Ferocious Boss: Hubby, Let’s Get Married

Chapter 450: Just Make Sure You Both Don’t Gang Up On Me In The Future

Yan Qingsi thought of Mrs. Yue. All her facial masks and skincare products are prepared for her by Mrs. Yue.

After all these years, Mrs. Yue was the first one to care for her so meticulously.

Yan Qingsi could not help having flashbacks of her childhood.

In days of hot weather, her mother always urged her not to spend too much time outdoors to avoid heat stroke.

Yan Qingsi felt a lump in her throat. She wanted to say something, opened her mouth, but nothing came forth.

Yue Tingfeng laughed: “I can’t stop her. She’s already your hardcore fan. Your status in her heart right now is very high. She was bored of shopping and mahjong, but when I mentioned visiting you, she was trembling with excitement and just ignored me outright. Don’t worry, my mother is healthy and well. She just misses you and wants to see you. She’ll come back after a few days.”

“That…alright, my filming workload is not that heavy. When she arrives, I’ll guide her around the local attractions, and there are even some spots suitable for shopping here.”

Yan Qingsi’s gaze softened. In truth, she too, missed Mrs. Yue.

Her spent time with Mrs. Yue was the most relaxing and simple. There was no need for precautions, nor did she needed to polish her apples. Their relationship grew closer naturally, like that of a family member.

Yue Tingfeng laughed: “You both spend some time together and promote your relations. This can save you some time on adapting to your in-laws in the future. Just make sure you both don’t gang up on me in the future.”

Yue Tingfeng thought of how his mother was giving him the cold shoulder every time she saw him. He suddenly realized that the scene where he gets bullied by the two of them working together was not far off, and it may very well turn into reality.

Yan Qingsi almost bit her tongue. ‘In-laws…’

This…she suddenly felt her face heat up. In-laws…this…

“Cough…that, time’s up, I have to hurry for the filming.”

Yue Tingfeng did not want to let her off that easily. “Then you should hurry. Quick, tell me you missed me. Come on…I’m waiting here.”

“Miss you miss you, Miss you to death. Bye.”

Yan Qingsi quickly blurted those words through gritted teeth and ended the call.

Ji Mianmian was helping Yan Qingsi clean her sweat and redo her makeup: “Sis, your boyfriend…?”

Yan Qingsi was thinking of Yue Tingfeng’s face and smiled: “I suppose.”

Ji Mianmian pouted.

…

Work ended at 9pm. The temperature was hot and stuffy. Yan Qingsi took a wet towel to clean the sweat on her neck.

Yan Qingsi picked up her phone and looked at the time. Mrs. Yue should not be arriving at that kind of time. By all estimations she should be arriving tomorrow instead.

While she was in her thoughts, a flamboyant Maserati pulled over in front of her. Someone descended from the car with a bouquet of roses in his hands: “Miss Yan, would you give me the honor of having supper with you?”

Ji Mianmian stood quietly in front of Yan Qingsi. ‘Wasn’t this person the one that tried to hit on Sis Qingsi in front of the police station? Friends with Ye Shaoguang, definitely not a good person.’

Yan Qingsi took a turn and walked around You Xi: “Xiao Xu, go get the car.”

You Xi followed behind: “Sigh, Miss Yan, I really want to befriend you…”

Mrs. Yue could see a guy latching onto Yan Qingsi from afar and immediately hastened her pace, shouting: “Qingsi…”

Yan Qingsi saw Mrs. Yue and her stoic face immediately turned into a warm smile, hurrying over: “Auntie, why did you come here directly? You should’ve notified me so I could go pick you up.”

Mrs. Yue held onto Yan Qingsi’s hands: “There’s no need for you to pick me up. Tingfeng’s employee over here picked me up and sent me over.”

Having said that, Mrs. Yue looked towards You Xi and waved at him: “Sigh, youngster, you were planning to treat us to some supper? That’s wonderful. I so happen to be hungry. Lets go together. I hope you don’t mind an old woman like me coming along.”
