Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World

Chapter 2226: Wang Da Arrives

Old Kin looked at Liu Zhen and said, “Dig up all the soil I outlined. Make sure that the hole is 5 meters deep.”

Liu Zhen nodded. Then Old Kin said, “Alright, that’s all for today. Once you clean up all the soil for the foundation, we can proceed to the next step.”

Liu Zhen immediately replied, “I’ll make sure to comply with your requirements. Old Kin, Little Ling has prepared some food and wine. Come have a drink with us.”

Old Kin didn’t decline, “Let’s go.” Liu Zhen and Zhao Hai hurriedly led Old Kin back to the inn that they rented out. After arriving at the inn, Zhao Hai immediately called the attendant and handed over the food that he bought earlier to be prepared. Then he sat down with Old Kin and the others.

As the inn’s attendant offered tea, Liu Zhen turned to Old Kin and said, “Old Kin, thank you for helping the Blood Knife Gang with our problem.”

Old Kin waved his hand and said, “Hall Master Liu is too polite. You’re a customer of the Abundance Hall. Naturally, I have to take care of your troubles. I’m a builder, and making structures is my job. You don’t have to express your thanks.”

Hearing this, Liu Zhen immediately said, “No matter what, Old Kin has helped the Blood Knife Gang. The gang will not forget this favor.”

Old Kin just waved his hand and didn’t reply. Seeing this, Liu Zhen didn’t know what to say. He now understood what Shopkeeper Yun said. Old Kin had quite the temperament.

Zhao Hai couldn’t help but secretly smile when he saw this. He understood what kind of person Old Kin was. He immediately said, “Old Kin, did you see any issues with our plans? We aren’t good with building. We want to ask you for advice.”

Hearing this, Old Kin stared, then he immediately answered, “There are plenty of issues. First, the location of your training ground is unreasonable….” Then Old Kin described all of the problems with the Blood Knife Gang’s headquarters.

Liu Zhen’s eyes looked vacant as he listened to Old Kin’s speech. He thought that Old Kin was a quiet person. He did not expect him to be very talkative. Liu Zhen couldn’t help but turn his head towards Zhao Hai. All of this was possible because of Zhao Hai.

Old Kin talked for a bit more than an hour. During this time, the food and drinks have been served. Then Liu Zhen invited Old Kin to eat.

After talking for a long time, Old Kin looked at the food with expectations. The food were all prepared by Zhao Hai, which meant that they were products of the Space. In addition to the healthy spread, all of the dishes were better than the ones in the True Spirit Realm. The smell alone caused Old Kin’s stomach to rumble.

Seeing Old Kin’s hunger, Liu Zhen quickly said, “Old Kin, please.” Old Kin didn’t hesitate as he took his chopsticks and ate the dishes on the table.

The moment the vegetables hit Old Kin’s mouth, he couldn’t help but close his eyes. He chewed slowly as he savored the flavor of the food. This caused Liu Zhen to be nervous. He didn’t know if Old Kin liked the food or not.

After chewing for a while, Old Kin opened his eyes and then nodded towards Liu Zhen before saying, “This is good food. Although the vegetables are ordinary, they are very high grade. I didn’t expect to eat such good vegetables. My trip to the Blood Knife Gang wasn’t a waste!”

Liu Zhen relaxed as soon as he heard this. He immediately said, “It’s good that Old Kin liked the food. Please, take this cup as my respects.” Then he poured Old Kin a glass of wine. The wine was also from the Space, so there was no doubt regarding its quality.

Old Kin took the cup and then raised it towards Liu Zhen, “This old man only has two hobbies. The first one is building. Watching structures being built by my own hands makes me very happy. The clothes hobby I have is food. I like to taste food from various places. I also research dishes and wines. From the first look, I can see that this is a very high-quality wine. This old man would have to be impolite.”

Liu Zhen smiled and said, “Old Kin, there’s no need to be polite.” Old Kin nodded and then downed the wine cup.

After he let out a long breath, Old Kin said, “Nice wine. I can drink this wine for days.”

Liu Zhen also looked at his own cup. To be honest, Liu Zhen liked drinking as well. Compared to the wines he drank before, the wine in his hands was on a different level.

Liu Zhen couldn’t help but turn to Zhao Hai and said, “Junior Brother, where did you buy this wine? Did you buy a lot?”

Hearing Liu Zhen, Zhao Hai smiled faintly and said, “Don’t worry, I managed to buy a lot. However, I didn’t buy this wine from a shop. There’s a cultivator in the third city selling his family’s wine. He said that the recipe has been lost and he’s selling the wine because he needs the money. I tasted it and thought that it was good, so I bought a hundred jars. Each jar contains around a hundred catty of wine.”

Liu Zhen nodded and said, “Good. let’s give the wine to Old Kin.” Zhao Hai nodded. The wine wasn’t special to him. It was a common good of the Space. Not to mention giving away 10 thousand catties of wine, he wouldn’t flinch even if he gave a hundred thousand.

Hearing Liu Zhen, Old Kin didn’t decline and only thanked Liu Zhen. Zhao Hai picked up the jar on the table and poured wine for Liu Zhen and Old Kin. The mood of the table became good.

Liu Zhen’s table ate happily for the rest of the night. The things produced by the Space weren’t ordinary. Each article of food was high-grade. Due to this meal, Zhao Hai and Liu Zhen’s relationship with Old Kin became closer. 𝙍å₦ÓBËS

After the meal, Zhao Hai rested for the rest of the day. The next day, Zhao Hai and the others arrived at the worksite to dig the foundations.

Old Kin also came. He made some changes to the lines he drew the day before to make the Blood Knife Gang’s headquarters more reasonable. The other members of the Blood Knife Gang were also busy with the foundation, which was a very important aspect of building.

