Reborn As Noble

Gloria stood behind Javier, her expression perfectly composed, but her thoughts were simmering.

Ugh! The young master is a prince! Why does he need to listen to what this shithead wants?

If he doesn’t want to help his own people because of his stupid pride, just leave him.

If it were me, the moment he hesitated, I’d have walked out.

This shithead should be prostrating himself on the floor, kneeling in front of the young master, begging for mercy and help.

He should even kiss his feet to ask for forgiveness.

Ugh! Why does the young master even bother to help someone who can’t make up his own mind?

If it were King Garius, I’m sure this Garzin would already be flat on the floor, shivering, while the King stood over him, looking down with that cold, unreadable gaze.

Gloria’s fingers tightened slightly at her sides, her smile never wavering, but her eyes held a sharp, protective edge.

I want to take out my warhammer and crush the table right beside him, force him to seal everything!

This discussion is taking too much of our precious time!

What’s so hard about it!? Can’t he read? There’s a mention in the document that if he wants a loan or additional help in the future, he can request it officially!

There’s also a section stating that the profits from the new trading hub, the port, and other ventures belong solely to his household. They only need to repay the reconstruction costs and other terms as a long-term loan.

How can someone who attended a proper noble school be this indecisive? Weak-minded, spineless, can’t even make a decision to save his own people!

If he can’t rule or decide, he should hand over the ruling to his wife. Then he can just lie down and... entertain himself while waiting for the money and living as a noble.

Sigh... why does my young master need to waste time on this?

He could be back at the estate, relaxing, inventing something new, or spending time with us. Instead, he’s here, negotiating with a man who can’t see the lifeline being offered to him.

Gloria adjusted her glasses.

If this matter settles fast, I could persuade Liana for our time later.

Then the young master will have time with me.

Ah~ Can’t wait for it.

Gloria... you are a graceful girl. A proper lady. You don’t look desperate, you don’t act needy. You’re poised, elegant, and in control.

The young master will surely want to ravish me the moment we’re alone.

And his hand earlier was a clear sign... tehe~ I know he’s already pent up... and I’m sure he can’t wait for the opportunity.

The only problem is this spineless man! Decide already, shithead!

Don’t waste our precious time. Seal everything!!

Garzin, who was deep in discussion, suddenly noticed Gloria’s aura turning sharp and intimidating. He glanced down at his trembling hands and swallowed hard.

”Your Highness... if you don’t mind... could I request... a sum... in gold coins... for immediate needs?”

”Hmm? You want it now, or should my soldiers deliver it later?” Javier asked casually, already pulling out the separate money loan parchment. ”Ah, now that you mention a loan, I believe Tybalt doesn’t have a proper banking system yet. Part of the terms includes Armand opening a merchant guild branch and a secure banking facility here, among other things.”

Gloria bit her lower lips.

If this takes much longer, I will take out my warhammer right here. And crush that table, force this spineless man to put his seal on everything!

My precious time with the young master is being wasted because of this man.

Gloria kept glaring at Garzin before her gaze settled on Javier beside her.

Ah~ My handsome Javier~

This beautiful second wife, a half-elf who ranks first in your favorite assets, is ready for you anytime~

Meanwhile, outside, inside the transport drone.

Liana shivered hard.

Her eyes narrowed, arms crossed, biting her lower lip.

Ugh! I’m sure Gloria is enjoying her time right now!

And judging by how she was adjusting her glasses, her gestures, and the way she followed the young master, I’m sure she’s planning something.

”Liana?” Felicia called softly.

”Hmm? Yes?” Liana glanced up and smiled. ”What is it, third wife?”

”Umm... I’m just curious. You suddenly went quiet.”

”Ah... it’s nothing. Just waiting for our husband, and wondering what’s taking them so long.” Liana checked her mana watch. ”I believe they’ve been inside for more than an hour already.”

”Nya! That’s true! It’ll be evening soon!” Mimi suddenly jumped in, tail swaying, hugging Liana from the side and rubbing her cheek against her. ”I can’t wait to ride that cruise thing, nya!”

Delya, who was enjoying a piece of chocolate, smiled dreamily. ”Ah~ Danna-sama and the cruise~ I’m sure there will be something fun on it. Perhaps a nice dinner under the stars... or a slow, romantic sail.”

Felicia leaned in the moment Mimi left Liana and began bothering Delya by stealing one of her chocolate pieces and darting away, laughing.

”Nyahahahaha! I got one!”

”Mimi!!!” Delya screamed, puffing her cheeks and stomping her foot from her seat.

Mimi stuck her tongue out and teased Delya while her tail swayed in delight.

Delya tried to chase Mimi, but the nimble beastkin princess darted around the interior of the drone, laughing mischievously.

The Pekko were laying down outside the transport drone, while Buddy stood waiting in front of the manor’s main door, his sharp eyes fixed on the Tybalt soldiers.

”Liana...” Felicia whispered, her voice soft.

”Hmm? Yes, Felicia?” Liana leaned closer, her voice gentle.

”About... um... the... you know... later...” Felicia kept her voice low, her cheeks slightly flushed.

Liana simply smiled, her expression warm and reassuring. ”Don’t worry... you’ll have your time soon~”

”But...” Felicia fidgeted, her ears twitching nervously. ”What if... what if I’m not... ready yet?”

”Hmm? If you’re not ready, our husband won’t force it, you know~” Liana patted her shoulder gently. ”He’s not that kind of person. He’ll wait until you’re comfortable. There’s no rush, Felicia.”

Seeing Felicia nod shyly, Liana smirked playfully.

”Don’t worry about it. If you’re not ready, that’s good... for me~”

Felicia’s eyes widened slightly, then she let out a soft, flustered laugh, shaking her head. ”You’re terrible, Liana.”
