Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 639: Chapter 429: Slaying the Yeti, Splitting Forces

Although Zong Shen was not afraid of the Yeti, he did not underestimate this beast either.

From any perspective, the Frosty Snow Beast is an outright mad monster.

Because of the last Burrow Challenge.

Zong Shen and most Lords had already gotten used to facing thousands upon thousands of monster hordes.

At first, upon seeing the announcement, it was stated that during Phase Two of Frosty Winter, only ten thousand Yetis would refresh in each area.

He found it a bit too few, ten thousand monsters following the standards of the Burrow Challenge weren’t even enough for Zong Shen to fill the gaps between his teeth, but now Zong Shen finally understood that the number of ten thousand Yetis per area was reasonable after all.

These Frosty Snow Beasts not only possess formidable Frost Magic Talent, with a skill tier as high as Level 40.

But they were similar to guys like Zong Shen who cultivated in both magic and martial arts.

At Level 40, the Frost Arrow with a 3.0 times multiplier for Magic Damage was terrifying to mention alone.

Not to mention its pair of fists as massive as sandbags.

Once such monsters appear in scale, it’s slaughter for the Lords.

Even though the refresh quantities of the Yetis were limited and they operated individually.

It still posed a ”Challenge” for the vast majority of Lords.

To gain Points, become stronger, or survive, one must fight, there is no way to simply lie down and win.

At this time, Wenresa beside Zong Shen also snapped out of her chaotic thoughts.

She was shooting arrows with focused intensity, launching disruptive attacks against the jumping Yeti.

If it weren’t for the blush on her cheeks yet to fade, it would seem as if the pretty amorous scene from before hadn’t happened at all.

Not far away, the Yeti fiercely leaped toward the Two-headed Hellhound fleeing to the rear.

Its huge feet crossed six to seven meters distance before heavily landing on the icy surface.

Leaving two cracks upon the thick solid ice.

The viscera flowing from its abdominal wound swung continuously in front of it.

Making the onlookers feel an inexplicable pain.

There’s a kind of pain called hurting just by seeing.

No one knew whether it was due to the Yeti’s tenacious life force or because of the modifications from the Lord System.

This mad form had long surpassed the display expected from normal life forms.

Favide, witnessing this scene, quickly commanded the Hellhound to alter its escape direction.

Avoiding involving the Mages, including himself, standing in the back.

Just as the Yeti crazily pursued, the second round of Giant Crossbow Tower attacks arrived.

Four large crossbow bolts shot forth with a sonic boom.

Favide gave another order, causing the three Hellhounds to loosen their jaws.

For the snowmen in a mad sprint, those three Hellhounds were nothing more than three large hanging ornaments.

Favide was most worried about his Woof Woof Team getting mistakenly hit by the Giant Crossbow Tower.

Though those Defense Towers had the ability to differentiate between allies and enemies, those fired crossbow bolts wouldn’t turn.

If a Hellhound accidentally got hit, it would still suffer damage.

Even for allies, there was no pure protection status.

Once the three Hellhounds detached, crossbows from four directions struck the Yeti.

[-136]

[-134]

This time, with no Ice Armor in the way, the crossbows penetrated directly through its body.

The powerful impact force forcibly halted the mad sprint of the Frosty Snow Beast.

These four strikes caused a whopping 541 damage points.

However, they did not reduce its Life Value.

Because the effect of the Snow’s Pet still existed.

All these damages were absorbed.

Nevertheless, the crossbow bolts through the body still resulted in an almost tearing effect on its body.

Severely slowed its Action Power.

After all, as a creation of the Lord System, even if Action Power is greatly affected, life force remains undiminished.

As long as Life Value hasn’t completely drained, its aggression persists.

This is one of the challenges posed by it as a challenge monster.

Which normal monster can expose its viscera and intestines yet still bounce around merrily?

Only monsters of the Undead Race and a few special races can achieve this.

Even Abyssal Monsters and Hell Creatures, if severely damaged, would experience a decline in fighting power.

The Frosty Snow Beast has already acquired certain puppet traits, appearing less like a living creature, more like a warlike weapon.

Restricted by the crossbow bolts, it was forced to stop its pursuit and began bouncing on the spot.

Trying to remove the embedded crossbow bolts from its body.

The scene appeared oddly eerie.

The ice layer that had long frozen into one quivered continuously under its jumping.

Zong Shen slightly turned his head, he had thoroughly deciphered the traits of the Frosty Snow Beast.

”Speed up the actions, kill it.”

”Favide, it’s up to you to deliver the final blow.”

He shouted deeply, not wanting to waste more time on this creature.

Upon receiving Zong Shen’s directive, the warriors’ attack became instantly fierce.

The Dragonized Spear and Shield Warriors approached steadily holding long spears and heavy shields.

The smooth ice surface prevented them from moving too fast, but the sense of oppressive approach became even more pronounced.

The Wolf Cavalry raised their sabres, charging forward again amidst low roars.

The sharp claws of the Warg ensured minimal loss in maneuverability on the ice surface.

Simultaneously, Doris raised her Magic Staff, rapidly approaching the Frosty Snow Beast.

She only stopped once she was forty or fifty meters away from it.

She began the second round of magic chanting.
