I AM the Football Star

Although the Bundesliga has four fewer rounds, its difficulty is considerably lower compared to the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A at this stage.

So many people are dissatisfied with Robben’s European Golden Boot.

Some English people even think the goal coefficient for the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 should be 1.5 or 1.75, rather than 2.

If that were the case, the prestige of the European Golden Boot would be higher.

Unfortunately, UEFA is unwilling to compromise on these details.

The coefficient of the European Golden Boot is directly linked to league ranking. If the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 were downgraded in this regard, wouldn’t the allocation of European Competition spots need to be discussed again?

Five Champions League slots for the top three leagues? Four Europa League slots?

Two Champions League and two Europa League slots for Ligue 1 and Bundesliga?

Operating this way would benefit the top three leagues, but the other leagues would suffer a significant blow.

Eventually, as Serie A declines further, La Liga and the Premier League will continue to divide the share.

In the end, one or two leagues might become overwhelmingly influential and disregard UEFA.

So the structure of the Five Major Leagues will remain unchanged.

Even if a league surpasses the Five Major Leagues, UEFA will at most let it replace one but will not reduce the Five Major Leagues to three or even one major league.

This might be unfair to the powerhouses in strong leagues, but it is fair to the overall environment.

If only Premier League teams compete in the Champions League, everyone might as well just watch the Premier League; why bother with the Champions League?

Therefore, even though Robben holds the European Golden Boot, Izalelt currently has a higher standing in this year’s Golden Ball Award and World Footballer of the Year evaluations.

The reason is that Izalelt comes from Serie A, while Robben is from the Bundesliga, where league competitiveness is inherently different, especially given Izalelt holds the Champions League!

Some follow the brotherly football path, while others adopt a dominant football approach.

The former makes friends everywhere and naturally gains widespread support when they rally.

But the latter, though having few friends, commands respect wherever they go, their orders followed by all!

Laveran from Portugal is just such a player.

He is extremely fierce, his defensive moves brutal and unscrupulous, his attitude tough, constantly stirring trouble on the pitch, and his bald head and aggressive actions have earned him the nickname Martial Monk!

Yet, he is a starting center-back for the ”noble team” Real Madrid.

Whenever he encounters any issues, the big brother Madeira from the national team and Real Madrid will always stand up to shield him.

Even his club teammate Zidane often speaks on Laveran’s behalf.

Because smart players know just how much help a fierce defensive teammate can provide to their team.

They don’t just defend against threats but also stand up when their attacking teammates are harmed, retaliating in kind!

Reporter: Italy’s firepower has finally revived after years of dormancy. As a top defensive player, are you concerned about the upcoming match?

Laveran: Revival? What revival? Are you talking about the worn-out Ancelotti and Perrotta, or that so-called Lu who hasn’t even matured yet? Trust me, they won’t breach Portugal’s gates!

Italian fans were infuriated by Laveran’s attitude and immediately dug up numerous videos of him being proven wrong, where he boasted of freezing opponents who then scored.

But what fans don’t know is that while Laveran has been wrong many times, he has fulfilled his boasts even more often.

He is the type of ”dominant” player who likes to pressure opponents this way.

Perhaps it’s not enough; once they’re on the field, they’ll act in coordination, applying pressure from multiple dimensions, causing opposing players to become hesitant and underperform.

If they can provoke the opponent, even better; Laveran is not only skilled at committing fouls but also at drawing them.

Commonly known as getting many cards but also provoking many fouls.

This is quite absurd.

Because players who provoke many fouls are often offensive players skilled at dribbling, seldom are center-backs strong in this area.

”Isn’t this guy too arrogant?” Morici commented angrily after watching Laveran’s interview.

”If he were to face off with Talista, they could turn the pitch into an octagon!” Lu Yang nodded, noting that these two players are cut from the same cloth, sparing no methods.

However, since the opponent specifically mentioned him, it indicates that he is Portugal’s main defensive target.

Soon, reporters approached Italy Team players for interviews.

Maniero manages this very strictly.

He has told the players: ”In the future, you can face interviews however you want, but not for this European Cup. For this European Cup, you must use the talking points prepared by the coaching staff to deal with reporters. If there’s no preparation, then don’t say a word.”

”Pre-match publicity is also part of our tactics.”

”I know for some newcomers, opportunities for exposure are very valuable, but trust me, as long as we advance, your exposure will be far greater than this interview.”

”Moreover... In the future, the Italy National Team will also prefer players willing to cooperate with the coaching staff in more dimensions when selecting young players. Because this is a unique Italy Team.”

”As for the veteran players, they don’t lack this exposure, so I also hope you can prepare more for the games, alright?”
