Lu Yunyun’s heart raced after seeing Yue Tingfeng. Zhao Wenqi muttered softly, “See, I told you, your chance is here. I refuse to believe that Young Master Yue is blind enough to think of you as Yan Qingsi’s lesser. You are ten thousand times better than her. Let Young Master Yue fall in love with you, then your brother’s issue will be solved naturally. As for that Yan Qingsi… Hmph, when that time comes, we’ll see what she’s worth.”

Lu Yunyun’s face turned scarlet. “Stop saying that, I… I can’t do that kind of thing… CEO Yue is still Sister Qingsi’s boyfriend.”

“Don’t be dumb. Don’t you know what’s Yan Qingsi is like? She’s already slept with all the men in the film crew. You are actually saving Young Master Yue, do you know that?”

“But I…”

“No buts, let’s go. I can see Young Master Yue’s gaze fixed on you all this while.”

Zhao Wenqi dragged Lu Yunyun all the way to the front of Yue Tingfeng. “Greetings, Mr. Yue. Yunyun has something to discuss with you.”

Lu Yunyun mustered up her courage, blushed and said, “Greetings to you Chief Yue. I’m sorry for my previous unannounced interruption. I have no bad intentions. My brother is working for your company. He is a very hardworking and capable person, but ever since he joined the company he was constantly suppressed by his superior. Recently my brother’s superior made an erroneous bidding document but he put the blame on my brother, forcing my brother to bear responsibility for a mistake he did not commit. I believe that your company is a well-established company, and as such, will surely not have your employee suffer such unfair treatment. I hope Mr. Yue can help clear my brother’s name.”

“What’s your brother’s name?”

Lu Yunyun thought that success was near, excitedly spoke out, “My brother is Lu Qingzhe. Thank you, CEO Yue, thank you…”

Yue Tingfeng made a phone call. “Jiang Lai, check if our company has someone named Lu Qingzhe.”

“There’s such a person, I know of him. This person always tries to evade work, comes into the office just to laze around. Last time he made an erroneous bidding document, almost incurred a few hundred million loss to our company. He is now on unpaid leave while being investigated.”

Jiang Lai and Lu Yunyun’s words were contradicting each other. Between these two, there were no hesitation of whose words to believe.

Yue Tingfeng answered in a disdainful tone, “What investigation with unpaid leave? Just fire him immediately. My company does not keep trash.”

Lu Yunyun was dumbstruck. Why did it turn out this way? Did he not already agree?

“You… You…”

Yue Tingfeng sneered. “Now, it’s time to talk about my business.” He raised his voice. “Bring those stuff up here.”

Lu Yunyun and Zhao Wenqi were shocked, seeing that more than ten people lugging huge charcoal burners. Waves of heat could be felt from afar.

The charcoal burners were arranged in a circle, surrounding Lu Yunyun and the rest.

Yue Tingfeng crossed his legs, with a sinister face. “Don’t you all have a strong body, standing under the sun for two hours and still be fine? Bask in the sun for a while longer.”

Eye for an eye, hand for a hand. They shall be treated in the same way as how they treated Yan Qingsi. The movie was still in progress, he cannot kick them out, nor lock them up, or it would affect Yan Qingsi as well. ‘I could still sun you to death. Not only for today, even for the days to come.’

Lu Yunyun’s face roasted to a toasty red. “CEO Yue, what’s the meaning of this? Why are you doing this to me?”

The day’s temperature was already hot to start with. Together with the wall of charcoal burners around them, they felt as though their clothes and hair were being burnt to a crisp, feeling of lightheadedness growing with the heat.

Yue Tingfeng laughed with a demon-like smile on his face. “Why? You bullied my woman and you f*cking dare to feign innocence.”
