Ferocious Boss: Hubby, Let’s Get Married

Chapter 422: I Just Want to Hug You

Yue Tingfeng curled the corner of his lips. “Well, I say… luckily they met you. If it was me… They wouldn’t even have their pants. I would’ve thrown them on the road and called media reporters. Shift the blame onto others when they couldn’t win the game?”

Yan Qingsi laughed, the haze in her heart had finally dissipated a little.

…

The two of them came to the hospital but the staff told them that Yan Songnan’s corpse had been collected. It had been taken away by Ye Lingzhi. The detention center had agreed and signed.

Although Ye Lingzhi and Yan Songnan’s relationship had broken long ago, they had not officially deal with the divorce procedure. She was still Yan Songnan’s wife and could rightfully claim his dead body. The police had no reason to object.

Yan Qingsi clenched her fist. She was becoming more certain that it was the Ye family that killed Yan Songnan.

Yue Tingfeng made a call and wrapped his arm around Yan Qingsi’s shoulders. “Let’s go back home, we’ll attend the funeral tomorrow.”

Yan Qingsi was shocked. “That fast?”

Yue Tingfeng thought of that person—Ye Shaoguang—and said with disdain, “Of course, what did you think? How long would they leave the body? Naturally, the sooner they take care of this, the better. Moreover, I guarantee that they’ve sent it to be cremated.”

Yan Qingsi gritted her teeth. All her plans had been ruined by Ye Shaoguang.

Yue Tingfeng held Yan Qingsi and walked out. “Don’t be angry, don’t rush. I’m here. I’ll kill Ye Shaoguang sooner or later.”

The sentence made the anger in Yan Qingsi’s heart dissipate.

“I can do it myself.”

The words slipped and Yue Tingfeng suddenly leaned forward to kiss her. “In the future, if you say something wrong, you’ll be punished.”

“What did I say wrong?”

Yue Tingfeng wiped his lips with his thumb and raised his brows. “Why would I tell you? I wish that you’d say the wrong things more, then I can kiss you more.

“Let’s go back. Your number one fan is waiting for you.”

“What fan?”

“Mahjong fans, don’t you know your mahjong skill has won over people’s hearts? They admire and idolize you,”

…

At night, Yan Qingsi slept at the Yue’s house. She thought that Mrs. Yue would pull her to sleep together at night. Unexpectedly, Mrs. Yue said a while after dinner, “Ah, I’m so tired… I’m going to sleep first. The two of you should rest earlier too.”

Yan Qingsi was speechless. “…”

Yue Tingfeng stood up, raising his chin at Yan Qingsi. “Let’s go.”

“Do what?”

Yue Tingfeng picked Yan Qingsi up. “Well. Doing… what I love doing! Can’t you see? My own mother loves me. She knows how exhausting it’s been for me to be on a business trip for so many days, so she… gave us some alone time to do something on the bed.”

Without waiting for Yan Qingsi to speak, Yue Tingfeng picked her up and padded up the stairs.

Yan Qingsi thought that Yue Tingfeng was planning to pounce on her. Instead, he held her after he showered, laid in her arms, and fell asleep.

This made Yan Qingsi a bit surprised. “You…”

Yue Tingfeng snuggled down Yan Qingsi’s chest. “Sleep, I just want to hug you. I haven’t seen you for a few days. I miss you already.”

Yan Qingsi’s heart softened. “But…”

“I know you miss me too, you don’t have to say it.”

Yan Qingsi laughed. “I wanted to say… that I haven’t bathed.”

Yue Tingfeng lifted his head and kissed Yan Qingsi’s chin. “It’s fine, I don’t mind. Sleep baby, if you really want some hanky-panky, I won’t refuse.”
