Ferocious Boss: Hubby, Let’s Get Married

Chapter 545: I’ll Finish Her Off As Long As I’m Alive

Su Zhen exuded a terrifying oppressive aura, dressed in policeman uniform made him looked even more intimidating and ascetic. He looked at Yan Qingsi with those cold eyes. It was difficult to read his emotions.

Su Zhen darted a look at Yan Mingzhu. She curled up in a ball and looked frightfully at Yan Qingsi.

“I’m here today not to record a statement but to poison her. Since you have caught me red-handed, do as you wish.” Yan Qingsi stretched out her two arms. Since he was the nephew of Mrs. Yue, she could neither quibble nor resist.

Su Zhen frowned and grabbed Yan Qingsi’s arm and dragged her all the way upstairs.

Back in the Deputy Superintendent’s office, Su Zhen slammed the door shut and shook off Yan Qingsi’s arm. “I’ll let you off this time because of my aunt and Yue Tingfeng. Since you have completed the statement, leave now and don’t come back to the police station. If you dare to do illegal things, I’ll handcuff you personally.”

Su Zhen was actually condoning and conniving and he did that all because of the face of Mrs. Yue.

And… Yan Qingsi did that to avenge for Mrs. Yue.

She did so because of her conscience.

Su Zhen decided to let her go due to her conscience.

Yan Qingsi did not move. She did not look good, her bare face was pale, severe dark circles formed under her eyes and her eyes were red-veined. Her entire body was lacking vitality, but she could still manifest a great deal of energy.

Yan Qingsi asked, “Is she really mentally sick?”

Su Zhen hesitated for a while and replied, “…positive.”

Yan Mingzhu was insane, it has been affirmed and it was rather severe.

Yan Qingsi laughed 1. “That means the stabbing could be excused?”

Su Zhen…

He also wanted very much to prosecute Yan Mingzhu and sentence her to the punishment she deserved, but… in reality, the law protected the accuse who committed crimes while mentally incapacitated.

Yan Qingsi ridiculed. “If she was lunatic, how did she make her way to Hai City all the way from Luo City while she was locked up in the psychiatric hospital in Lup City? How on earth did a crazy person find out that we are here? Who gave her the information?”

Su Zhen gazed at Yan Qingsi in disbelief. In the last two days, he had thought about what she just said and sent his people to investigate. Hearing the exact same thing from Yan Qingsi was still much to his surprise.

Since this woman is rather shrewd, why did she dare to come into the police station to kill?

Was it a suicidal act?

Yan Qingsi spoke calmly, “There could only be two reasons for Yan Qingzhu appearance in Hai City. First, she pretended to be crazy. Second, someone took her out from the mental hospital of Luo City and sent her all the way here to Hai City.”

The way Su Zhen looked at Yan Qingsi changed slightly. “You’re right. Please continue what you have also thought of.”

Yan Qingsi’s analysis was correct, which proved that she was particularly rationale, calm, and should not have done something impulsively.

“If it was the first, thing would be easier. If it was the second, then the incident this morning could repeat itself anytime.”

If it was the second situation, Yan Qingsi would be in great danger. Someone wanted to confront her but she did know who the person was.

Su Zhen said, “I’ll send special police force to protect you.”

“I don’t need it. Before the investigation became clear, protect Yan Mingzhu well, don’t release her on a bail and don’t let her be killed, of course, I’m exempted…”

Su Zhen narrowed his eyes.

Yan Qingsi stepped forward and went right up to Su Zhen. She looked tiny in front of him but her eyes were firm and cold, and she said, “You can stop me for the first time, but you can’t stop me for the second time. As long as I’m alive, I’ll finish her off sooner or later.”
