Su Mei, respectively.

However, Sasha and Su Mei, this pair of cousins, didn’t look alike.

Each had her own style.

”Sasha, come out and eat!”

”Sister Su Mei, you’re here.”

In the room, a nimble figure, like a swallow returning to the woods, threw herself into the arms of Su Mei.

The two hugged enthusiastically.

”Alright, stop acting like you’re so deep in sisterly love when you clearly saw each other the day before yesterday,” Sha Ruikang ruthlessly exposed them.

”Come, come, everyone, sit.”

As the head of the household, Sha Ruikang arranged the seating for the eight people.

”Come, Zhang Yu, sit next to me!”

He beckoned.

”Ah? Is that appropriate? Mayor Jiang and Director Su are here, and my seniority is too low.”

Zhang Yu quickly declined.

No matter how it was arranged, him sitting in that position wasn’t appropriate.

”Mr. Zhang, just go ahead and sit there.”

Jiang Daqiao and Su Guoqiang said in unison, ”You are the honored guest today; you must have a drink with Secretary Sha.”

The two of them knew that Sha Ruikang had received an exceptional promotion.

Zhang Yu had played a role like using a small weight to move a thousand jin.

First, he had brought in a major project, becoming an important asset to Sha Ruikang.

Furthermore, Liang Yan had suddenly withdrawn from the competition.

Many reports pointed toward Zhang Yu.

Ever since he went to her office, many things had changed.

However, this second part was not something to be stated openly.

”Then I shall respectfully obey.”

Zhang Yu no longer declined and sat down next to Sha Ruikang.

The others also sat down one after another.

Su Guoqiang and his wife sat on the left.

Sha Ruikang’s spouse and Mayor Jiang sat on the right.

Sasha and Su Mei, the two younger generation members, sat opposite.

When looking up, one could look directly into the eyes of those opposite.

Zhang Yu watched the two of them whispering to each other, not knowing what secrets they were sharing, and occasionally they would sneak a laugh.

”Sasha, we are at the dining table, be serious.”

Su Guoqiang glared at his daughter.

”Everyone is here, let me say a few words.”

Sha Ruikang stood up. ”Thank you all for coming to this family banquet today. I’ll finish this glass!”

”Come, together, together!”

The eight people at the table all stood up.

Those who could drink alcohol drank alcohol, and those who couldn’t poured juice.

After the first glass of wine went down, everyone started eating and drinking.

Then they started chatting.

At the dining table, everyone was a bit reserved at first, but after a round of drinks, everyone became more talkative.

Chatting about various things.

”Mr. Zhang.”

Sha Ruikang asked Zhang Yu at this moment, ”I saw online that you have a financial loan company?”

”Yes, Secretary Sha.” Zhang Yu nodded. ”But it’s just a small operation, not on a large scale.”

”Then have you ever thought about expanding its scale?”

Huh?

Zhang Yu didn’t understand his meaning for a moment; he hadn’t thought about this question himself.

”Mr. Zhang,” Jiang Daqiao said, ”Old Sha means, for your financial company, do you have any thoughts about registering and establishing it as a bank?”

”Open a bank?”

Zhang Yu was even more surprised.

A financial company is easy to open, but a bank license is not easy to obtain.

In an entire province, there are only a few private banks.

Banks make money easily; by taking deposits and issuing loans, they live off the interest rate spread. It really doesn’t require much capital.

Is it that others don’t want to open one? It’s because they lack the license and the qualifications for entry.

Zhang Yu did want to draw a bank from the Blind Box system, but that depended on luck—whether he could draw one or not.

”I’ve heard of it too.”

Su Guoqiang said, ”Mr. Zhang, Old Sha wants to make some reforms in the financial sector and support a batch of emerging private banks.”

”Now that support policies are about to be introduced, do you have any interest in taking it on, Mr. Zhang?”

Sha Ruikang also looked at Zhang Yu.

He sincerely wanted to use concrete actions to thank Zhang Yu.

Giving gifts didn’t comply with regulations, and he wasn’t short of such petty change anyway.

He had just happened to see online that Zhang Yu had a loan company, and he himself intended to light a few fires in the financial sector.

Thus, he thought of this idea.

Zhang Yu ran a loan company, and under his banner, he had technology and experience.

And he was certainly not short of funds.

And Sha Ruikang had the policies and the support measures in his hands.

Registering to open a private bank would be completely effortless.

”If that’s the case, then I must thank Secretary Sha.”

Zhang Yu said, lifting a glass of wine.

”This glass, I toast you!”

Since he was willing to provide this ladder, he would just climb up it.

He didn’t need to worry too much either.

However, by transforming from a company into a ”bank,” he would not only be able to lend out money, but also legitimately accept deposits in the future.

Once he became a bank, various kinds of support would also be indispensable.

It would also sound more prestigious and impressive when mentioned.

An opportunity like this was something others couldn’t find even if they searched with a lantern.
