Villain Extra: Rogue Reader

Many students deposited the required Stellan Points into the formation and waited by the arena.

Since Ray made it clear that he was going to have one match only, it was obvious that he planned on fighting them all at once.

Although it hurt some of their pride, they didn’t care much about integrity or honor.

After all, Ray was beyond arrogant and deserved everything that would befall him.

These Stellan Points were the currency used in the academy. Almost everything available in the academy required them to access things.

One could earn Stellan Points through merits, grades, missions, trades, or through competition like this in the Arena Section.

As for why Ray was able to eat food in the cafeteria that should only accept Stellan Points, it wasn’t the first day of school yet.

Therefore, the cafeteria temporarily accepted coins with respect to the newly admitted first-year students, which is why the other seniors took advantage of this period to order food without needing to use their precious Stellan Points.

Naturally, Ray didn’t deposit a single Stellan Point into the formation. He was penniless, alright.

The others didn’t even call it out since they knew he was broke.

”Only 6 people?” Ray raised an eyebrow and glanced at the crowd.

Four males and two females...

’Ugh, math is hard...’ He scratched his head and turned to Belva.

”1,800 Stellan Points in total,” Belva reported. She didn’t even need him to ask any questions to understand what he wanted to know.

”Is that enough?” He asked softly. His meaning being that if it was enough for him to use the points as an excuse for skipping classes.

”It will last for about 2 weeks or so.” She answered. It was truly exhausting for her to even answer such a question.

Nobody in history had ever used Stellan Points to skip classes.

Yet that history was about to be changed because Ray was so intent on skipping classes and slacking off.

Belva also never doubted once that Ray was capable of doing so.

”Only 2 weeks, eh...” Ray murmured with a frown.

While he was frowning in place, the other six students who were waiting at the arena began to lose their patience.

”Are you entering the arena or not, bastard?”

”Hurry up and get beat up here! There’s no point in chickening out now!”

”If you dare to chicken out, we’ll report you for fraud and have you penalized before school even starts!”

The students’ threats weren’t empty words. Once an agreement of the bet was made and the deposit was made, there was no backing off.

The only exception was if there was a real emergency or a professor intervened, but such cases were extremely rare.

To put it in a ratio, it was 1 in every 1000 matches that there would be a nullification of the bet.

That was just how rare it was to cancel a bet made in the Arena Section.

”Calm your horses, nobodies!” Ray yawned and stared at the other hostile students in the crowd.

”Seriously, nobody else wants to join this once-in-a-lifetime event? Or are you all afraid of my power or charmed heavily by my handsome face that you don’t have the heart to attack me?”

SWOOSH!

In the blink of an eye, three more male students deposited their points and joined the arena.

”Belva?” Ray quickly turned to her and asked.

”2,700 points.” Belva smiled bitterly and updated the count.

”Much better.” Finally, Ray nodded and found this point much more acceptable. Not everyone present had that many points at hand, to begin with.

Therefore, it wasn’t that they were being cowards. Instead, they lacked the points to even place their deposit to join.

”You all lucked out by not having enough points. Otherwise, you will definitely cry miserably.” He pointed at those who clearly lacked the points and taunted them heavily.

Precisely at this moment, two newcomers had arrived at the Arena Section.

”I was wondering what the commotion was about, and it seems to be another interesting event.” One of them mused and stared at Ray.

”It’s him again...” Their companion’s facial complexion also changed slightly when they spotted Ray once again.

The two of them were none other than George Windall and William.

Initially, George was planning on splitting up with William to make his way to the Windall Workshop, but he overheard students clamoring about a big commotion at the Arena Section.

Since he was bored, George decided to take a look at the situation first.

William was also somewhat curious and wondered what the Arena Section was about, too. Thus, he followed along, only to encounter Ray for the nth time.

’How come our paths keep crossing?’ William still couldn’t quite fathom who Ray truly was.

He never had a good read on people until he interacted with them for a bit longer, such as Sylas.

However, William had interacted with and met with Ray quite a few times by now.

Each and every single time he thought Ray was a bad person, the reality seemed to say otherwise.

He had misunderstood him twice and never found the chance to apologize for his action, but now, he was once again uncertain.

”This student really is too arrogant. The first thing he does after coming here is to call everyone a dog.”

”How did the Crestellan Academy even accept someone like him?”

”What a big villain!”

’Villain? So is he really one or not?’ William’s brows furrowed tightly.

He was starting to lose his sanity and rationality regarding the person named Ray.

While the crowd grew larger, the audience even expanded to the Professor’s Lounge.

”Hoh, isn’t this the student who made a scene with the Fourth Prince?” A passerby Professor noticed the large projection screen and asked curiously.

”Yeah, it’s him. The very same student who caused Clark to have a beautiful massage in the back.” Another Professor who sat on the couch confirmed their question and even took a jab at Clark.

”Do you want to fight?” Clark’s mood was rather sour because of recent events.
