Beneath the Red Dragon

In front of the chariot door, four warriors donning magic armor stood, the close attendants of King Gomot of the White Scale, a Frost Giant.

The elongated dragon body of King Gomot of the White Scale coiled within the chariot, its head lazily resting on its paws, occasionally licking the scales on its paws like those big cats.

This made the scales on Gomot’s forepaws appear even more magical and glistening compared to the rest of its body.

The expression on Gomot’s cheek looked extremely bored, for whether in its eyes or the eyes of other dragons in the Gogomola Dragon Group, dragons are born to soar through the skies above and the lands below using their wings.

However, the entire empire regards the invitation for the visit as very important, believing that the outing of the empire’s Dragon King should not lose its momentum and should carry majesty.

This was what persuaded these dragons who love to travel the skies with their wings.

Thus, under the crafting of those artisans, a giant chariot relying on a simplified Miser Core for floating energy and powered by the empire’s Demon Dragon was forged in a short time.

Those White Dragons accompanying White Dragon Gomot included several from the Frost Plain’s White Dragon Tribe, while the rest were dragons subdued by the Dragon Emperor of the Empire on that night.

The King of White-Scaled in the empire holds the power to govern these White Dragons, naturally needing to undertake the responsibility of supervising, training, and reforming them.

Excluding the dragons killed by the empire on the Night of Dragon Frenzy, the surviving dragons under restraint and penalty imposed by Emperor Karon Gogomola, tasked with serving in the empire to atone, totaled sixty-six.

Among them, most are White Dragon species, restrained by White Dragon Gomot.

The good news is these White Dragon species are relatively weaker than other dragon species, so not only did they survive, but their injuries healed faster.

The Giant Dragon Hallucinogenic Potion produced by the Magic Alchemy Madman Ticky was not wasted on these White Dragon species by the subsequent rapid response units, allowing these White Dragons to maintain sufficient vigor.

However, none of these dragons can match White Dragon Gomot, which grew to nineteen meters in its youth, even lying inside the massive chariot, looking like a snow-covered mound.

The flying dragons that patrol in front serve as strong species within the mortal world, averaging six meters in length, but beside White Dragon Gomot, they resemble chicks on the ground compared to a majestic eagle.

Traversing above the cities within the Golden Empire’s territory was smooth sailing, but upon passing the most southern Bay Stream City of the empire, even this seemingly strong entourage attracted some malicious glances.

This area serves as the center boundary between the Golden Empire and the outskirts of the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, and though vast, the unsealing of the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range has caused the region to gradually enter turmoil.

Disputes are incessant here, swept by monsters escaping from the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range and the ”Red Compassion” battle group of the Golden Empire.

Numerous adventurers also mingle here, attempting to reap some benefits from this complex area.

If nothing else, these adventurers could act in teams, capturing giants and other exotic beasts escaping from the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, then deliver them to the trade market in Bay Stream City.

Presently, Bay Stream City is no longer as impoverished as it once was, already the main city at the southernmost tip of the Golden Empire, more prosperous than most minor and mid-level noble cities, though not as flourishing as the Golden City.

With the ”Red Compassion” main battle corps stationed there, allowing the officials of Bay Stream City to extend their reach in all directions.

Four hundred miles east of Bay Stream City lies a coastline with towering cliffs.

The place was originally unsuitable for harbor construction, but before the artisans of the Imperial Infrastructure Management Office, no mountain remains unsolvable.

Though high-energy propellant does not dominate the empire’s military plans, it is an unrivaled tool in civilian engineering.

Though the Imperial Infrastructure Department does not enjoy using its invention to bomb fish like Goblin Bang Bang, it is particularly keen on mountain-cracking.

It seems to derive power akin to those Transcendent beings through such actions.

To complete the construction of the harbor here, Bay Stream City specially transferred the Undead Corps residing in the Forest of Sin from the Imperial Central Council.

The Sleeping Witch Demon of the empire reincarnated as the contractor once again, with the empire’s infrastructure team working during the day while the White Bone Undead emerge at night on the harbor’s construction site.

Thanks to the toil of these tireless undead corps who demand no salary, the harbor built by Bay Stream City has been in operation for several months.

Along the route from the harbor to Bay Stream City, villages and towns have arisen due to harbor trade and river transport via canal branches.

Many caravan ships arriving through the Golden Sea Route dock here, bringing ample business.

En route to return, these ships restock supplies here and procure rare birds, exotic beasts, or robust slaves for the noble lords.

Seeing the line-up appearing in the sky, these outsiders recognize that a significant figure from the Golden Empire is on tour, prompting them to stop and observe.

For a team of this configuration qualifies as an elite squad, with over a dozen dragons streaking across the sky, proving to be powerful instruments of war anywhere, agile and mighty.
