I AM the Football Star

At the same time, AC Milan has also confirmed that their play style next season will revolve around midfielder Andrés, establishing Andrés as the core.

Andrés and Sogel have become Milan’s new stars.

With Praxedes still in the mix, this AC Milan in transition seems to have a bright future.

The Serie A leader Juventus, on the other hand, gritted their teeth and renewed contracts with a group of their veterans.

Moreover... all the renewals are for two years!

Juventus’ rules have collapsed.

Ancelotti has caused Juventus’ salary system to malfunction, and Juventus’ wages will gradually rise to be a third more than they are now in the future!

Don’t think a third is a small amount; it’s enough to crush most top clubs.

In these two years, Juventus must win a Champions League title to possibly even out this account. Otherwise... the future of Juventus seems a bit worrying, at least their competitiveness in European Competition will be wiped out.

However, Juventus’ renewals are coming one after another, with the more important players being prioritized in this window.

And when the Croatian central forward Manzuyovich learned that his contract would be discussed by Juventus at the end of the window, he was already a bit angry.

Especially since Juventus will then prioritize negotiating a transfer with Bologna’s Kolber... isn’t it obvious that signing Kolber means they no longer want him?

Isn’t this... bullying an honest person?

Hu Wan was so upset he went out to eat cold noodles!

Manzuyovich quietly had his agent take a stroll through the market, and because his agent had previously communicated with Atletico Madrid, Atletico becomes one of Manzuyovich’s options.

But the uncertainty from Atletico has undoubtedly also treated Manzuyovich as a backup.

This behavior caused Manzuyovich to be hurt a second time.

He swore that if Atletico really wants him, he would demand a high salary so that Atletico would learn how to respect a still-capable big central forward.

And Manzuyovich roughly guessed Atletico’s target, considering that their people are still roaming Serie A, and there’s only one central forward in Serie A with potential for transfer now, right?

Inter’s Talista is probably to their taste?

...

”Lu, Atletico might be interested in Talista.” Manzuyovich managed to get Lu Yang’s contact and sent him this message.

Lu Yang was surprised.

Is this dude testing me?

”Morici told me you have significant influence over transfers at San Remo.” Manzuyovich proactively explained, ”Some of Morici’s friends only got out of potential conflict zones through my connections.”

That explanation made everything clear.

After all, both Morici and Manzuyovich are from Croatia.

Although Morici’s future is bright, he doesn’t have nearly the influence in World Football or in Croatia as Manzuyovich does.

Manzuyovich is the strongest star from Croatia in this period.

That status speaks volumes!

The relationship between Morici and him is equivalent to that between a young Ah Lian and an accomplished Yao Ming.

No need for two words among family, after confirming with Morici that Manzuyovich is reliable, Lu Yang got straight to the point, ”Is Atletico stringing you along?”

With just one sentence, Manzuyovich had to admit Lu Yang’s wisdom, recognizing his desire to join Atletico.

”Yes, Juventus has no intention to renew with me, and Atletico is dragging it out without any response.” Manzuyovich is an honest person, and hearing these things made everyone think the two clubs were a bit too much.

Manzuyovich wasn’t asking for much from Juventus, but they would rather give it to Kolber than to Manzuyovich.

If Manzuyovich were Ancelotti, Juventus definitely wouldn’t dare to do this!

From Atletico’s side, if Manzuyovich came on a free transfer, they could offer a high salary of four million!

Manzuyovich is fairly satisfied with this salary, but the problem is Atletico wants to delay.

If they get Talista, there won’t be any role for Manzuyovich.

By then, not much time will be left in the transfer window, and Manzuyovich might suffer a big loss.

So he’s seeking help from San Remo.

On one hand, Morici said, Lu Yang is very strong in transfer dealings and has team resources to collaborate with.

On the other hand, Manzuyovich also knows Lu Yang wants to bring Talista under his wing.

This piece of information about Atletico wanting Talista is essentially a loyalty gesture, you help me, and you’re helping yourself.

”Have your agent come back immediately, and stop running around. Also, reject those lower-league teams offering low prices, tell them you already have a new place!” Lu Yang said, ”No matter what Atletico says, just tell them you’ll think about it, don’t sign anything in advance with them.”

”What’s your ideal salary?” Lu Yang asked.

”I think it’s not unreasonable to get four million on a free transfer.” Manzuyovich truly is honest.

”Here’s the deal, don’t sign with anyone unless they offer six million!” Lu Yang stated.

Manzuyovich was taken aback, could he really earn such a high salary?

Lu Yang said, ”Come on, do you think the teams willing to sign you now are planning to use you for three years or five years? They’re not; they want to use you for just one or two years.”

”In one or two years, if you don’t earn six million euros, you’re not really making money!”

”After these two years, you can go to a smaller team and earn two to three million like it’s nothing. Don’t worry, this will work out, you helped Morici a lot, so it’s only right for me to help you ask for more.”
