Just Came Into Wealth, Now Renting with Three Flight Attendants

55: Scratching her palm, Liang Yan’s probingAnd so, Zhang Yu got into the black official car.

Not long after, the car arrived at the Dami Technology Company R&D base.

Before even stepping out of the car, one could see through the window that the vast plot of land in front had been leveled. The old houses that stood there before were long gone.

As for the old Zhang family house, it was on the far side of the land, about six or seven hundred meters away, and had not yet been demolished.

”Oh, President Zhang, you’ve finally arrived.” Just as he stepped out of the car, Secretary Sha walked over to greet him from afar, his hand already extended. Quite a few people were following behind him.

There were also several people holding cameras and video recorders, walking in front of the crowd and snapping pictures rapidly.

”Hello, Secretary Sha.” Seeing Secretary Sha making such a grand display, Zhang Yu also reached out to shake his hand. Since the number one figure of Binjiang District was showing him such great respect, it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to put on airs.

”So, this is the Major Shareholder of Dami Technology Company? He’s actually so young!” a middle-aged man nearby remarked.

”Come, let me make introductions,” Secretary Sha said. ”This is Zhang Yu, the Major Shareholder of Dami Technology Company.” ”And this is Hu Zongbin, the President of the Jiangcheng Chamber of Commerce.”

”Hello!” Hu Zongbin extended his hand. ”Hello, President Hu,” Zhang Yu replied politely.

Several people nearby with long and short lenses were continuously taking photos, recording the scene. Looking at their press passes, they were from several media outlets, including Jiangcheng TV Station and Jiangcheng Daily.

”President Zhang, I invited you here today to take a look at the latest progress of the project,” Secretary Sha said. ”We completed the land leveling for this project at the fastest possible speed to facilitate the construction of the Dami Technology Company base.”

”Thank you, Secretary Sha,” Zhang Yu smiled. ”Our company will complete the commissioning as soon as possible according to the plan.”

”Since President Zhang says so, if there are any needs regarding taxes or policies, just say the word. As long as it’s within my authority, I will satisfy them all!” Secretary Sha said enthusiastically.

The R&D base of Dami Technology Company was one of the ten major projects in all of Jiangcheng, let alone Binjiang District. Therefore, Secretary Sha had to set aside all other work to personally supervise this project, which clearly showed how much importance he placed on it.

”Secretary Sha, you are too kind,” Zhang Yu smiled. ”I’ll have the company prepare a report and send it over to you later.”

”Come, let’s continue to look ahead,” Secretary Sha said. Suddenly remembering something, he asked Secretary Lin, ”By the way, have the people from the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau arrived?”

”Hello, Secretary Sha! Hello!” Just as he finished speaking, another official car drove up. Two women stepped out of the vehicle.

One was young and looked like a secretary. The other appeared to be about 35 years old, with her hair tied in a bun at the back of her head. She was wearing a black professional outfit: a small blazer and a skirt with a slit.

There was a gentle smile in her eyes. With her fair, porcelain skin, her demeanor was also outstanding. At first glance, she looked seventy percent like a local Jiangcheng celebrity, Zeng Li.

In Zhang Yu’s mind, some of her basic information appeared. Height: 165cm. Weight: 100 jin (50kg). Her native place and family situation were also listed on the second page, though Zhang Yu didn’t look at them in detail.

”Director Liang, hello,” Secretary Sha said. Then he began to introduce her to those present. ”This is President Zhang Yu of Dami Technology.” ”And this is Liang Yan from the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau. One of Jiangcheng’s famous beautiful officials!”

When Secretary Sha said this, Zhang Yu and Liang Yan looked at each other, both stunned. They didn’t expect to meet for the first time here.

He looked at Liang Yan; she was well-maintained, and although she was over forty, she looked five or six years younger than her actual age. Officialdom nourished her; her skin and figure were a dimensionality reduction strike compared to her peers. She exuded the aura of a married woman. Women of this age always radiated a special kind of charm.

Zhang Yu finally understood why the ”Cao Cao spirit” had lasted for thousands of years, not only without fading but actually growing even more pronounced. For a young man in his twenties, the attraction was simply too strong.

”Oh my, Secretary Sha really has a lot of pull. I’ve long heard of President Zhang’s reputation, but I didn’t expect you to be such a handsome man.” Liang Yan smiled and extended her right hand toward Zhang Yu.

”I see that Director Liang is also stunningly beautiful; seeing you today, the rumors are true,” Zhang Yu replied, shaking her hand. Liang Yan’s fingers were slender and soft. After the ceremonial handshake, he felt her fingers gently scratch his palm.

What was that about? He looked at Liang Yan. She said to Secretary Sha as if nothing had happened, ”Secretary Sha, this R&D base project is to be equipped with a leisure park. I wonder what your thoughts are on that?”

”Director Liang, you’re joking. I’m not very knowledgeable about culture and tourism; you are the professional here.” Both of them were of the same rank, and at this moment, they were engaging in professional flattery.

”If you ask me, this project belongs to President Zhang, so it should be up to him. What do you think, President Zhang?” Liang Yan smiled and said. Zhang Yu was cued by her again, and he smiled upon hearing this.

No wonder Liang Yan from the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau was at the scene. The site’s design plan included a 20,000-square-meter urban park, with a planned water play area and an entertainment area. It could be used by the R&D base and also be open to the citizens of Jiangcheng. It was considered an important cultural and tourism project.

The group walked around the land, inspecting and discussing the project’s construction. Time slipped away minute by minute, and two hours had passed.
