Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1889: Chapter 1889: Buying Your Life

“What, are you still trying to deny it? So many people just saw you hit me! I’m a patient, and you dared to hit me, are you doing this on purpose?!” The female patient was particularly arrogant, relying on the fact that she was a patient and knowing Jian Yufei was in a bind.

A lot of people were watching.

Jian Yufei’s face was wrapped in a scarf, so they couldn’t see her face.

Fortunately, they couldn’t see it; she didn’t want to be humiliated here.

Just as the two of them were in a tussle, Ruan Tianling came running over with Jian Yufei’s handbag.

The female patient, who was gripping Jian Yufei’s wrist, abruptly found her hand being squeezed and forcefully pulled away.

Jian Yufei then fell into a broad embrace.

“What are you doing?!” Ruan Tianling glared at the female patient, his expression dark and frightening.

The female patient flinched but then pointed at Jian Yufei and said, “She walked without looking and opened up my wound; I want her to pay for my medical expenses!”

You could tell just by looking at her that this woman was trying to extort money.

Jian Yufei originally intended to apologize but then decided against it. Apologizing wouldn’t do any good anyway.

Besides, the other party clearly didn’t want an apology, just compensation.

Ruan Tianling glanced at Jian Yufei, and on her pale cheek, several red finger marks were very clear.

A storm instantly gathered in Ruan Tianling’s eyes.

He coldly asked the female patient, “Did you hit her?”

To be honest, Ruan Tianling looked terrifying when he was angry, with a sharp aura that was quite intimidating.

The female patient took a step back in fear but still arrogantly said, “Yes, I taught her a lesson to make her watch where she was going! Now my wound hurts a lot, and I need to go for a check-up; you have to cover all the medical expenses!”

“How much do you want for medical expenses?” Ruan Tianling asked.

“At least three or four thousand!”

Ruan Tianling sneered, “I’ll give you ten thousand, how about that?”

The female patient was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, “If you’re willing to give, I’m willing to take!”

Ruan Tianling immediately called the driver downstairs and asked him to bring up ten thousand yuan.

The driver was quick, and within ten minutes, he was upstairs with the money.

Ruan Tianling took out five thousand yuan and handed it to the female patient, “This is for your medical expenses. Take it.”

The female patient took the money greedily, “Didn’t you agree to give me ten thousand?!”

“I agreed to give you ten thousand, but since you hit my woman, I can’t just let it go.” Ruan Tianling said coldly.

The female patient became wary, “She deserved it for hitting my wound! Why should I pay?! ”

Ruan Tianling stepped closer and, lowering his head to speak in a voice only she could hear, said chillingly, “So what if she opened your wound? Even if she killed you, you’d still deserve to die! How much is your life worth? Name a price, and I’ll buy it.”

The female patient widened her eyes in horror because she clearly saw the bloodthirsty intent to kill in his eyes.

That was real murderous intent, not just a threat.

In her life, the female patient had never seen anyone with such a terrifying look in their eyes.

“I… I don’t want the money anymore…” she said tremblingly in fear.

Ruan Tianling continued to stare at her, his gaze terrifying, and the female patient was so scared she couldn’t move.

“You’re giving up the money for your life?!” Ruan Tianling questioned.

“No… I don’t want the medical expenses anymore… please don’t kill me, I don’t want it…”

Ruan Tianling said coldly, “Not killing you is possible; slap yourself ten times, or I won’t mind doing it myself!”

“You must be joking, right?” Make her hit herself, how could that be possible?
