Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1795: Chapter 1795: Find me again after 1 month

Nangong Xu pushed open the door and personally brought in a bowl of porridge.

Sitting by the bed, he placed the bowl aside, reached out to support Nangong Ruyue’s body, and then propped a soft pillow behind her.

He picked up the bowl, scooped a spoonful of porridge, and brought it to her lips, ”Eat something, your health is not good, this pregnancy might fail.”

If it fails, she will have to do it all over again, and suffer once more.

Nangong Ruyue reached out her hand to take the spoon, intending to eat by herself.

Nangong Xu avoided her hand, ”I’ll feed you.”

[I’ll eat by myself.]

”Ruyue, don’t be so stubborn.”

[I’ll eat on my own, or take it away.]

Nangong Xu and she were at a stalemate for a while. Seeing that she had no intention to compromise, he had no choice but to hand her the spoon.

Nangong Ruyue sat up properly, holding the bowl, and ate slowly with her eyes downcast.

Nangong Xu smiled, searching for a topic, ”If this pregnancy succeeds, he will be born next summer. I’m planning to name him Nangong Xia, what do you think?”

Nangong Ruyue didn’t even give him a glance.

Nangong Xu didn’t mind and continued laughing, ”Originally, I planned to use your name and mine for his name, but I think Nangong already represents you and me. Ruyue, do you have any good names?”

”...”

”There’s still some time until the child is born, no rush, you can think about it slowly.”

Nangong Ruyue put the bowl aside and stopped eating.

She coldly gestured, [When will you let Yufei and the others go?]

Nangong Xu slightly restrained his smile, ”Once the fetus is stable in a month, we can discuss it.”

A month’s time remaining...

[I want to see Yufei.]

”Rest assured, she’s fine. You can’t get out of bed for a month, you need complete rest. Anyway, I promise you, I won’t make things difficult for them.”

Nangong Xu’s promises were as reliable as a pig climbing a tree.

However, he probably wouldn’t do anything to them, at least not before his goals were achieved, he wouldn’t harm them.

[I hope you keep your promise, or else this child, I can make him die in the womb at any time!] Nangong Ruyue coldly threatened him.

Nangong Xu’s gaze darkened, ”Ruyue, he’s your child too, are you really so heartless?”

[He’s not the child I need, I’m not at all anticipating his arrival.]

Her words were like a sword, piercing into Nangong Xu’s heart.

Because she loathes him, she dislikes their child too.

Nangong Xu reached out his hand, touching her belly, ”But I’m looking forward to him and will ensure he’s born safely.”

Nangong Ruyue sharply turned her head away.

She felt things were becoming increasingly complicated. With this child, would it affect their future lives?

[If you want him to be born safely, ensure Yufei and the others are safe. Nangong Xu, it’s better to let things go if you can. I hope the grievances of the previous generation aren’t taken out on the next.]

”Whether I retaliate against them will depend on your behavior.” Nangong Xu smiled lightly.

Nangong Ruyue was also unwilling to show weakness, [Whether this child can be born safely also depends on your behavior.]

...

After Nangong Xu left the bedroom, he received a call from his subordinate.

”BOSS, Ruan Tianling requests to see you. He wants to visit the island again, under the condition of handing over two rings.”

Nangong Xu said coldly, ”Tell him that I’m very busy this month. If he wants to meet, come find me after a month.”

”Understood, I see.”

Nangong Xu hung up the phone, a cold smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
