Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World

Chapter 2229: Full-on Preparation

This time, Zhao Hai was truly surprised. Before this, he was just pretending because he was already privy to some information.

Wang Da’s words surprised Zhao Hai. Wang Da basically confirmed that the Demonic and the Devil Factions have allied with each other. Moreover, they were preparing to attack the Righteous Faction. The rumors were actually true.

Looking at Zhao Hai’s reaction, Wang Da smiled bitterly and said, “Surprised? I was also surprised when I heard this. I was informed by someone from the Forbidden Path Sect, so I can only believe this. This is also why I want to move the Blood Knife Gang to Demonheart City. If the Demonic-Devil Alliance attacks the Righteous Faction, then I will have to leave the Blood Knife Gang to participate. Once I’m gone, the Blood Knife Gang wouldn’t be able to survive against the three gangs in Split River City. And since I also want to make the Blood Knife Gang expand, I decided to move to Demonheart City.”

Zhao Hai was shocked. He didn’t expect the move of the Blood Knife Gang to have deep reasons.

Wang Da sighed and said, “Now that the Forbidden Path Sect has begun accepting disciples, it seems like the wheels have begun rolling. Little Ling, you have good talent, and you are still young. Although you came out because of your family, it would be more beneficial for your clan if you could join the sect. This is an opportunity for you. Go back and think about what I said.”

Zhao Hai stood up and cupped his fist before turning around and leaving. Before long, he returned to his courtyard. Ma Long and Liu Cai had yet to return. Zhao Hai didn’t wait for them and immediately returned to his room. After putting up several formations, Zhao Hai’s body flashed and appeared on Residence Number 52 shortly after.

After arriving in his courtyard, Zhao Hai couldn’t help but stare because he couldn’t sense the Yin Yang Elders. He immediately took out his communication token and called the Yin Yang Elders.

Before Ling, the Yin Elder appeared on the token. He looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Little Hai, what’s the matter?”

“Master, where are you? Why aren’t you in the residence? I have important information to tell you.” Zhao Hai said immediately as soon as he saw the Yin Elder.

Hearing Zhao Hai, the Yin Elder quickly replied, “We’re at the Heaven Slashing Palace. If you have anything important to report, you can come here.” Zhao Hai nodded as he quickly disappeared and then arrived at the Heaven Slashing Palace of the Tyrant Blade Sect.

The people of the Heaven Slashing Palace naturally knew Zhao Hai. As soon as they saw him, they gave him a greeting which Zhao Hai reciprocated. Despite being polite to everyone, Zhao Hai was still rushing in. The guards of the palace naturally heard the orders, so they didn’t stop Zhao Hai. When he arrived in front of the palace, a cultivator announced his arrival, “Zhao Hai is here!”

The palace master’s voice was heard, “Let him in.” The guard outside the door opened the door and invited Zhao Hai in. Zhao Hai cupped his fist towards the guard before entering.

Upon enticing the palace, Zhao Hai stared. He didn’t expect there to be plenty of people inside. Besides the Yin Yang Elders, there were also other elders inside. Even the branch hall elders were present. Seeing this scene, Zhao Hai knew that something must have happened.

Zhao Hai immediately recovered. Then he cupped his fist and said, “I have seen the palace master.” Then he cupped his fist to the Yin Yang Elders and then to the rest of the elders.

After Zhao Hai gave his respects, the palace master asked, “Little Hai, you said that you have something important to report. What is it?”

Zhao Hai nodded and said, “Yes. This disciple has obtained confirmation that the Demonic and the Devil Cultivators have established and alliance. They are indeed preparing to attack the Righteous Alliance.”

After Zhao Hai said that, everyone looked at him in confusion. They had already received this news, they were already aware.

Zhao Hai looked at everyone and then added, “This disciple has confirmed the authenticity of this news. Additionally, I heard that the demonic faction has issued a recruitment notice to all Teleportation Stage rogue cultivators. Once the war begins, all of the Teleportation Stage rogue cultivators will participate in the battle. The sects of the demonic faction are also recruiting disciples en masse.”

Unlike his previous report, Zhao Hai’s follow-up information caused the cultivators present to erupt in discussion. Although they have received news that the demonic and the evil factions have formed an alliance, the information has yet to be proven. Now, not only has Zhao Hai confirmed the information, he also brought news about the alliance recruiting Teleportation Stage rogue cultivators to participate in the war.

“Silence!” The palace master immediately ordered everyone to quiet down. At this moment everyone’s gaze was on Zhao Hai.

The palace master looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Little Hai, as you know, this is significant information. The consequence to the sect if it were false will be critical. Are you sure that this information is true?”

Zhao Hai seriously replied, “I am confident that the information is true. palace master can rest assured.”

The palace master nodded and said, “Alright, I believe you. I’ll take it from here. You can go back.” Zhao Hai complied. He cupped his fist and left the hall. Ṙ𝐀Ꞑǒ𝐁Ëś

The fact that Zhao Hai infiltrated the underground world and was then sent to the True Spirit Realm was only known to a few people. Naturally, the palace master and the Yin Yang Elders were aware among those who knew. It was precisely because of this that the palace master placed great importance on Zhao Hai’s words. He knew that Zhao Hai was currently holding multiple identities that couldn’t be exposed. It was impossible for Zhao Hai to stay in the sect for long, so he let Zhao Hai leave.