With more than 100 cultivators digging, the work proceeded very fast. In just one day, most of the digging was done. Old Kin also instructed Liu Zhen what needed to be done the next day.

The worksite proceeded in an orderly manner. Old Kin hardly communicated with Zhao Hai besides during meals. Natusally, Zhao Hai didn’t go looking for Old Kin when he was working. Zhao Hai doesn’t know if Old Kin was aware of his identity, but even if he knew, Old Kin couldn’t help him. If Zhao Hai needed help, he would go look for Long Tian.

In the next five days, Old Kin went with Liu Zhen and Zhao Hai to the worksite. The first builder they hired continued to follow behind Old Kin. He had completely lost the arrogance he had. No matter which way one looked, he looked like an apprentice learning from Old Kin.

Old Kin wasn’t stingy as well. He taught the young builder a lot of things, benefiting him greatly. Zhao Hai and Liu Zhen didn’t say anything regarding this. They didn’t want to offend the builder to death. After all, the builder had no other fault besides being arrogant.

Five days later, the Blood Knife Gang’s headquarters finally took form. Although the headquarters looked simple, it became more practical due to Old Kin’s modifications.

Just as the Blood Knife Gang’s main hall was about to be built, Wang Da brought everyone to Demonheart City. The gang has finally migrated to Demonheart City.

With Wang Da arriving in Demonheart City, the Blood Knife Gang’s main hall was fully operational. Although the headquarters wasn’t completely finished, it didn’t affect its habitability.

Wang Da was very satisfied with the changes to the layout. Hearing that Old Kin was from the Abundance Hall, Wang Da was very polite. He took the initiative to ask Old Kin for a drink.

Wang Da’s actions were understandable. The Abundance Hall was far more powerful compared to the Blood Knife Gang. It was also one of the gang’s biggest customers. Naturally, Wang Da couldn’t offend the Abundance Hall’s people.

On the night he arrived in Demonheart City, Wang Da called Zhao Hai and Liu Zhen to his room. Once all three of them were seated down, Wang Da said, “The two of you did a very good job. Forming a relationship with the Abundance Hall will benefit the Blood Knife Gang in the future. Moving to Demonheart City doesn’t mean that jade essences will begin raining down from the sky. We still need to establish a foothold in the city. We can’t let go of a big customer like the Abundance Hall. It’s very important for us to maintain a good relationship with them.”

Zhao Hai and Liu Zhen nodded. Liu Zhen said, “Gang Master, what’s the situation in Split River City? Isn’t it a waste to move out completely?”

Zhao Hai could understand Liu Zhen’s concern. The Blood Knife Gang also has a lot of businesses in Demonheart City. Liu Zhen felt that it was a pity to let go of these businesses.

Hearing Liu Zhen, Wang Da shook his head and said, “Don’t feel bad about it. It would be more difficult for us if we kept our businesses in Split River City after moving to Demonheart City. Now that we cut off all our paths back, we can fight in Demonheart City with all our might.”

Liu Zhen immediately understood Wang Da’s thoughts. He looked at Wang Da and said, “I understand. Gang Master, what do we do now? Everyone is here and the headquarters is almost finished. Shouldn’t we start taking missions? We can’t always waste time like this.”

Wang Da nodded and said, “Sitting idle is indeed unproductive. But you shouldn’t be anxious about the missions. Demonheart City is different from Split River City. Back in Split River City, we can monopolize all of the good missions. We can’t do that here. There are a lot of gangs much stronger than us. It’s impossible for us to get all the good missions. And if we get good missions, we might offend people. So, we might as well use this time to make use of our good relationship with the Abundance Hall. Go there tomorrow and ask about the situation of the missions in Demonheart City. Then we can begin taking missions. At the same time, we should see if we can secure a spot in the fifth city. Then we can begin to get a business up and running.”

Liu Zhen nodded and said, “Alright. The people from the Abundance Hall aren’t as difficult as the rumors say. They have taken good care of us so far. Shopkeeper Yun is quite a talkative person. I reckon he can help us out.”

Wand Da nodded, “Alright. I’ll leave this matter to you. Little Ling, give all of the wine you have to Old Kin. Old Kin’s position in the Abundance Hall isn’t low.  It would be great for the Blood Knife Gang to be in good relations with him.”

Zhao Hai nodded and said, “Yes, Gang Master. I’ll give the rest of the wine to Old Kin.”

Wang Da nodded. Then his voice turned cold as he said, “The three gangs didn’t know that we moved out. I believe it won’t be long before they know. Let them be happy for two days, then we’ll find time to clean them up. The three gangs will definitely be glad to see us gone and won’t look at us as a threat. Tomorrow we’ll go and see if there is a mission going to Split River City. We are more familiar with this route. Although its reward wouldn’t be high, nobody would take it away from us. While taking missions, we can also familiarize ourselves with Demonheart City.”

Liu Zhen nodded when he heard this. He replied, “I’ll handle this tomorrow.”

Wang Da waved his hand and said, “Alright, you can go back and rest.  We’ll be busy for quite some time. We just arrived at Demonheart City, we have a lot of things to do.”

Zhao Hai and Liu Zhen complied. They cupped their fists towards Wang Da and turned around to leave. After leaving Wang Da’s room, Liu Zhen turned to Zhao Hai and said, “Junior Brother, from what I can see, Shopkeeper Yun looks at you favorably. Moreover, you know how to communicate with Old Kin. While I go look for missions tomorrow, I’ll have to ask you to go to the Abundance Hall to ask for information.”

Zhao Hai nodded and said, “Big Brother, you can rest assured. I’ll take care of it.” Zhao Hai was also thinking of getting in contact with the Abundance Hall. Fortunately, he didn’t have to come up with an excuse. He didn’t hesitate to agree.
