Fated to My Billionaire Husband

Chapter 1672: Chapter 1672: Can’t Let You Drink Alcohol

She was slightly stunned, then she smiled wryly.

He was taller than Ruan Tianling, and his build was different too. She must be missing Ruan Tianling too much, which is why she mistook him.

The bodyguard quickly returned with drinks, handing hot coffee to Qi Ruisen, and hot milk to Jian Yufei.

Jian Yufei held the cup and gave the bodyguard a grateful smile: ”Thank you.”

”You’re welcome.” The bodyguard’s voice was a bit hoarse; he took a step back and continued to stand dutifully behind them.

After drinking the milk, Jian Yufei felt a little more comfortable.

Then, Qi Ruisen took her to a few more places for fun.

Jian Yufei wasn’t in the mood for sightseeing, but she cooperated and walked around here and there. Her body was already very weak; after a half-day of activities, she was exhausted, but she didn’t want to return to the castle.

Qi Ruisen said they didn’t have to go back today and could stay at his villa for the night.

”Is it okay not to go back?” Jian Yufei asked in return.

Qi Ruisen smiled and said, ”Although Nangong Xu wants to bring you back, it doesn’t mean he will keep you contained. Moreover, he has no reason to imprison you as long as you don’t escape his sphere of influence.”

”Alright then, we won’t go back today.” Jian Yufei nodded.

Qi Ruisen instructed the driver to take them to his villa.

Jian Yufei had been to his villa before. That night, Ruan Tianling had even climbed through the window for a secret tryst with her, which had frightened her at the time.

Naturally, Jian Yufei stayed in her usual room.

Nothing in the room had changed.

Jian Yufei pushed open the window and suddenly felt a little expectant, wondering if Ruan Tianling would climb through it again.

Probably not. At this time, he was in A City, living a carefree and happy life.

Jian Yufei took out her tablet and searched for news about A City.

Sure enough, there was news about Ruan Tianling every day...

Yesterday, he was photographed on a date with a certain actress and seen with his arm around her shoulder, which felt particularly glaring to Jian Yufei.

She closed the page and tossed aside the tablet, feeling a restless vexation in her heart.

She went downstairs, only to find that Qi Ruisen was not there.

There were only a few bodyguards protecting her.

”Where’s Qi Ruisen?” she asked one of the bodyguards, the one who had bought her milk.

She wasn’t acquainted with the other bodyguards, only feeling a bit familiar with him.

”The young master had something to attend to and left. He said if you need anything, just let us know,” the bodyguard replied flatly.

Jian Yufei wasn’t looking for Qi Ruisen for anything in particular; she was just asking.

She said nothing more, turned around, and walked to the bar counter.

There was a collection of fine wines in the wine cabinet.

Jian Yufei took out a bottle, opened it with a corkscrew, then filled a glass and was just about to drink.

”Miss!” The bodyguard from earlier stepped forward with a blank expression, saying, ”The young master instructed us not to let you drink alcohol.”

Jian Yufei looked at him with the glass in her hand, ”He even guessed I would drink?”

”The young master said you’re not in good health and instructed us to take good care of you, or else he would punish us.”

Jian Yufei never made things difficult for others.

But she really wanted to drink. She wanted to get drunk and then have a long sleep.

”I won’t drink much, just one glass.”

”It’s best if Miss doesn’t drink even a sip.”

”My health is fine, one glass won’t hurt.”

The bodyguard remained expressionless, ”Please forgive me, Miss, but it’s my duty; I can’t let you drink.”

Jian Yufei felt a bit irritated, ”What if I insist on drinking?”

The bodyguard took out a gun, extending his hand in a white glove, ”If Miss insists on drinking, please shoot me first. If I can’t stop you, then you can drink.”
