Raising Yanderes to save the world

”I...need...to get it...back...”

Seraphina’s vision was blurry, but she tried her best to clear it. She could see the world around her fading as she tried to blink and clear her eyes.

But the horrible feeling of being alone and wanting to fulfill the missing piece inside her was threatening to take her over. It was making her feel horribly lonely in a way she had never felt before.

Her body did not feel like her own. It was almost as if someone else was controlling her, and she could do nothing but allow that foreign entity access to her life and body. It felt horribly right and terrifying at the same time.

”You need to get it back? Get back what? Seraphina, say your words clearly.”

Leon asked her with gritted teeth, but Seraphina shook her head. She could not explain the feelings inside her, but she just knew that she needed to get back something.

Her eyes looked at Iris and Elena next, and her hands twitched as if to move.

The pair noticed her actions and took a conscious step back. But they did not say anything to try and change her mind...

Instead, they took a defensive stance, and Elena even took out her staff to force her back if she needed to.

”Don’t...resist...it will...be brief...no! What am I saying...?”

Seraphina’s head was starting to hurt from the splitting pain she was feeling, but as much as she tried to control it, she was not able to bring herself to even gather her power.

Every time she tried, it was as if her power was slipping out of her fingertips and gathering outside her body. It was a horrible feeling.

”Kael...”

She tried to call out the name of the one person who could hold her together, and it helped. The power that was telling her to take what she was missing went silent, and Seraphina was able to take a deep breath.

Finally, she looked at Kael with her bright eyes and a smile on her face.

”Everyone, I think we have a problem. Something is trying to control my body...Ugh...”

The splitting headache came back with a vengeance, and Seraphina felt like she was dying. The thing inside her was threatening to take over her senses in an instant.

Seeing her struggle made the other three in front of her even more confused. Meanwhile, Lyra was trying her best to stand up, but her legs were shaking too hard.

”This seems like trouble that we need to look into more deeply. I am going to knock you out, Seraphina. Do you have a complaint regarding this?”

Leon asked, and Seraphina tried to shake her head at him. But instead of being able to shake her head, her body decided to throw a bolt of divine power his way.

”You! Stay away from me...! Ugh, I did not mean to do that. But my body...I don’t think you should approach me, Leon.”

Seraphina pointed out, and Leon nodded before hesitantly taking a step back. His actions made Seraphina feel better, and she turned toward the other two, only to notice that Iris was nowhere to be seen.

”Where...”

She tried to turn back, but Elena’s powers held her in place. A pair of bony hands grabbed her body, and Iris knocked her out the next second.

Seraphina’s body shook before her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and she fell down.

The surroundings went silent once Seraphina went down, and Leon let out a sigh of regret as he looked down at her face.

”What the hell is going on? I don’t like whatever is happening. Does anyone have any idea?”

He turned to look behind him, only to see blank faces looking back at him. It made him sigh, and he shook his head in regret.

”Right, we are all in the same boat here. For now, we will need to keep her isolated in a barrier so that she does not do anything weird anymore. I will take care of this. Elena, you should take care of Lyra. She seems to be in pain. And Iris...I am tasking you with taking care of Kael.”

Leon divided the roles, only for Lyra to start complaining.

”What do I need to be taken care of by someone? I am perfectly fine. Can’t you see—”

She tried to stand up, but her legs gave up halfway, causing her to collapse.

Elena immediately helped her up, but she looked tired as well. She could feel something inside her being sapped away by a foreign power.

She was not the only one losing a part of her soul, as Iris was facing the same issue on her end. So she could only nod at Leon’s suggestion, and they headed up.

Leon watched them leave before he turned toward Seraphina and grabbed her unconscious body.

But the second he touched her, a wave of repulsion hit him like it had never hit him before.

It was a familiar feeling, but the reason it was coming from Seraphina was unknown. Moreover...

”Can a saintess even be corrupted? If so, then it seems like I chose the wrong partner to come in time with. But everyone else seems to be alright. Why is only Seraphina corrupted?”

He questioned as he reached for her, only for Seraphina’s eyes to snap open. She gave him a startling look, which made Leon tense up.

”Pawn of the god...do you think you can stop me?”

Seraphina whispered in a voice that was clearly not hers. But Leon could also not deny that it felt like she was speaking directly to him.

Her words made him tense up, and he tried his best to hold his shudder back.

”What do you mean by these words—”

”Are you going to pretend you do not know? Why are you all like this? You only pretend to give me an answer when you are sure I won’t be able to make use of it. But I will no longer fall for it.”

Seraphina paused and started to giggle. And then it turned into a full-blown laugh.

”This world is mine now, and there is nothing you can do about it.”
