Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Why is he engaging in self-destructive behavior now?

Is it because of her?

”Miss Li, if you have time now, please come and persuade the young master, okay? I’m begging you.” Di Sheng had just finished speaking, then let out an exclamation.

”Young master, be careful!”

Li Mingxi heard a loud crashing sound over the phone.

Her heart couldn’t help but tense up.

”Di Sheng, what happened?”

”...The young master fell, Miss Li, I’ll hang up first, goodbye.”

Listening to the dial tone, Li Mingxi became even more anxious.

He fell down, but how badly?

Li Mingxi felt increasingly restless; in Xiao Lang’s current state, she really couldn’t be at ease.

Li Mingxi stomped her foot, gritted her teeth, and decided to visit him after all.

Xiao Lang has now moved back to live in his villa.

In his condition, it’s naturally not suitable for him to live alone in an apartment.

Li Mingxi drove to the villa and walked in naturally, knowing the place well.

There was only one servant cleaning the living room.

Li Mingxi asked her, ”Where is Xiao Lang?”

”Miss Li, the young master is in the bedroom upstairs.”

Li Mingxi walked upstairs in her high heels.

Before she even reached the bedroom door, she heard Di Sheng advising, ”Young master, you can’t refuse the medicine. It’s not just that your eyes can’t see; you still have various wounds on your body, and you need to take the medicine, or your wounds will get infected.”

”Get out!” Xiao Lang coldly growled.

”Young master...”

”Get out!”

Di Sheng, with sharp eyes, saw Li Mingxi walking in.

He seemed to see a savior, striding forward, shoving the medicine into her hand, ”Miss Li, please persuade the young master to take these medicines. You’re a doctor; you must have a way to persuade him.”

”I wasn’t aware doctors had such abilities.” Li Mingxi gave a faint smile.

”Miss Li, I’m begging you.”

After saying that, Di Sheng stepped out, not leaving Li Mingxi any chance to refuse.

Now, only Li Mingxi and Xiao Lang were left in the bedroom.

Xiao Lang’s eyes were still wrapped in bandages. He faced the window, as if unaware of Li Mingxi’s arrival.

Li Mingxi walked up to him and waved her hand, ”Can you really not see?”

”Whether I can see or not has nothing to do with you, right?” Xiao Lang frowned coldly.

Li Mingxi felt uncomfortable inside.

She had never seen Xiao Lang so indifferent.

The Xiao Lang of the past could always maintain his elegance and grace no matter what he faced.

Now, he’s like a hedgehog, raising his quills at every turn.

”I don’t recall owing you money, so there’s no need to treat me like this.” Li Mingxi sat beside him, pulling his hand and putting the pills into it.

”Take your medicine. How will you recover quickly if you don’t?”

Xiao Lang suddenly threw the pills on the ground—

Li Mingxi couldn’t quite react, ”What are you doing?!”

”I won’t take them, just leave.” Xiao Lang said indifferently.

”What’s wrong with you?” Li Mingxi really didn’t understand why his temper had become so bad.

Xiao Lang slightly pulled the corner of his mouth into a self-mocking arc, ”Don’t worry, I won’t bother you anymore, you can go.”

”...” Li Mingxi pressed her lips together, ”I’m your doctor right now, if you don’t cooperate with the treatment, how am I supposed to leave?”

”You don’t need to be my doctor anymore; I don’t want to fall in love with another doctor.”

”...”

”Letting me get used to someone’s presence, and then leaving heartlessly, I’ve had enough of such a relationship. So I don’t need a doctor, I don’t need anything.”
