I AM the Football Star

But at the same time, the barrier for top stars appeared.

Lu Yang had a premonition about this when the system was rewarding him before.

Because the system randomly or specifically brought some of his stats to 90 or 95.

Now it seems, these improvements helped him directly break through the barrier.

If left to himself, even if the stats reached that level, without completing challenges, it might still stay at 89, without a qualitative change.

This is quite real.

Because the difference between a powerful player and a top player might just be that little bit.

...

After the Champions League, Italy’s reputation soared.

But it was also at this time that La Liga made an early move.

The official media of La Liga ”revealed” that Real Madrid had reached an agreement with AC Milan regarding the transfer of Izalelt, and hinted that Real Madrid had also agreed on personal terms with Izalelt.

The Son of God, who led AC Milan to the top of the Champions League, is about to bring the glory of God to Bernabéu Stadium!

And this transfer will happen on the first day of the transfer window opening.

This deal is very likely to break last year’s record transfer of Gutierrez, becoming the most expensive transfer in history!

Boom!

In an instant, the Italian football world was shaken!

The grand edifice is about to collapse!

The twilight of the gods, this time it really has arrived!

Even Izalelt is leaving, what does Italy have left?

Don’t mention players like Carrel, Perrotta, and Ancelotti, they are all over thirty, they can’t start new journeys. Besides, their competitive level, looking worldwide, is already about to exit the top ranks.

Dominating Europe made Italy the most glamorous league this season.

But La Liga, wielding its gold shovel, dug out the cornerstones of Serie A, directly occupying and seizing the glory and traffic of Serie A.

In contrast, the Premier League seems a bit at a loss.

The Premier League won the championship for real last year and then poached Gutierrez, not giving an inch and trying to eradicate Serie A.

But the Premier League spent a lot too.

And La Liga?

La Liga just took Izalelt, and it took away most of Italian football’s glory, not losing any attention compared to La Liga producing a Champions League champion.

From an operational perspective, this time, the Premier League was completely outshone by La Liga, which did a great job with little spending.

Of course, this carries some risks.

If someone poaches Izalelt at this point, or if he stays at AC Milan ultimately, then La Liga and Real Madrid would really have egg on their faces.

Thus, Real Madrid itself didn’t want to announce in advance.

But they had no choice, La Liga was envious of the traffic, so Real Madrid had to comply.

However, La Liga did not treat Real Madrid unfairly; they promised to help Real Madrid in areas within their ability as a trade-off of interests this year.

Sure enough, as La Liga gained peak traffic at Serie A’s expense, Serie A’s official side immediately caused trouble, trying to keep Izalelt at AC Milan for another year.

AC Milan naturally wouldn’t agree.

Izalelt’s contract has a year left, if they let him go this year, they can earn fifty to sixty million.

Next year they get nothing, why would they?

Moreover, Izalelt kept his word and truly brought a Champions League title to AC Milan. At this moment, even though AC Milan fans are reluctant, they wouldn’t forcefully stop Izalelt from leaving.

So AC Milan hesitated for a while, but eventually, Real Madrid upped the offer by an additional five million euros, stating firmly that this was the final price.

As a result, AC Milan agreed to the transaction.

Meanwhile, Izalelt’s agent and family have already started looking for villas in Madrid.

All signs indicate that Izalelt is indeed leaving.

How clever was La Liga’s move?

If it were just AC Milan winning the Champions League this year, La Liga’s move would almost harvest the entire Italian football traffic.

Because Izalelt was indeed too godly this year.

Especially the Champions League final, a battle of deification, penalty, red card, comeback, weak foot goal, and last-minute winner!

This match had it all, and Izalelt was unstoppable!

However, as luck would have it... there was also a team named San Remo in Italian football this year, which won the Europa League!

Even though the Europa League cannot compare to the Champions League in professional terms.

Teams able to compete in the Champions League wouldn’t care for the Europa League.

But... it’s another European competition trophy second only to the Champions League!

It’s also a King of Europe!

Moreover, San Remo is a weak team that created a dark horse miracle, gaining momentum.

And the core player of San Remo, Lu Yang, has also played as an attacking midfielder, won the golden boot, or rather has always been winning the golden boot.

Despite different styles, who would object to calling Lu Yang the successor to Izalelt in Serie A at this moment?

Especially since Izalelt personally acknowledged his friendship with Lu Yang and thanked Lu Yang for helping them in the Champions League’s comeback!

It can be said that these connections allowed Lu Yang to seamlessly take over as the ”new Izalelt” in the eyes of the Italians after the news of Izalelt’s departure.

Initially, after Izalelt left, the vast attention gathered on him, about 80% would shift to La Liga.

Among these were many who didn’t wish to follow a new, unfamiliar league, but had no choice.

Yet Lu Yang’s sudden emergence led more than 50% of that 80% to willingly keep their focus on Serie A because Serie A now had a new Izalelt.

They want to see if this young man can, like Izalelt once did, become the glory of Italian football.
