Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 2044: Chapter 2045: Fiancée

This Wan Kun, with his thick eyebrows and large eyes, might look fierce on Earth, but in the Martial Realm, this look is quite popular, and it certainly attracts women more than Ye Luo’s appearance.

Of course, appearance is just one aspect in the Martial Realm, the more important factor is still strength!

In the Martial Realm, strength is respected!

When Wan Kun barged in and saw Ye Luo and Liu Mei together, he immediately became furious.

”You two, how dare you get together! Does the Liu Family Head know about this?” he shouted angrily.

Liu Mei’s expression immediately became evasive, which puzzled Ye Luo. Even if the Wan Family is indeed much stronger than the Liu Family, given Liu Mei’s personality, she wouldn’t necessarily be afraid of him!

”Hmph, are all the Wan Family people so rude? Breaking into other people’s rooms without any manners at all?” Ye Luo said coldly.

Others might fear the Wan Family, but he does not. To be precise, he wouldn’t mind having some conflict with the Wan Family to increase his own notoriety!

Without making a fuss, who would know the name Liu Qing? Sometimes, fame is quite useful.

”Manners?” Wan Kun’s face darkened instantly, ”You’re being intimate with my fiancée in this room, and now you’re lecturing me on manners? I’d like to ask the Liu Family Head what manners are!”

What? Liu Mei is actually his fiancée? Ye Luo widened his eyes and looked at Liu Mei.

Liu Mei immediately panicked and couldn’t meet Ye Luo’s eyes, ”Don’t listen to his nonsense, how could I be his fiancée?”

However, Ye Luo is a smart man; when he saw her expression, he knew there was something off.

”Hmph, our two families had an agreement long ago. After the Sect Master’s birthday banquet, I’ll go to the Liu Family to propose, and the Liu Family Head also promised to betroth you to me last time. Is that still nonsense?”

Upon hearing this, Ye Luo understood. Strictly speaking, it’s not wrong for Wan Kun to call her his fiancée, given the prior agreement between the two families.

But who is Ye Luo, and what does it matter if she’s a fiancée?

Liu Mei was almost in tears, feeling very wronged. She hadn’t planned on agreeing to this marriage, but she had no way to refute Wan Kun’s words!

He was stating facts! That’s why she felt as if she’d swallowed a fly, feeling irritable.

”What if he misunderstands me? What should I do? I have nothing to do with Wan Kun!” she thought.

Just as she was mustering the courage to voice her thoughts, she suddenly felt a tightness around her waist, and a strong masculine scent engulfed her.

Instinctively, her heartbeat quickened, and an unusual feeling swept through her body.

She had been pulled into Ye Luo’s embrace!

Not only was she stunned, but Wan Kun across from them was also shocked.

He had not expected that Ye Luo would have such audacity, daring to do this after learning of Liu Mei’s identity, right in front of him!

”Since you haven’t proposed yet, how is she considered a fiancée? Do you have any shame? I’m also thinking of proposing after the birthday banquet, so wouldn’t that make her my fiancée too!”

As Ye Luo spoke, he applied a bit of pressure with his hand, causing Liu Mei to moan softly, her face burying into Ye Luo’s chest.

This surprised Ye Luo slightly, but her figure was indeed very soft and flexible, an excellent feel.

When Wan Kun heard Ye Luo’s words and saw this scene, he almost jumped up in fury, ”Nonsense! What kind of nonsense logic is this? Fine, I want to see just how capable the Liu Family’s genius is! Today, I’ll cripple you!”

With that, he threw a punch directly at Ye Luo.

Immediately, a powerful aura emanated from Wan Kun’s body.

Earth Martial Realm, Seventh Rank! This Wan Kun wasn’t even a core disciple competing for the Sect Master candidacy, yet his cultivation level was this high, showing that the Wan Family’s genius disciples were indeed much stronger than the Liu Family’s.

However, in Ye Luo’s eyes, this was nothing!

With a muffled ’bang,’ Ye Luo unhurriedly returned a punch.

Subsequently, Wan Kun’s body staggered back until he collided with a wall, only then did he stop!

Of course, this was merely a probing strike between the two; if they were to really fight, the room would be destroyed.

The commotion here quickly attracted onlookers, and the first to arrive were naturally the Liu Family’s disciples, since they all lived in the same courtyard. However, these people watched the spectacle from a distance and had no intention of intervening.

Shortly after, people from the Wan Family arrived.

”Quick, Brother Wan Kun is inside, let’s hurry over!”

”How dare the Liu family touch Brother Wan Kun, they must have great courage!”

”The Liu family should get out of Kunwu Sect!”

These disciples of the Wan Family shouted angrily.

Although both the Liu and Wan families were branches of the Kunwu Sect, in the eyes of the Wan Family, the Liu Family were just country bumpkins, merely vassals of the Kunwu Sect.

Besides, the Wan Family had monopolized the Sect Master position for two consecutive terms, so in the eyes of the Wan Family, they were the Kunwu Sect!

Not only these disciples, but even the elders of the Wan Family thought so.

Soon, people from the Wan Family rushed in.

There were Wan Family disciples, and also servants of the Wan Family. Naturally, these were people who usually tried to ingratiate themselves with Wan Kun; as for the true powerhouses of the Wan Family, they naturally disdained meddling in such trivial matters.

Because of this, Ye Luo was not at all panicked.

What if all these people came at him?

”What are you doing, are you trying to destroy the unity of the Kunwu Sect? Can you bear the responsibility if the Sect Master blames you?” Liu Mei shouted with a frown.

”Unity?” Wan Kun sneered, ”The Liu Family wastes Kunwu Sect’s cultivation resources every year, yet only produces one useless person after another, and you still have the face to talk about unity? Give me a good lesson for these useless people!”

As soon as Wan Kun finished speaking, the people of the Wan family sprang up.

In their eyes, the Liu Family was nothing, and now was the opportunity to curry favor with Wan Kun. Moreover, if something did happen, Wan Kun would naturally bear the consequences.

Wan Kun’s father was a Grand Elder of the Kunwu Sect! Other than the Sect Master and several Deputy Sect Masters, the Grand Elder had the greatest authority!

Of course, the Kunwu Sect also had a few Supreme Elders, but they were in closed-door cultivation and would not appear unless the Sect faced life and death.

”Stop it, all of you!”

A dignified voice suddenly sounded, and the Head of the Liu Family walked in from outside.

He naturally heard all of Wan Kun’s previous words, his expression extremely unpleasant.

Moreover, he had long been aware of what had happened here, and if it weren’t for Wan Kun’s words just now, he would not have appeared even now.

It was just some young people fighting for dominance. However, his appearance now made things a bit different.

But if he didn’t show up when others insulted the Liu Family, then they’d be a laughingstock to the other families, especially since the matter here wouldn’t escape the eyes of the other families!
