Marvel: All My Incarnations Are S-Class Villainesses

Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Three Beautiful Girls Can’t Make Up Half a Diligent Person

After that, a few more days of peaceful life passed.

I have to say, those two million dollars were really lasting.

Sumire had been happily playing the rich woman for so many days, with fried chicken and cola never leaving her hands and the air conditioning running twenty-four hours a day.

As a result, when checking the balance, that string of zeros had barely decreased.

After all, Sumire was someone who didn’t invest in startups, nor did she buy luxury bags.

Even when buying clothes, she went to the budget discount store downstairs, and would even haggle with the owner for a long time over a few dollars of change.

This caused Reze and Perona to rarely unite their front, relentlessly roasting the main body for a full hour.

”You’re already a millionaire, why are you still buying this kind of cheap street-stall stuff for dozens of dollars!” Perona pointed at Sumire’s T-shirt in frustration.

Sumire couldn’t help it; she was used to being poor.

One could only say this was the price of being raised poor.

It resulted in her not knowing how to squander her money even though she was now rich.

Maybe if Sumire were raised rich for a few more years, this ’condition’ might improve a bit?

Sumire couldn’t even be considered ’raised poor’; she simply wasn’t raised at all—a wild Pokémon.

She had no idea how to spend money.

However, Sumire was very generous to her Incarnations; she didn’t mistreat Reze or Perona at all.

Food, drinks, daily necessities, clothes—whatever they wanted, Sumire bought. Yet, she still couldn’t escape the roasting from her two Incarnations.

”Please, you’re the main body, be better to yourself!” Perona paced around anxiously. ”You’re way too gentle like this!”

Reze commented, ”A woman like this would definitely be a very virtuous wife if married...”

Sumire: ”...”

...S.H.I.E.L.D. temporary surveillance point.

Black Widow Natasha was holding binoculars, staring at the tightly closed curtains with a furrowed brow.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had naturally been monitoring this place, or more precisely, monitoring that extremely dangerous ”Bomb Devil.”

But after a few days, even a top Agent like Natasha hadn’t seen a damn thing.

”Too quiet... abnormally quiet.”

Natasha reported over the communication channel.

During these days, the target codenamed ”Bomb Devil” hadn’t stepped out the door at all.

There was only a thin Asian girl who occasionally went out to throw away trash or buy snacks at the convenience store, but most of the time, she just went downstairs to pick up takeout.

As for that pink-haired loli glimpsed in Harlem who was suspected of having mind-control abilities, not even a shadow of her had been seen.

Black Widow felt that while her last ”convenience store diplomacy” had established initial contact, it had certainly exposed her surveillance intentions.

Reasonably, someone targeted by S.H.I.E.L.D. would either flee in panic or lash out in anger due to being watched.

But these three... they were this composed?

They don’t even go out?

Are they preparing some big move?

Natasha naturally reported this unusual ”calm” to Nick Fury.

Director’s Office.

Nick Fury looked at the file on Sumire in his hand, a wise glint flashing in his single eye.

”Sumire, 18 years old, orphan.”

”Grew up in an orphanage in Hells Kitchen, ran away the night before being adopted. Worked under the table for a living, even running errands and delivering goods for gangs. Later, she seemed to want to go straight, working several part-time jobs at convenience stores and fast-food joints...”

Fury closed the file, his fingers tapping on the desk.

”Hmm, a very typical person from Hells Kitchen.”

”How could an ordinary girl living at the bottom of society suddenly strike it rich and then appear in a high-end apartment in Queens? And live with that extremely dangerous Bomb Devil?”

Fury’s gaze became sharp; he felt he had seen through to the truth:

”Natasha, there is only one truth—”

”And that is, she has been kidnapped by that Bomb Devil!”

Fury’s voice was firm. ”Think about it. A helpless orphan is the best object of control. That demon used money to tempt her, or simply threatened the poor girl’s safety to make her an Agent in human society, running errands for that evil organization!”

”Even...”

Fury’s tone became somewhat somber. ”They don’t go out because that demon is subjecting her to some kind of brainwashing or... torture?”

Natasha, on the other end of the comms, was speechless.

Hearing all these conspiracy theories made her feel a bit embarrassed for him.

If it weren’t for their superior-subordinate relationship, she really wanted to say:’Sir, have you been reading too many of those banned novels confiscated from Agents?’

It was lucky that Sumire and Reze were the same gender.

Otherwise, at the speed of Fury’s imagination, he’d probably have hallucinated a million-word novel titled ’The Domineering Demon’s Forced Love: The Imprisoned Little Runaway Wife.’

Of course, although she felt Fury was overthinking it, Black Widow also leaned towards the belief that Sumire was a ”little sidekick” running errands for Reze.

”Reze must have sensed something, which is why she isn’t coming out and is only letting Sumire, an ordinary person, move around outside,” Natasha wrote in her report... However.

Whether it was the battle-hardened Black Widow or the cunning King of Spies, they were both completely wrong.

These three didn’t go out not because they were preparing a big move, nor because of any imprisonment or brainwashing.

It was purely because—

Laziness.

Yes, nothing else, just laziness.

These three were each lazier than the last.

Not to mention Perona, a typical Gothic shut-in who seemed allergic to sunlight. Give her a bed and a stuffed animal, and she could stay in one spot for years.

Reze was the same. After experiencing a hellish Agent’s life and countless killings, she was now enjoying the ”ordinary happiness” she had dreamed of.

For her, waking up naturally every day, drinking sweet coffee, and teasing the main body—this life was simply incomparable to anything else.

A wife, children, and a warm bed—as for who was the wife and who was the child, don’t ask!

Anyway, that kid was quite rebellious and even kept an ugly, big, fat bear.

As for Sumire, she was even more of a heavyweight.

A classic case of ”revenge vacation” after a worker strikes it rich.

Back when Reze was getting beaten up and blowing up streets on the front line, her feet never even touched the ground; she had been lying in bed watching the show.

Now that she had money, air conditioning, and Kumashi as free labor, she’d have to be crazy to go out often.

It’s just that the Marvel Universe has too many threats, with villains popping up every now and then wanting to destroy the World.

Otherwise, these three sisters really could slack off in this apartment until the end of time.

Of course, slacking off aside.

Sumire had certainly noticed S.H.I.E.L.D.’s surveillance long ago.

Natasha’s ”convenience store diplomacy” that day was polite, but that was the Black Widow.

This was definitely no coincidence.

But Sumire had no other choice.

She couldn’t just evacuate after staying for only a few days when she had just paid a month’s rent, right?

It wasn’t that she cared about that little bit of rent.

She really didn’t care about that bit of rent!

Mainly... S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA were like two kinds of cockroaches in a kitchen.

Well... or rather, they were essentially one and the same.

Not to mention being in New York—even if she were anywhere in the United States or on Earth, where could she escape their surveillance?

Move? Move where? Wakanda?
