Global Lords: I Have Information System

b, Sheriff means noble. It is often used as a name or a title. Additionally, former President of Pakistan Musharraf is also derived from this root word, meaning someone in charge.

There’s another position called Asharif which means the most noble, often used as a title for a manager.

This week, a netizen found Digital Cover Rice, claiming that the 799 Yuan education version AirPods they bought were counterfeit. They requested a return but instead got accused by the seller of swapping the product. In the past, sellers did not dare handle things this way when exposed, but now they directly provide evidence to prove product swapping. We will delve into this matter at the end (the netizen is reluctant to share screenshot information, so we will only discuss the outcome and skip the process).

Long ago, Digital Cover Rice emphasized multiple times that if you want to purchase authentic AirPods, you must buy them through official channels. At present, you cannot find the authentic original AirPods you desire on Xianyu. Even if there are some, their prices will be overshadowed by cheaper knockoff ”AirPods” (Xianyu’s algorithm shows lower prices and more clicks). When the price is too high, you don’t want to buy, resulting in a vicious cycle, where you only see knockoff ”AirPods” priced at a few hundred Yuan.

Some people always think they can snag an authentic AirPods for a few hundred Yuan?

Why are there so many scammers? Mainly because there is such a group of people who believe as long as they spend enough time on Xianyu, they can snag an authentic AirPods without realizing the more they look, the more Xianyu will recommend AirPods to them, and the price gets cheaper and cheaper until they buy.

Another heavily affected area is authentic second-hand second generation AirPods priced between 500-700 Yuan (currently, some middlemen understand the mainstream mentality, they say within circles: the more expensive the purchase, the better the sales). For now, those who understand the AirPods technology from Huaqiang North know ”How can one tell male from female?”, using top-end Yuehu 1562M proximity sensor to deceive people in these groups, likely to succeed, entirely one-to-one, popup, positioning, rename, proximity sensor ear detection etc.

Additionally, this group of people believe in the serial number. As everyone knows, every sealed Apple product has a barcode like our ID card. When you query this barcode on the official website, it shows everything unactivated, feeling real, even now many people who bought knockoff ”AirPods” don’t know what they bought are fake (the serial number for knockoff ”AirPods” can be customized as desired, Digital Cover Rice’s serial number can be customized with one’s name in pinyin as well).

How do fraudsters achieve this?

Due to the aforementioned events, disputes arise on Xianyu: a user spent 799 to buy a so-called education version ”AirPods”, then discovered they couldn’t switch multi-device connection. Through online sources, they found they bought Yuehu 1562M from Huaqiang North, therefore communicated with Xianyu’s vendor for a refund.

Note: Digital Cover Rice found many AirPods priced in the hundreds are sold for astonishingly consistent reasons, with high similarity in copy, all are ”split up, given by an ex”; ”company raffle prize”; ”gift not given away”; ”bought education version but lacks money to quickly recover funds” etc. (in this text the user still claims their younger sister secretly bought one, poor family economic conditions anything and so on. Digital Cover Rice finds that Xianyu doesn’t sell products, it sells stories! Does it not?).

At this time, Xianyu’s vendor will present a proof of purchase, also including a serial number on an invoice from an Apple store, and the serial you queried on the official website is consistent, then all the overwhelming evidence is papered over, saying you swapped their earbuds, and when you seek a refund, you become the scammer.

Evidently, once such a thing happens, once you sign for the delivery, you can never return the goods again, it’s directly the finale, hoping Xianyu official releases corresponding rules. But Digital Cover Rice also believes Xianyu is hard to handle, what if the seller indeed swapped? This kind of thing, actually both parties might swap, oh! Too tough.

As ordinary consumers, Digital Cover Rice again urges when buying authentic AirPods, you must choose official channels to purchase, penny wise pound foolish, if at this point you’ve already bought, afraid this swindle will occur on oneself, advise filming the entire unboxing, testing multi-device switch (filming can only add another piece of evidence for your refund request, not determinative, some peers tested).

In summary, this trick, sellers always lead users by the nose, who knows when a new trick will emerge, like the previous refund address being in Hong Kong, Xianyu auctions (you can check past Digital Cover Rice account posts for Xianyu scam prevention guide, click text topic at the top to enter), linked ring by ring, all you can do is stay away, for the above cases, if you have good ideas, you are welcome to the comment section for exchange, of course buying some books, potted plants, home goods etc., Xianyu is still a good place, veteran buying phone and such is also okay, Xianyu is a good platform.

PS: Currently, all Digital Cover Rice sales use manufacturer packaging (hopes those with tight budget can also experience technological strength, also want industry to be more transparent), on one hand original factory film can better 360° protect earbuds locally, also guarantees earbuds are brand new, on the other hand, avoids those with ill intentions using them to sell as genuine.