Although the others didn’t know what the palace master was thinking, they didn’t say anything. After all, Zhao Hai’s presence wasn’t important right now. What they needed to focus on was the information that Zhao Hai brought.

After Zhao Hai left, the palace master looked at everyone and said, “You all have heard Zhao Hai’s report. What do you think?”

The hall was silent. Although they have heard rumors about the alliance, having it suddenly proven was still shocking. They were speechless for some time.

Seeing everyone’s reaction, the Yin Elder looked at the palace master and said, “Palace Master, I think it’s time for us to go all-out in preparation for war. With the information practically confirmed, war is inevitable. Since we cannot avoid it, the Tyrant Blade Sect will have to mobilize everything it has to get through the war.  We need to let everyone know how sharp our blades are. They need to know that we aren’t soft fruits that they could just squeeze.”

The palace master nodded and said, “Now that we have confirmation, it’s time to prepare for war. We would be fools to sit on our asses while the enemy is preparing to attack us. Starting today, the Tyrant Blade Sect is in full-on war preparation. Strategic materials will no longer be traded. All disciples outside the sect need to be recalled. We will also recruit the rogue cultivators within our borders. Tell them that the sect will not treat them badly. And once the war is over, they will be richly compensated.”

The hall rumbled as everyone complied. The Palace Master continued, “To the branch hall masters, although I know that your branches have their own strengths, it’s impossible for you to block attacks coming from major sects. So, from now on, be prepared to retreat at any time. I command all branch halls to restrict their usage of formations. Besides crucial formations, all energy should be saved for guardian formations. All transmission formations need to be heavily guarded. To the Formation Hall, inspect the sect’s Mountain Guarding Formation. Ensure that the formation is in optimal shape.”

The various Branch Hall Masters as well as Elder Zhen complied. The others finally felt that war was truly approaching. They were waiting for the Palace Master to give additional orders.

The Palace Master continued, “All Elders must stick to their stations. Most importantly Yuan Mountain. Junior Brothers, you need to protect it.”

The Yin Yang Elders nodded. They also knew how important Yuan Mountain was. The peak was right beside the Black Dragon Mountain. The beasts in Black Dragon Mountain aren’t fully controlled by the sect. When war comes, the enemy could use the mountain to sneak into the Tyrant Blade Sect. Because of this, the defense of Yuan Mountain was imperative. The enemy cannot enter the Tyrant Blade Sect’s territory.

The Yin Yang Elders have been living in Yuan Peak recently. It was natural for them to be its guardians. So, when the Palace Master issued the order, they didn’t say anything and just agreed.

The Palace Master added, “Regarding Yuan Peak, when it was constructed, a large formation was also built underneath it. It won’t be easy for the enemy to break through. The other points in the sect must also be careful. As you know, the enemy has other choices to break through besides Yuan Peak. So, no matter where you are located, always keep vigilance. Always be ready for battle.” Everyone nodded.

The Palace Master turned to Lu Lin and said, “Elder Lu, resources need to be moved as we prepare for war. You are better than me at this. I need your opinion.”

Lu Lin nodded, “Yes, Palace Master. After multiple upgrades, our Mountain Guarding Formation has become stronger. It will be very hard for the enemy to break it in a short time. We need ships to always be prepared to reinforce the areas that the enemy decides to attack. We cannot allow the attackers to break through the formation. The headquarters is too important to the sect. Any damage to the headquarters will damage the sect’s foundation. I suggest we move our elite disciples to form ten groups/ These groups will stay in the main hall and would only move once the battle becomes tense. They will act as reserves, ready to help any battle group that is struggling. And once the enemy is repelled, they can act as a hunting team with the Palace Master’s approval.”

The Palace Master nodded and said, “Then Elder Lu can select disciples or the sect to join the ten reserve groups. Each group will have a thousand members. You can select any disciple except Zhao Hai, he has his own duties to fulfill.”

Lu Lin nodded and said, “Palace Master can rest assured.”

The Palace Master nodded as he turned to the others and said, “This will be a calamity for the Tyrant Blade Sect. But this is also an opportunity. Every huge war is followed by a reshuffling of influence in the realm. The Tyrant Blade Sect has the advantage of knowing in advance. As long as we capitalize on this, we would certainly benefit in the future. Therefore, everyone needs to work hard.”

Everyone complied simultaneously. The Palace Master looked at everyone and asked, “Does anyone have anything else to say? If not, you can go back and prepare.”

At this time, the Yang Elder opened his mouth and said, “Palace Master, I have something to say.”

The Palace Master looked at the Yang Elder and said, “Junior Brother, please speak.” The Yang Elder rarely spoke. But every time he opened his mouth, his message would always be important.

The Yang Elder nodded and said, “Palace Master, we should inform the True Dao Sect about this. They are our closest ally. If the war comes and they are unprepared, it would also be bad for us.”

Hearing this, the Palace Master thought about it for a moment before saying, “Alright. We will tell the True Dao Sect as well. Over the years, the True Dao Sect has proven themselves to be our closest ally. No matter what happens, they are always by our side. We would be betraying them if we withhold such crucial information. However, we must make sure that the True Dao Sect doesn’t spread this news. Right now, it would be better if this information is known to as few people as possible. Does anyone else have anything to say?”

Those present shook their heads. The Palace Master nodded and said, “Alright, you can all go back and prepare.” Everyone complied and left.
